- In this video I head back to Harry's Coin Shop and get to see some of the most insane coins and currency. I asked the guys to bring in their favorite or most expensive coins to show them off. Most of the coins and currency in this video are not for sale and are in the personal collections of the people in the coin shop. If you like rare coins, gold coin, silver coins, and expensive coins then this is the video for you! It is always cool to learn about the history of old coins and the value as well from a coin dealer. I had a great time seeing these rare coins and hearing about why they were selected. I enjoy coin collecting and seeing coins that I probably would have never seen before. Harry's coin shop is a fun place to hang out and I always enjoy my trips there. Collecting isn’t always about value sometimes it’s about sentimental or personal value. It’s important to remember that
Well said man!
That is correct! I have a nice collection and my favorite coin is an 1853 Large Cent my grandfather gave me over 30 years ago.
@@rogerbarker2231 What you collect is not price, it’s true love
And important to know a collection is much different than an investment..
but you know Harry's got some WILD stuff at home. Very humble of him
My grandmother told me about the old 20 dollar bills, they used to call them horse blanket notes, now I see why I never saw one in person before.
yeah they are super big! 🔥🐉
@silverdragon47 i have something to ask if ther is a legit $500 million dollar coins in department of treasury in america that has a series of 1789
As a recent novice stacker, I'm so glad I found this channel. My stack is only 11 ounces so far, but, I've learned so much over the last few months. I love these Harry's Coin Shop episodes & the Stack Like a Pro series with Yankee Stacker. I can't get enough!
I FOLLOW A FEW OF THESE SILVER/GOLD BULLION CHANNELS AND PETER SCHIFF ALSO LYNETTE ZANG!👍👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I know right! :)
awesome stack on! 🔥🐉
11oz.!! Keep stackin’…
Yes good sharing ❤️
This is one of my favorite episodes! Such fun hearing about treasure hunting & the glee. THANK YOU to ALL.
it was one of my favorites as well! 🔥🐉
Yes.....Great Episode!!!!!❤❤❤
I love these guys. Great stories and seeing the pride they have in their collections is wonderful.
I agree they are great guys! 🔥🐉
I agree too. I love how wholesome these videos are and I think the only thing that would have topped the video off is if@@SilverDragons47 brought his 3 favourite coins along :)
Loved the "show and tell". Interesting that aluminum was rare and a precious metal back in the 1860's.
In 1845, he was able to produce small pieces of the metal and described some physical properties of this metal. For many years thereafter, Wöhler was credited as the discoverer of aluminium. As Wöhler's method could not yield great quantities of aluminium, the metal remained rare; its cost exceeded that of gold…..I was curious so I looked up the history of aluminum.
All I can say is wow! Thanks so much all of you at Harry’s for showing us this. What a great collection you guys!
I am not a collector but has always loved history. The older mans story about the coin his father found moved me. It also remined me about the time my father found a piece of amber along the beach in Sweden. I had just read about how important amber was during the nordic broze age and then i held a piece of the real deal. Those moments connect you througth time. I have no idea how I got this video in my feed but im glad to be reminded of that day. I wish you all the best.
yeah it was touching I think Harry teared up a bit. great memories! 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 yeah that was definitely a special moment.
Where did it move you too?
Rigth behind you. I see all the weird stuff that you dont want other people to know, And I judge you for it.@@billsmith130
Harry's favorites are my favorite. Love the story about his dad finding the Roman copper!!
for sure such a great story! 🔥🐉
I love how excited they are to show off they’re collection. 👏👏
The color on that $20.00 gold note was pretty stellar. Most historical notes I'm not too big of a fan of, but that was very cool.. and so was the $500.00 note. Woof.
The bronze Roman coin is really cool as well. I have a Byzantine coin with an icon of Christ on it, graded and slabbed by NGC. I didn't pay very much for it, but glad to have it. There's a few other NGC "Ancients" that are on my bucket list with icons of Christ on them, mostly gold.
That magenta colored Morgan was fantastic as well! Dare I ask what that went for??
I mostly collect US coinage. My favorite is the 1901 MS65 NGC slabbed $20.00 Gold Liberty. I have an MS63 1907 as well. I don't really "like" silver per se, but I do have several in my collection. Lots of Morgans (mostly toned), and several Peace dollars. The Peace dollars are probably my favorite of silver coins (aside from the crimson/purple toned Morgan) out of the bunch, because it inspired the Two Face silver dollar in the Batman movies.
