Thank you for your video. The reason why Gold sovereigns have a rose gold color is because of their 22 karat composition which consists of 22 parts gold plus 2 parts copper which is 91.67% gold + 8.33% copper. This alloy is known as Crown Gold which was introduced by King Henry VIII of England in 1526. South African Gold Krugerrand coins are also minted in Crown Gold alloy which is why they also have rose gold color.

Thank you, nice job. Love the sovereigns and the original packaging. Rather have them in that than the graded capsules plus if the do not grade 70 they loose there original charm. Just found your channel so you will now keep an eye out for more. All the best.

Just ordered a 1kg proof silver coronation coin. Couldn't believe the royal mint still has them available! I also have a 1/2 sovereign proof, some 1oz bullion silver brittanias, some 1oz bullion silver coronation coins, and some 50ps.

That would be cool to have the 1kg proof! They are definitely going to be good choices in the future. Thanks so much for watching my video. Dan

I have been collecting Sovereigns. I see the coronation coins selling for less new than circulated old sovereigns. I have been getting Victoria’s, Edwards, George’s, but I was going to buy a coronation because they seem abnormally cheap. I had no idea Sovereigns existed in proofs.
Great video. I suggest doing them on a Gold Maple. They are fantastic. The American gold Buffalos are kind of cool as well, but I do not own one.

Sovereign is a top coin and with the crowned effigy will do very well over time even though the mintage is quite high , would suggest you try and get the 2022 platinum and memorial sovereign's as those 3 coins are now seen as the changing of the guard from the late Queen to the new king :)

I counted ten (10) layers of packaging on the gold proof coin

11 if you include the label on the box

I certainly can't complain about how well it was packaged. Thanks for watching, Dan

I've noticed that the mintage of some proof sovereigns is officially 2.500 at first and then they change it to 5130. But they still have the old mintage number on the royal mint site. Isn't that unfair?

I think what they do is 2,500 are sold as a single. Like what’s in my video. And the rest are sold in sets of 3 or 5 with other sized Sovereign. Hope this helps? Thanks for watching and for the message. Dan
