It's videos like these that make me really regret selling my entire collection (it fit in a large briefcase, I'd been collecting since age 8 and I was in my early 20s when I offloaded them) of rare and valuable coins for money to buy OxyContin tablets. $50 CAD per 80mg pill adds up fast, especially when you need two a day to just not be sick and 4-6 to really get a nod going. 11 years off the pills and counting, now. Interesting! I think I have that same "Indo-Scythian" coin..... bought it in Pakistan near the Khyber Pass in the mid-1960's. Had it appraised by a historian of that era at $50.00 in the early 1970's. Apparently a hoard of the same coins were discovered since, and the value now is next to worthless! IF it is the same coin I have!!
I know nothing about this stuff , but straight away the sincere and humble way in which they deal with you . Its a thing of time once known . Brilliant knowledge and absolutely know there stuff . Im fascinated by it all and how you guys over there in the USA do business .
Doesn’t really matter if you are DCA imo. But the main variable is why are you stacking? If you’re just trying to flip then yeah, watching the price drop sucks. If you’re buying long term and believe the value of silver is a lot higher than 26$ then a couple bucks difference isn’t really a big deal.
What are your thoughts on the $5 and $10 US Mint commemoratives? They are around a quarter and a half ounce respectively. They are sovereign coins but available at low premiums.
@@MrDavidknigge I'm still very new to this and don't have much experience. IMO, they look real nice, but I prefer 9999 fine. Personally, I would get them because they look nice first, stacking gold second. Might be a good question to pose to silver dragons, silver seekr, 2 is 1, or others.
@@MrDavidknigge I’d steer clear of those. For some reason people do not like those. I’ve seen many people and dealers post them at spot trying to get rid of them and people still don’t want them. You can buy them but just remember it may be hard to resell them later on.
What great chaps! These Guys are really genuine- people. Harry is a star. He is an old-school businessman with high morals. Such honest and good people 👌
Harry and his team seem like really good and ethical guys. Great video.
Great video. Lots of educational stuff for the newer folks. Good stuff
Wow these guys know their stuff, pretty impressive
I really enjoyed watching them walk through their appraisals. Gives great insight into what they are looking for.
The counterfeit US coins are worth a few years in a Federal Prison if prosecuted.
You'll have to arrest a Red Chinese. Lots of luck with that.
Better call the FBI to get those nere do wells.
I know nothing about this stuff , but straight away the sincere and humble way in which they deal with you . Its a thing of time once known . Brilliant knowledge and absolutely know there stuff . Im fascinated by it all and how you guys over there in the USA do business .
Stackers who bought at $26 are kicking themselves.. myself included.. Wonder if it will go down even more?
Doesn’t really matter if you are DCA imo. But the main variable is why are you stacking? If you’re just trying to flip then yeah, watching the price drop sucks. If you’re buying long term and believe the value of silver is a lot higher than 26$ then a couple bucks difference isn’t really a big deal.
@@daesong1378 it’s those premiums in some places that are pretty outrageous.
@@ScottsdaleStacker it does suck that I could have bought more if I bought today though. 🙃🥹 but it could always be more or less who knows.
Great video! I love Harry's Coin Store---I visit there often.
can you tell sd that i identify as a new customer ? lol
Those guys are so open with their knowledge and information. They are a credit to themselves.
For someone who knows nothing about coins I really appreciate your videos. Would love to hang out with Harry
The Nadir bars are LBMA 👍
I have NO IDEA what they are talking about but I can tell that they surely do. Very nice, honest and knowledgeable people!
Me building and buying 1/10th ozt gold as a goal... And seeing that they are hot means I'm doing it right.
They are the people you would trust if you thought you had a coin that was worth something!! liked how the young man who appraised the Korean coin was uncomfortable to lowball the price as it was one of a small number 300. and gave great advice to the seller.
This restriction in refiner sources, looks to me to be an attempt to drive gold and silver prices up. This stops a mass adoption of metals as "money" driven by fomo, if another series of banks go under.
When more banks go under.
Very interesting. I had a coin collection many years ago that my dad gave me and it got stolen during a move when I was about 15. So disappointing. I currently have a very modest collection, but your videos are rekindling my interest. Your dialogue with the guys in the shop is very informative. Thank you and keep 'em coming!
