wireless charging works flawlessly for my Galaxy S21 Ultra and my wife's iPhone 13 Pro. I think it's a matter of where the coil is in the ocean vs the phone.

I collected my Extreme just after Christmas 2023 from the main UK Fisker branded dealer. It’s VIN is in the 9000’s so one of the later ones so far as I know. I’m also getting fitter each time I drive mine as I also park away from anyone else as heaven knows what would happen if it got damaged.
Lots of the same problems you have accurately outlined are true for me. But I drove 60 miles today in horrendous rain and high winds then sun and hail - no issues at all. But I do switch off the lane guidance and over speed notifications to stop annoying chimes. My heating has a mind of its own on occasion and yes the audio lacks any depth at all. My steering wheel had some sticky lumps when I first picked it up and some cleaning was required around the wheel. I have an annoying rattle down near my fuse box (below the steering wheel) when I get above 60mph and an intermittent rattle from the rear view mirror grill - if I prod that it stops for a while. The passenger seat rattles when it’s vacant and somethings when it’s occupied. My phone was paired so I at least had a second way to open and activate the car - now since the app has been updated it won’t link at all.
I paid full whack for this car which I did really, really want to own but now I also hate it at times. You are absolutely correct in that I don’t really want to risk taking it anywhere too far away or say to the airport when I have a real deadline to meet. SW2.0 has helped but my trust has gone.
I desperately want the car to be supported and maybe, just maybe grow in capability. Heaven knows what my insurance will in 9 months time if the car is a failed vanity project.
Keep up the videos, even though you are clearly pissed off at finding yourself in this position I for one appreciate your work and opinions.

Thanks for your honest "walkthrough" and the daily life with the Ocean. It's such a shame how Henrik Fisker handled his business. The Ocean has a lot of potential to be a great car - ruined by poor management and decisions.
Just too early. Finish the car. Test the car. Break the car. Then fix it. Then sell it. Instead he sold it before any of those steps
So interesting to compare owner’s experiences.
I drive my FOE long distances every week. I only got OS2.0 today! And yet I’m still far more positive about the driving experience and less worried about it breaking than you.
Maybe as I’m in the UK it makes a difference? Service for me is I’m sure easier to access. We’ve also had none of this registration tag madness you guys have had to deal with either.
I do get in and turn off lane assist and speed limit audible warnings every drive (but this is the same for EVERY car sold in the EU/UK from 2023 onwards - I really hope the EU realises some of these mandates features are actually more dangerous turned on that off in some vehicles implementations soon!).
So long as OS4.0 does eventually get released I’ll be a very happy owner even with limited service (the community will work it out, just as they have with the Karma). The only real question will be if/how online services like remote lock/send destination to vehicle from the app can be maintained if/when Fisker in its current form ceases to trade. Hopefully by then NFC keys will remove the single key fob worry too.
I’m glad you are able to look past the fact that it’s like weeks left on the money, and that Fisker has ended all service center appointments (even for you in the UK.) there are so few being realistic about what it’s like to own a car with no support. Probably because it’s the first go around for most people.
@@Aslash304 as of today I have still seen people getting service centre support here in the UK. And my mobile tech and I still SMS regularly (last 2 days ago).
I get that it’s going to get more difficult soon, but doesn’t seem as bad as you just mentioned yet.

Hi Adam, I really appreciate your work and don't want to miss a video. I have an FOE with VIN over 9000 delivered in mid February and it's my prime car (have a cabriolet as well). I drive at least once a week from Graz to Vienna and back (about 400 km) and had no really issues until now. Yesterday I drove to Munich and back, which is 800 km. Maybe there are differences between the early produced cars to mine. Had never an issue with the 12V, had never a real issue with the key fob or the mud flaps (even after 8000 km). BUT - I really miss adaptive cruise and hope, they will do the promised updates. Good work and thank you for your thoughts and videos!

it actually looks a great drive ... looks cool from the inside....tinted sunroof looks great. ... nice and sunny where you are.... cold, grey and rainy here for the last few weeks in Ireland... Pity the software wasn't perfect from the start ... hope Fisker can get it 100% and still keep going as a company ..

