Many people tend to put their weight on the scooter stem (handlebars) while riding. This is the number thing that can cause breakage in many scooters. Many people also fail to adjust the screws/bolts regularly(this goes for every scooter) No maintenance and rough riding can cause these issues. The first of the M4 Pros did actually have stem issues where it was placed, but that was years ago and was addressed in the next batches. Nice review as always. 👌 I used some thick o rings to dampen the front suspension. I also thought of a way to put air shocks on the front forks. I'm currently waiting for some stainless steel bars that I can modify to accept the shocks.
I been through 3 of these scooters. Lasted me about 1,500 total miles I believe. Until the welds broke at the steering stem. I believe the problem is that it's so difficult to unfold the scooter so it puts a lot of pressure at the welds. I found the blinker to be useful because of the beeping sound it makes. Some times I don't like to use the horn, and usually people don't pay attention to the horn. But they do hear the small beeping sound from the blinker. And then I had the g2 or something. The 1,000-1,200 watt motor from kugoo. The speed controller burns out. I been through 3 speed controllers within a month. The circuit board doesn't have enough metal to handle the power going through so it burns right up on the PCB.
The first batch had issues with the stem. This was addressed as far as I’m aware on the latest versions like the one I have. No matter what scooter I’ve had, I’ve always tried to be careful and not to pull/push to much weight on stem. The horn on mine stopped working but I just used the electronic one I have. G2 I’ve never had but as far as controllers go, I would apply thermal tape around the controllers to help prevent too much heat from being generated. I done this on the M4 Pro (video is in the playlist) I have the Varla Eagle One and the controller blew on that. So many scooters can have this happen. Either way i hope your next scooter goes great for you.

It makes me wonder if something happened to yours that is limiting it's capabilities... 🤔 Is yours maybe pre limited for your countries laws or something? I dunno, it's prob not but just a thought. I also covered the RGB lights with tape. I agree, they're just too much attention. Other than those things, it's been great. I have about 500 miles on mine, so it's broken in a little. So idk if I'm just lucky or what? 😂 Knocking on wood right now... I also got some silicone goo to waterproof most of what I could. The thing has been a game changer for me. For punctures, just replace your wheels with solid tires...you'll thank me for that. As for your suspension, what I did is wrap a bungee cord preferrable not too thick and just the right amount in diameter and insert that cord between the coils of your spring and wrap it again with electrical tape (I used black to blend the color of the tape and the spring and mudguard) tightly and there you go.
Had many scooters with solids. Definitely don’t like them. No grip, wet weather riding is very dangerous, wear and tear on the scooter over time. Since I changed the tyres, no issues. Suspension mod I done helped but could be better. Good scooter overall for the price.
There has got to be a way to unplug the motor I’d think so might void warranty but still I’d probably even remove the solder and replace it after cause I’d rip it out and screw it up trying to change the tire
You can open the deck and disconnect it from the controller/battery. BUT, it’s a very tight spot and will more than likely give you a headache putting everything back together. Just be careful and take your time replacing the tyre, after 5 times, you become a pro haha

@@Movelectrics Silly question perhaps, my M4 Pro has the split rim design for the rear wheel, so I can remove tyres/inner tubes more easily. I have been thinking of buying a kugoo g2 max, but ive checked some ratings and they all say they have terrible customer service and scooters breaking in 2 weeks. Your kugoo seems to be holding up
Your right about the terrible customer service. My Q06Pro was dead after 1 mile and I have been trying to get a replacement for 3 months now. They are still not compliant with my problem. Stay away from Kugoo!!!
Can you provide some context around your issue? I absolutely loved my M4 Pro. I think also wherever you buy a scooter from, has to have decent customer service. Got mine from Geekbuying (linked in description)
@@Movelectrics you would normally buy it new from either Alibaba or from a store. But i got mine second hand with modifications and improvements from the previous user like hydraulic brakes, different handlebars, grips and other details. The problem of mine is that it weighs about 33kg and the locking mechanism is trash since the last user tightened it so much that he bent the locking piece (it can be replaced or bent back) but now it has a little wobble which is annoying.
@@Movelectrics yeah, I'll probably go somewhere to weld the folding mechanism. It makes no sense to put something so flimsy and sensible on a premium heavy and big scooter.

