Make sure you get warm int1 before the bike. I made the mistake I cold conditions and couldn't warm up which resulted in a dnf.

No matter what happens at this race, all that is left now is to take a victory lap for triumphing over all the adversity you have faced this year Lucy! I’ve said it before and will say it again, u have already won just being there! I know you credit your team a lot, & they have been incredible, but your drive, dedication, tenacity, grit, determination & grace through all that has happened this year has been truly incredible & inspiring to watch. I always think its funny hearing the pros talk about "ahh 70.3 is short so we need intensity for that speed" meanwhile for a lot of people it will be a day long endurance challenge!

I'm sure you are keeping an eye on this (and I am no expert) but you mentioned one of the causes of your stress fracture was some internal rotation of your left foot. In the running footage it seemed like you were still doing this.

Someone explain to me why they train on the side of the road on a busy St. George street and not the designated smooth asphalt trails for runners and bikers that go for over 100 miles around St. George? I’ve been here for 5 years and it’s the same every year. 2 men got hit by a drunk person last year. I just don’t see the point in training on the side of busy roads when there are perfectly smooth trails to train in.. and they are empty right now with the iron man coming up in a few days. Also the next person from Canada or France that hands me a pissed on bike to fix “right away cause I’ve got a race”. 🤦🏼♂️ Can’t make this shit up. So entitled over a dumb race. Do not hand another human your urinated on bike.