I have the recycled matts and ordered the LinerX...I would recommend the LinerX to anyone over the recycled mats especially if you live in any area where it snows/rains. They fit perfectly and look great.
The phantom beeps are such a mystery. I check both screens and no visual indication, but it seems to happen to me when I am turning like Im close to hitting the curb or whatever it thinks Im about to hit. Cross a line perhaps?
One thing that maybe is just me, but the windows don't seem to have UV protected. I thought they were suppose to be. Being in high altitude and the sun beating down is something I definitely feel which I haven't felt in other cars.

I listen to your video until the end. I feel you. Having said that, a good test drive will have told you the car was not finished. I drive Tesla for 8 years and the first few years where not different...

FOO #2008. I’m on my 4th day of 0, that’s ZERO, beeps, alarms, alerts and cameras WORKING. lol, I keep coming home telling my wife like it’s a miracle and in some ways it is. I checked my software thinking it’s possible one of the 2.0 additions were added, but still says 2.0. Fingers crossed-

I think this is a question I haven't seen asked. When you get that Auto Emergency braking and blind spot monitor failure I think I saw a yellow warning on your dash and it happened on my test drive. But, question. I noticed on my test drive that the warning light message appeared and then disappeared and pretty rapidly. So, does that mean the failure was momentary and shortly after it's functional? It would be nice if a failure occurred were the system was deactivated that the warning message remained on telling you the system is fully disengaged. Now we are left to guess if the message provides a moments temporary failure and the system is now back on when the message vanishes. Or did that quick flash on the screen fully disable the system. I drive a BMW i3 and, in direct sunset, my adaptive cruise control shuts down as it's blinded. I get a message and a chime and it's very noticeable that the adaptive cruise is off. No doubt about it. I can either switch to regular cruise control or reengage the adaptive when the sun goes down or I am headed in a different direction. It's a bit of a pain BUT I know the status of the system.
It is my opinion that none of the systems are ever properly working. There is no data available to answer your question.

FYI, I believe the plugging the car in also initiates a 12V charging cycle. I say this because on occasion I see the charge rate into the battery drop by ~200W (~10A on 12V) for anywhere from 5-30 minutes. I believe it also heat the HV battery, when necessary, with a similar power drop. But, on occasions where the ambient is 75-90, I still see the ~200W drop, suggesting that it is not always the HV battery heating.

The volume thing is how it was for the first edition ioniq 5s. They since fixed the tuning and only have to turn it up to a quarter to get the volume I want. Before I was at 80% and barely got to the volume I like.

My iPhone12 charges flawlessly. The one click unlock .. hardly ever. I finally got the mis-aligned / broken vent. I still don't have a rear control panel that works. I have an interior light (rear right) that comes on by itself. The Audio is pretty great. Great lows and pretty good highs. I have v2.0 but the OS has some way to go and we still don't have CC.

Is it really regen? I see the brake pedal apply on its own when i let go of the accelerator.
I started noticing that with 2.0. It makes little sense. Nice that they added auto hold but you still have to push brake hard enough and long enough for it to engage. I finally had enough and traded for a new EV6 GT and everything works like it’s supposed to. I got 40k for my FOO and discounted new 2023 EV6 GT was 50k. No more love hate and anxiety.
Great Question: Regen and friction brakes feel different. The friction brakes are applied for hill hold. And at 100% the car still slows, so there’s probably a little friction braking going on. I have a feeling they will never tell us.
Does the acceleration and deceleration animations on the dash annoy you? Just curious cause I’ve heard mixed reviews
It’s going to come down to your tolerance level. Daytime they are not bad
I have a F00 #529. They've toned the dash lights down so i don't even notice it. Didn't bother me before.
I've been really happy with mine. Very few problems. Biggest has been the key fob battery. My iPhone 11 works well but i wouldn't leave home without my fob.

