My 2004 Colorado has the issue of the passenger side rear brake light and turn signal do not work but the drivers side work just fine. Would this be a fuse issues, ground issue or where would i start to troubleshoot?
Not knowing for sure, I would start inside the taillight housing itself. See what's missing, upstream to power or downstream to ground. I don't think that circuit has a separate fuse per side, only the taillight/park light circuit does, but I could be wrong. I think if the left brake and turn work the right side should too (fuse wise). But again, I could be wrong. Hope this helps

@@jessemills-hz1tk ON my 05 there's a plastic box underneath on the driver's side where ground terminals run to. Take that box off and check for corrosion on the terminals. They run separate wires for the brake light - which seems odd but that's what my issue was.
My rear turn signals are not working nor the sound or light is coming inside the cab. Could it be a bcm problem?
Could be, but there are lot variables here. If it’s the 05 Colorado like I was working on, yes it could be. It could be a fuse, or the multi-function switch as well. There’s not enough info here to make that determination. Are the front signals working?
@@TiosAutoDiagnostics same issue here yes the front signals are working with no click sound and they blink fast when the rear, turn hazard fuse is reinstalled the right turn marker lights up solid. makes the click as it turns on and illuminates the right rear turn light solid, without illuminating the front light
The first comment I asked about the rear signals because there is a separate fuse for them as opposed to the front, but in your case it sounds like all the lights work until you activate the signals. In that case if the indicator lights are showing on the dashboard but some lights are blinking fast some are steady but all lights work, I would suspect a ground.

I would have probably looked into this guy had I known. I ended up getting one from Module Mechanics website. It was $700. Apparently all I have to do is plug and play but now I'm starting to get nervous that they didn't program it properly. Only one way to find out I guess lol
