I've always had a headcanon that the Paldea E4 is actually one of the strongest in the world thanks to Terastalization, and can go toe in toe with champions from other regions. Imagine Poppy absolutely destroying Diantha's Mega Gardevoir with Tinkaton.
The strongest region overall is Galar. The Paldea Elite 4 actually canonically loses more than every other Elite 4, since they are a way to graduate into a higher rank, rather than becoming the top trainer. Reminder that Sada and Turo are Hall of Famers and Champions just like Nemona.
@@RoyalWreckingBall Yeah but we never see their actual teams or know anything about what they used or their battle style. Their AIs use mons freshly captured from the machine, and they're separate entities anyway.
I wonder if Poppy is connected to Glitterati. They have the exact same encounter theme. It might explain how she, a 4 year old, became an Elite Four member: Her Pokemon were either trained by them or bought by them, & then they bought a spot in the Elite Four for her, presumably from Geeta.
Indigo Disk reveals the truth. She's nine; schooling age in Paldea. But she didn't want to go to school because she was already so good with Pokemon that she was worried that her classmates would be scared around her. Her position was not bought, she impressed Geeta enough to earn it.
I'm all for a child prodigy and stuff, but she's depicted as so innocent and young, I just feels like she was just handed strong pokemon by someone else to have fun with
That was my thought exactly. It's like someone gave her a rental team they had - rika most likely - and she told the pokemon to humor her no matter how silly or unwise she was being. She's the rich kid given too much power too young. Now that I think about it, I'd be cool if she and ortega (team star fairy boss) were related. Family troubles on top of the bullying? Being showed up so soundly by the little toddler the parents clearly favored over their firstborn would leave anybody with some issues
Honestly what would’ve made this extra hillarious is if she was at the same level as difficult as other infamous opponents like Whitney, Valerie or even Ghetsis
Child: -exists- Some people apparently: "I don't understand the loli thing man. Japan's weird." It's... it's just a young character... not to mention that dude is playing as a female trainer... which would also be a child...

I love how even in the wildly low adult age of 11/10 in the Pokemon world, that Poppy is still child labor. God help whoever tries to exploit her when she's this young, because once she realizes that she was, like a lot of child Hollywood stars, musical savants, and RUclipsrs, "'Rajah, smush 'em" is going to be a lot less "friendly competition" and more "deadly comeuppance."
apparently she´s too strong so she dresses cute so people aren´t scared of her, Geeta gave her a spot on the elite four because she was afraid of going to school
The fact that her name is Poppy and her signature Pokemon is a tiny gremlin with a giant hammer. Now every time I see her, I think of Poppy from League of Legends as a Pokemon trainer and it makes me chuckle.
14:29 They didn't properly read what people say, Nemona is the youngest champion level trainer so she was the youngest trainer to beat the elite four, Poppy isn't a champion level trainer because she's in the elite four which is just below champion
“Wow that’s super strong for a small child.” Well now you know how all the champions of previous games felt when a 10 year old walks in and beats their whole team.
For a 9 year old she is so strong that Geeta and the Pokémon League wanted to nurture her growth and knowledge of battling and Pokémon that they would give her a position in the Elite Four.
The fact a 4 year old is better than like 99% of the trainers in the region, could be considered embarrassing for those older than her, imagine losing to a 4 year old your ego would be smashed to bits
Was anyone else not surprised? I mean Scarlet and Violet embraced more anime cliches than any of the other games, maybe I was momentarily surprised in my head for a second until I thought, “Yeah that tracks.”

And then they have to quite once they are 20. But obviuosly we know she's not older than that, lol
poppy is 9 and i think that acerola is around 12 years old so poppy is the youngest elite four by three years
Acerola is older, though.
One of two reactions
1. Aww she's so adowable
2. Isn't there child labor laws or something?
I mean she is strong if she has both Corviknight and Tinkaton on the same team-
She won't tolerate them fighting amongst each other.
They have tea parties together
Talk about child prodigy...
When i saw her i was like: PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS PLEASE
The thumbnail definitely looks like the perfect 3v3 in more ways than one.
I've always had a headcanon that the Paldea E4 is actually one of the strongest in the world thanks to Terastalization, and can go toe in toe with champions from other regions.
Imagine Poppy absolutely destroying Diantha's Mega Gardevoir with Tinkaton.
It would have to take place in Paldea for that to happen though
The lovey dovey couple also has her theme when you talk to them in Kitaksmi.
Indigo Disk reveals the truth. She's nine; schooling age in Paldea. But she didn't want to go to school because she was already so good with Pokemon that she was worried that her classmates would be scared around her. Her position was not bought, she impressed Geeta enough to earn it.
I'm all for a child prodigy and stuff, but she's depicted as so innocent and young, I just feels like she was just handed strong pokemon by someone else to have fun with
Literally she hasn’t existed long enough to train Pokémon up like that lol
@@razrv3lc In the game you can grind pokemon up to level 100 in a week.
@@ShadowSkyX that's an interesting theory, now I kinda want to see them interact
Well, she's getting her own event in Pokémon Masters EX where she has Tinkaton, so hopefully we get more of an explanation there.
Crushes your heart and soul...
...without letting go of her sippy cup.
“Elite Four?! But she’s only four!!”
Not true. According to ‘The Indigo Disk’, she’s 9.
@@bluecrossovers it was a joke.
@@bluecrossovers i thought the dlc takes place a year or two after the main game’s story?
@@Yzzami Nope.
Honestly what would’ve made this extra hillarious is if she was at the same level as difficult as other infamous opponents like Whitney, Valerie or even Ghetsis
Valerie is infamous?
1:07 bro turned into Kermit
"Oh, jesus christ is that a fucking gremlin!?"
"No, im an elite four member!"
"Whatever. just nobody feed that fucking thing after midnight."
Love the Deandra quote lol

