It is no longer 90 days. You have to be a member for at least 180 days for any quick loans
They have changed the 90 day period to 160 days for the Quick Loan 😮2000$.
I love DCU, they've been my main institution for years. However, beware they did a hard pull on my Equifax in March 2023 for a CC. I was approved for $5k on a Visa Platinum. Side note, they used to give me monthly Fico score notifications but haven't been able to since I've suppressed the secondary credit bureaus. They reference Equifax not being able to verify the information to provide a credit score.
Curious what version of EQ they pull? Fico 4,5 or 9?
@@WalletMonkeys Not sure if they use it for every credit application, but I know they use FICO 4 for their free monthly credit monitoring.

Can you continually fund the savings acct with a credit card or is that just for the initial opening deposit?
low key you can keep doing it, this is true with most CUs, and it shows up as normal purchase not cash advance.

i believe CLI's after 10k are hard pulls which is most likely why you haven't seen a CLI since you got the card

@@WalletMonkeys so I accepted the offer for the platinum at 5000 and it's not just a card but a line of credit meaning you can pull the full amount as an advance. Also received the letter verifying card is on the way all this with a soft pull.

How do you go about funding the savings account with a credit card ?
when you are going through the setup, they literally allow you and give you a page to do it

Agh ok, no its all the time I jsut dont' know exactly where you go to do it. I would just call them and ask. how to depo more money into your savings from outside card

I just got approved for the Platinum Rewards Visa. But, I requested for the non rewards platinum visa d/t the lower interest rates. Besides, there are better cards with better rewards.
Odd they gave you a different card, what limit did you get?
@@WalletMonkeys I got $5,000. The DCU rewards could only be use at DCU website. What I love about this DCU CC is the no fees on anything.

Can you do DCU secured visa for like $1,500 loaded up without having to go thru w-2 , paystubs ? Then let it graduate in 12-18 months
Great question, can't remember if their secured graduates, probably better off running this play on like a NFCU (no POI/w2 questions there) but I would call them and ask if secured graduates if no one else chimes in here to answer better