Too bad I live on the East coast; otherwise, I'd probably be down at your shop... every day. :))
My grandpa had some really interesting currency in his collection. I know he had some confederate money from the civil war. I seem to remember him also having a $500 bill. Was there ever a $1000 bill? I think he might have had one.
@@yankees29 yes, they used to have $1000 bills in the mid/late 1970s. My best friend worked all summer in 1975, saved up his money, then took out a $1000 bill, went to a motorcycle shop and bought a brand new Suzuki RM125 with it.
@@Paul205X0 interesting. My grandma sold his whole collection when he died in the mid 90’s. Wish I had it still 🤦
Awesome hearing Harry's story about his dad finding that coin. What a great memory. Thank you for sharing it Harry. Very nice collections everyone.
Shame the guy is a zionist.
Again, another great video with Harry and the Team!
yes for sure! 🔥🐉
Let’s get more of Richard going down the rabbit hole of foreign coins!
haha I agree we need more!!! 🔥🐉
I agree. I enjoy collecting foreign currency(coins). Got all of it from people either spending the coins or putting them through a coin machine (ie., Coinstar) and leaving them behind.
Yes 💯
Always love a video at Harry's. Love the passion that these guys have for their collections. There is something out there for everyone. Very cool.
Today I finished my first roll of silver and now own 25 Krugerrands!
Thanks for your help SD. I've also managed a little gold and even some platinum!
I like watching some of these videos but I know me all too well - I'm not a collector either and have found it impossible to save money via other methods yet I love to shop and buy stuff. Stacking and I were meant to be together. ❤️
that is super awesome keep on stacking!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🐉
I love these guys, I don’t own any silver, but these are genuine guys that are knowledgeable and I always enjoy when you visit this shop.
you should go buy your first ounce 👍🏽 you gotta start somewhere 🔥🐉
I really like Harry's. The guys are great on camera and Harry is such a nice and helpful guy. I wish I had a Harry in my town.
Thanks for bringing those in and sharing them with us!
I absolutely love these coin store guys… great collaboration of videos
Great group of guys, thanks for sharing.
Absolute great video, really enjoy seeing what other collectors have, and cherish! Not to mention, very educational. 👍
for sure I learned so much! 🔥🐉
Love the guys at the shop there, especially Richard. His knowledge and personality are great.
That King of coins book is awesome!
These guys are outstanding!
Great post!
It was wonderful to hear Harry and the others talk so enthusiastically about their coins and currency. You can tell they aren’t just sellers but appreciate the hobby.
This was my favorite coin video I have ever seen, I want to see more collections.
Not a coin collector. I stack. I only look at silver/gold content. Having said that, this episode was very interesting because it showed the other side. A lot of history, both from a global position to personal positions. Coin collecting is a rabbit hole I refuse to go down, but enjoy what other people do.
I love the history! 🔥🐉
@Threedog1963 I do both!
I'm like 50/50
You might have something with a lot of numismatic value on top of the gold/silver value. Definitely worth getting things checked by a pro
Oh my what a timing. I log on the pc and there's a new Harry's Coin Shop video! Wooooo
Love seeing the personal collections, y’all have some gorgeous pieces!
Love all your shows! This one is one of the best! Harry's coin shop and all his help are the best!
Very cool episode Silver Dragons. Probably my favorite one thus far. Good job guys 👍🥇🥈🥈🥈🥇🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈🥇
I started my younger brother collecting silver back in the early 90's, instead of giving him a present for his birthday and Christmas, I would stop at the coin shop and buy him a troy ounce round, over the last 20 years he has built a nice collection.
Loved this video.I enjoyed seeing the other side of the guys. Harry's coin stories moved me the most, but I did see the passion the others had also for their special coins too.
Nice Coin/Note Collections!!!!
I love your visits here. Such cool group. Very knowledgeable.
I loved Harry's selection. The value of the coins being the sentiment behind them far outweighed their actual monetary value. A good man.
I love Harry's "hobby" coins. As a Jew and a Californian i really resonated with those!
A great video! Things like an aluminum sample coin from the times when that metal was expensive are really fascinating! Please do more videos about collecting, you know some fantastic people to cooperate with on that topic.
really love these guys. wish they were closer. if i’m ever out that way again, im definetly stopping by there. keep these videos coming. i really enjoy every video with these guys. thanks to you and them
I think this was one of the most entertaining episodes on the channel
Wonderful personal collections from Harry's LCS. Thank you for sharing.