You should check the settings for GPS. Sometimes if you pass by traffic cams or traffic come up, it will beep to let you know hey something is up
Everything is turned off
I just came across another video that mentioned unknown alerts, and they figured out that it made an alert evertime the speed limit changed. So you might want to check and see if that is happening for you. I checked it out and it definitely did it for me. Let me know if that is what it is.

I have a Tesla by the way, and 2 other ICE cars which I will NEVER get rid of. I like the Ultra, and really want to get one. But I just don't think I'd be happy with my purchase, and if I try to sell it I'm TOAST. You sound very upset you bought this car, lol...I mean wow. I'll stick with Tesla

Hi Adam, sorry to trouble you - I have decided to sell my Ocean, I have left it on my drive for a week and someone has bought it from me and I have just gone to give it a little charge and it's completing dead, it will not unlocking and holding the key next to the car doesn't work either. No UK numbers seem to work to get any help, I have filled in the contact us form on the website but I fear either I am not going to get a reply or not in time....do you have any numbers that I call. I enjoy your content even though I don't own a Fisker. I was thinking about buying one for a hot second but then went with Tesla. However I drove past their office building in Manhattan Beach the other day and it seems shut down. I used to be able to see to see the upcoming models sitting in the lobby, but the glass doors are now covered by a gigantic Fisker sticker and all desks visible from the street seem empty. What a sad story this is. I loved the design, but I can't look away from the train wreck it has become. I feel for everyone who is now stuck with an unfinished car. I am sooooo sorry guys.

Absolutely with you Adam - just such a frustrating car that you don’t know what you’ll get on a daily basis. Did 230miles on Monday - no issues. Did a top-up charge then it went into a deep sleep for 20mins - I.e key fob wouldn’t work, no swipe entry etc. just had to cross my fingers and hope it would wake up! FFS, spent £60k on this car….

The 12V battery thing could be related to it not having the original battery. Check under the hood and see if the battery isn't some cheap battery from the auto parts store.

@@Aslash304 There's a Consumer Reports video that shows their "brand new" Ocean arrive with a Napa battery instead of the original one. Who knows if it's even the correct type and size? Obviously something they threw in to get the car out the door and to the customer. Otherwise they would have replaced it with a genuine OEM battery.

Hey Adam. JK from PA here.
I have the Extreme. I also have the same issues. In addition my car will not update from 1.11 to 2.0. I have had lip service from support. I appreciate their response but after multiple emails and conversations with support, I get told a service technician will call me.
My sunroof and California mode no longer functions. I had a soft reset and hard reset. The service department tried to remotely fix my roof. That did not work. The person on the phone with me said my ticket was sent to the technician.
Since that was the 3rd time I was turned over to the technician.
In a country with so many consumer protection agencies the fact that they let this car go to production tells me I can't trust a startup EV company.
Henrik is going to need a disguise. I cannot defend a shady business owner.
One thing I would like to know. Magna knew what kind of car they were building. Where is Magna? What part of the product were they responsible for?
I’ll work on a solution for you for 2.0. Magna offered to build 100% of everything. Then Fisker took a bunch of shortcuts. The result is in our driveways. If I hear anything on a technician I’ll reach out

I just want to set the expectation for EV. All EV's have issues and to be frank, there isn't any complex software out there that doesn't have issues.
I'm a FOO owner and those alerts are expected this is a digital sensor so, anytime there is rain or large amounts of light it will have some impact on the sensor and trigger the alarm.

I own a FOE and take it to work for 18 miles one way every day and my phone app does open and lock my doors, we all know that this was a new car company and it is giving the same issues that Tesla had when they first came out.

haha have a 36 year old car that I think has less rattles, and the seatbelt spring still works better, just needs a little nudge maybe. Then there's also the question of the environmental footprint of an EV that isn't being driven much. Of course, it's only green if it's driven high mileage and displaces a gas vehicle - preferably a gas vehicle with high carbon emissions (like keeps a gas vehicle from being made). So far I'm not convinced a new Fisker Ocean which has all kinds of question marks is greener than driving an old corolla.

IF you disconnect the 12V battery you're in for a world of tears. The whole vehicle needs to be recalibrated. Sigh. Best to just put a charger on it... if that doesn't blow it up....