@@Movelectrics In my country, the M3 is still available in a few online stores. Today I ordered it, and tomorrow I'll pick it up. It's true that it costs around 515 GBP, a little higher than the official price... but I found it. I ordered 2 M3 models. I'll use it mostly for track riding, definitely not off-road. It seems more minimalist to me... so fewer parts that can break (in my opinion). It's somewhat better compared to the M4 Pro, isn't it? A range of 40 km is sufficient for me.
I reviewed the C1 Pro also. Both are very similar weight limits. A dual motor scooter is great for more power. Varla Pegasus I had or the Varla Eagle One. More expensive but more torque.
update on my comment: just hit 931 miles with only one problem at around the 900 mark and that was just a rear puncher, upgraded both front and back tyres when i repaired the rear flat. one thing i did at 500miles too was change the handle bars because i was constantly having to tighen them. my opinion its a very good scooter for the price and if you look after it itll last
This scooter is a pile of trash. Cheap materials, bad brakes, not much power and range. I had punctures, loose handlebars, steering collumn locking up while riding and it even just stopped accelarating once while riding and had to unplug the electeonic brake and therefore disabling my rear light because water damaged it. I have also seen tons of people posting pictures of their steering collumn just snapping in half. Do NOT buy this scooter if you care about your life. I would highly suggest saving a couple more buck and spending it on a more reliable scooter or looking for a better option in this price range.
Hi Hesley I talk about the brakes, punctures, loose handlebars in the video. Easily addressed. I also talk about the first batch of this scooter and the stem itself. I think one of the main problems is people don’t keep on top of maintenance. Checking weekly, not pulling/pushing on the stem with force etc. All said we all have our different opinions but best of luck with your next scooter. I personally really did like this scooter and for the price it’s actually quite decent. Ride safe ⚡️
I had a similar experience with this scooter, at 36 miles the steering broke and nearly flipped me off at 25mph. I upgraded to the G booster and love it! The build quality is really good and feels solid at 30mph, it has more settings and the torque is insane! No looking back.. G booster flies up hill the M4 was slow and struggled with small incline. The G booster may cost more but it so much better! Definitely not for kids wayyy to much torque
I also reviewed the G-booster. Good torque BUT those handlebars are very low unless you ride seated. I also found the stability not great plus the brakes are standard mechanical. The weight of it was another thing I didn’t like. But glad to hear you are happy 👊🏼
@@Movelectrics It was your video that actually got me to get one. I recall you saying you had one that had done quite alot of mileage perhaps it needed servicing.. Luckily there has been no issue with the handle bars height for me and the others that have used it. The first thing people say when they ride my g booster is how balanced it feels due to the wider deck and better more solid folding mechanism, with 0 stem wobble. I do agree about the breaks, at the same time my friends wolf king Gt pro also has poor breaks, and that cost over 3,200. For the money you get a brilliant scooter with the g booster. I don't recall you speaking about the p settings, you can change the gearing and go from 12amps to 20 which makes the acceleration much faster and makes you appreciate the weight of the scooter, as it holds nicely with the high torque its well designed to handle with the necessary weight. I've had a new m4 pro and was shocked by the low quality parts, the g booster is a beast, but m4 pro is a budget scooter and more suited to people that don't enjoy a high torque scooter that will get you to top speed quickly. Thanks for the inspiration :)

I just released the G2 Max video so I suggest you watch that ruclips.net/video/Kf2b7dXCIWE/видео.htmlsi=6OThSSxTYVqvxnMG
750 km with m3 and almost two months...still working. Amazing scooter!!! @@Movelectrics best choice. Minimalist and functional!
c1 bogo or m4 pro??? im a heavier person ;)
I reviewed the C1 Pro also. Both are very similar weight limits. A dual motor scooter is great for more power. Varla Pegasus I had or the Varla Eagle One. More expensive but more torque.
They sell mtb calipers that fit BTW
just hit 400 on my 18ah m4 pro
Great to hear ⚡️
update on my comment:
just hit 931 miles with only one problem at around the 900 mark and that was just a rear puncher, upgraded both front and back tyres when i repaired the rear flat. one thing i did at 500miles too was change the handle bars because i was constantly having to tighen them.
my opinion its a very good scooter for the price and if you look after it itll last
This scooter is a pile of trash.
Hi Hesley
I talk about the brakes, punctures, loose handlebars in the video.
Hello, can you say an better Scooter than this for 530€ or cheap?
