Just got my bullion Sov from Atkinsons today (as well as a few of the 1oz silver coronation coins).
Very nice. How do the silver versions look?
@@the_islandstacker Great but they are Royal Mint coins so I expect milk spotting in the future!
@@chrislumb963 good, apart from the milk spotting. One of the few reasons I don't buy silver bullion anymore.
@@the_islandstacker Yeah I tend to stick to Sovs but I really wanted a Coronation coin and a Coronation Britannia and couldn't afford a gold of each!

I need some help buying a sovereign, the new 2023 coin, in photos they look pretty Ross gold (pinkish) is this the case when buying, I'm looking for gold ones like these, any advice will be a great help
They look more pink in the pictures, but they do have a slight colour shift with having cooper in them. If you want that yellow colour you will have to buy 24 carat or but older sovereigns

@@benyere if you are in the UK, I find Atkinson to be the cheapest place or maybe Chards
I'm amazed we can buy bullion £25 cheaper on Atkinson's than the Royal Mint, Is it the RM being greedy with the premium? I use Atkinson also. Ordered mine too.
Yeah I think it is, the mint always has a massive mark up but if you want them first you have to use the mint. For example I want a 1/4oz bull of Clarence but they have not released it to other dealers yet. Just the mint cashing in as they always do.
Well I find it even more amazing as I only live 6 miles from the Mint. I buy coins from Atkinsons in Birmingham and then have them post them back to me here in South Wales and save a considerable amount on each coin!

It's the same with everything Adidas website vs online cloths store bwn oil vs BMW oil from a trader etc it's always like this got a sonos full surround system from a small online TV and sound dealer 1500 6 yrs warranty the same set up direct from sonos was 1600 1 Yr warranty and then postage

@@the_islandstackeriv checked atkinsons almost daily for yrs not once have I ever seen them beaten on price not once and that free delivery INCLUDED

It saddens me that you stackers never just touch it and play with your gold. Don’t bother explaining. Scrooge McDuck has it right. Swim in it.
It would be nice to have it all out so I can touch it. But getting fingerprints and marks all over them I think it's worse 😞.

It’s always the ones with no gold talking shit. Anyone who doesn’t use gloves when handling collectors coins has no sense or has a broke mindset. My whole collection is gold proof what now. Mentally broke pheasants