Poppy: The Elite 4 year old
Poppy and Larry:The unexpected 2
I could see them doing like a sequel game and instead of Larry, the Math Teacher Tyme, would be an Elite Four member.
Yea, cause Larry will be the new Champion 👑
I wonder if Mr fruit knows ríka is a woman 😂
Pretty sure like 95% of people thought that at first I know I did until the only 1 point in the story where it tells you she's female
@@atomic_hok Doesn’t she straight up say it the first time you meet her?
@@Void_Out I don't think so but I can't remember for sure
@@Void_OutHassel said it
Rika: but would you lose?
Poppy: Nah, I'd win.
According to Indigo Disk, she's nine.
In america, you play against poppy.
In soviet playtime co. Poppy plays with you
I want poppy to meet Anya forger so bad
Child: -exists-
Some people apparently: "I don't understand the loli thing man. Japan's weird."
It's... it's just a young character... not to mention that dude is playing as a female trainer... which would also be a child...
When I discovered Poppy was one of the E4 I immediately assumed she was a ghost trainer who died young and refused to pass on.
Only a year after release do I realize that I swept her steel types so fast that I never internalized she was, in fact, a regular child.
She's only 9 years old.
Let that sink in.
9 years old and already an elite four member, it makes me wonder how powerful Poppy will become when she grows up
I love how even in the wildly low adult age of 11/10 in the Pokemon world, that Poppy is still child labor. God help whoever tries to exploit her when she's this young, because once she realizes that she was, like a lot of child Hollywood stars, musical savants, and RUclipsrs, "'Rajah, smush 'em" is going to be a lot less "friendly competition" and more "deadly comeuppance."
Ngl, I'd wanna actually see that happen.
Its weird that they dont even explain how shes part of the elite 4. Everyone else treats it like a literal job that theyre paid for
apparently she´s too strong so she dresses cute so people aren´t scared of her, Geeta gave her a spot on the elite four because she was afraid of going to school
"Go on, Rajah! Smush 'em!"
The hell is Cocomelon doing to kids these days
Well kids have always have violent tendencies 🤣🤣🤣
i find the results disappointing, i was hoping there'd be more people being surprised by the reveal
To be fair, she kinda outed herself as an E4 before the E4 so it kinda has less impact when you actually fight her.
Yeah, almost all of them are more surprised Larry is one of the elite four than Poppy being one of the elite four lmao
Poppy, putting the 4 in "Elite 4"
Even though she's 9
I'm sorry the "huh?... The toddler?" was the sweetest most confused reaction I've seen to Poppy!
She has potential.
If a child can catch literal Gods in other Pokemon games, of course one could be an Elite Four member.
Dude. Bae's voice really fits Poppy
Never had I been so distinctly mad that a BABY got into the Elite Four before we all did
Who gave the kindergartener the giant metal elephant bruh 💀
The fact that her name is Poppy and her signature Pokemon is a tiny gremlin with a giant hammer.
Now every time I see her, I think of Poppy from League of Legends as a Pokemon trainer and it makes me chuckle.
The Poppy slander shouldn't be tolerated
14:29 They didn't properly read what people say, Nemona is the youngest champion level trainer so she was the youngest trainer to beat the elite four, Poppy isn't a champion level trainer because she's in the elite four which is just below champion
The moment I saw her I was “that’s an entire gremlin, I am gonna punt her team to oblivion” LMAO
“Wow that’s super strong for a small child.” Well now you know how all the champions of previous games felt when a 10 year old walks in and beats their whole team.
They let anyone become Elite Four members these days, smh
Next you know it'll be Mewtwo and its last Pokémon is itself
10:27 if you see a little girl and it weirds you out then I think you´re the one with a problem here
I love the larry cut off reactions
What if Poppy was a steel type specialist as a reference to the common use of child labor during the industrial revolution?
Its funny, i thought she would use fairy types to, really threw me off when Copperajah came out
The Three Reactions
Unfazed;
I KNEW IT!!; and
I'm one the Eli- Excuse Me?!
i'm was less surprised that she was one of the elite 4 and more surprised that she is just 1 year younger than ash
Well Ash can probably age now that he's not the main protagonist of the anime
It's your turn MR LARRY??? 😂
If she Said its Been a “long time” Since she has called Mr Larry, it either means people usually Only got to Rika or Poppy is just that strong
Can't imagine how lobg it took you to make this, this is brilliant 🎉
Aww!☺ How could Poppy have risen to the rank of Elite Four? You got to be kidding. Literally.
For a 9 year old she is so strong that Geeta and the Pokémon League wanted to nurture her growth and knowledge of battling and Pokémon that they would give her a position in the Elite Four.
Wouldve been so much better for Rika to not have confirmed it in the first conversation. Just make you wonder whether this child was joking or not.
I like how some of the reactions are with the fixed version of the E4 battle theme, and some are with the bugged 5-second loop lol
I love how more people are more surprised to see Larry over hearing about Poppy.
The fact that only one of them read it as "Cooming"
0:43 I could practically see that double take, damn
The new Cynthia in the making right here .
This is the equivalent of the Phoenix Wright lawyers who don't even look old enough to attend law school, but have already somehow become a lawyer
If one streamer said terastillization would knock her on her butt, I would how poppy would do with dynamax
... Poppy is 9 years old.
So who do you think Poppy's related to? Darach? Wikstrom?
Imagine how much of a monster she is when she's grown up and full of battle experience, she might be even become canonically stronger then Cynthia
3:50 Yeah, about that...
Did we all forget about Acerola and Alaster?
