What do you see as the brokerage model of the future; is everyone going virtual like eXp Realty or going the discount model like Purplebricks, Redfin, etc?
I have burning question - since I use an autoresponder with my leads, would it be a great/awful idea to offer a link to schedule an appointment see that/any/some house(s)? (obviously i have to confirm with the client and seller of house)

Hey Tom. Question for those in the Canadian market. We are not allowed to call expired listings or 95% of FSBO’s since they are listed as mere postings with brokerages. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hey guys! I'm in Alberta... Nice to see fellow Canadians on here! I've got a couple tips on how to get around that rule here in Canada and still "target" expired listings from both Calling and Door Knocking.
Out of statistics what age is the best to start getting into realty? I’m 24 and interested in starting a career in realty just not sure if I will be taken seriously since I am younger than most successful realtors I know.
Tom, in your opinion, with all the marketing, videos, social media posts, etc that we realtors do daily, is cold calling (just listed/sold) now ineffective? Is our time best spent on doing all the marketing and focusing our daily prospecting on fsbo's, expired's and PC/COI?
I think there should still be a solid balance between this. It's always important to stay consistent with the fundamentals like the just listed / sold in the event of FSBOs and Expires slowing down... That way you've got a solid pipeline !

Hey Tom! I am thinking about learning the real estate basics before signing on with a brokerage. I want to make facebook videos about my learning process. Then, when I feel I have some attention, I want to sign on with a brokerage. This would help me keep my costs low while still learning real estate agent basics. What are some things that you look for in brokerages to help new agents waste little money or what can they do to help new agents in other ways? Thanks!
Grant Keller I would just get licensed and meet with brokers. Creating a ton of content about your “pre” selling experience, feels like a waist of time (imo). Just get in, get started. The story of the first year - that’s more interesting. Thoughts?
Gotcha. My main concern is the bills up front and the length of time it might take to make money. I understand though it would be a better story by telling the "first year," experience. Last time I started, I went with Keller Williams right away and it was extremely helpful to have supportive agents all around me to help with questions. Thank you for your feedback. I'll definitely start meeting with the brokers in my area.
what's your experience so far with the Keller williams team? I'm thinking of signing with them for my area too but when i sent a mail i got a response from them via the 'wright brothers realtor' .do they connect you directly with a broker? preciate your response if you can