I really enjoy this channel. You guys seem genuine. A store I’d like to visit some day.
Harry can't help himself. He even collects his regulars :D
I’m currently shopping for a t1 standing. Absolutely beautiful image and a great back story. Not to mention, my wife embodies everything that is lady liberty
Very interesting, and extremely educational. Thanks for bringing us back to school.
Brilliant and moving! Thanks to the crew for their stories and their passion!
I wish I lived near Harry's Coin Shop. They are my favorite RUclips featured coin shop!
These guys are so nice, and the subject of the video is so wholesome. It makes me smile.
One of Your best Shows yet...really Enjoyed the Show
Sooo much knowledge from these guys!!❤
Nice collections . Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed Harry's stories- proves some things are priceless to them .
I dont even collect coins or bullions. And dont watch any content related to it however this popped up and ive been hooked on harrys shop in particular. I absolutely love the vibes! Not to take anything away from you but harry needs his own channel.
Fun discovery. Exactly why I enjoy coins and stamps from a child to adult !
Just starting watching. Love it!!!
Thank you for the reminder Harry, coin collecting is meant to be fun. Relax and enjoy the hobby
theres this really weird connection that i feel to coin people. like i've been a coin collector for as long as i can remember and something watching these vids feels like im hangin out with friends
Such neat collections! Very cool of them to share!
Always love videos shot in Harry's
Love this show..can you have them do it with bars next?
Amazing video!! Thank you to all of you.
Absolutely Amazing Coins. Great Showing.
Harry's like the Uncle of Grandfather everyone needs. :)
Dude classic proofs will ALWAYS be much more interesting to me than any bullion. Love that shield nickel PR. I have one as well but mine is also a Cameo appearance.
This was great! Thanks all.
That was a great little coin show. Thanks~
Incredibly interesting, nice work
Love the coin shop episodes.
The Japanese dragon silver coin from the 3rd year of the Meiji era has the most beautiful layout. The dragon and the sun are realized on the silver coin at the same time. AU92 is about 190~250 usd.
But this is the market price in Taiwan
I now realized that I have one of these coins and in complete shock 🎉 that it’s a possibility that mine could sell for an amazing amount 😮
Fantastic collections guys. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
As a world coin and note collector, I appreciate your collections..Lovely people..
Brilliant video, as a Brit I would never have known about most of what has been shown.
Really loved the notes!
Keep doing what you do 👍
Thank you for this episode. It quite reminds me of my G-Pa, my Dad's Dad, telling us kids about parts of his collection. 😢←happy crying
Around 1970 I worked at the Navy Exchange mail order warehouse in Yokohama, Japan. I was told the building had housed the first modern mint in Japan. The area had been developed in the 1860-90 era. So I think the 1 yen coins may have been minted there.
WOW! I knew these Coin Nerds were COOL! This just made them Rock Stars status in my book!
Great idea! Love this video!
Great video!!! I actually went in there to show them a couple things i just got in that i was excited about a little while after you left and Adrian was showing me those coins. Beaverton show and tell day 🤣
Last dude clearly had the best most valuable coins. Good for him. His coins are epic
Just beautiful
I live in caesarea where old man found the roman coin. I found plenty here as well. the biggest lot of gold coins ever found was here too a few years back. i remember talking to a cab driver in my teens telling me there are a bunch of coins still out there and always wanted to go look for em. a few men a few years later found a massive gold coin lot of ancient coins. i bet there are still thousands around here.
If I ever head over to oregon. Ill be sure to stop buy. It will be fun to meet these guys maybe I can get a silver coin and an autograph.
That Judd-636 is more in the value range of $4500 to $5500 in today’s market. But still an awesome piece.
Those chop marks are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic coin collections really enjoyed variety and stories and value’s behind the coins / bills ❤
Richard is awesome. I think he is my favorite part of this channel.
Very interesting. Thanks Guys.
I want to be friends with Richard. I am always fascinated by people obsessed with their passion.
The favorites in my miniature collection are the 2: $3.00 bills.
The US government never made $3.00 bills, but a few banks did back in the day. They are only printed on one side, from two different banks in different states.
My other top picks are my two bit note and $0.15 notes. These are about 1/4 the size of a regular bill.
This is something I wish more RUclips stackers would do. Show off their prized possessions and why. Plus price and value.
I just found and subscribed, learn something new everyday.😊
Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing with us.
