The man can talk! I'm glad I bought my Fisker Ocean from him two weeks ago. He was very up-front and "transparent" throughout my purchase experience. I love my Ocean and have had only minor issues that have mostly resolved on their own.
Great feedback! Thanks for sharing
I wish FISKER was this transparent to their customers.
I think Sean did a great job
Not gonna lie, I stopped/skipped half-way through and then went straight to the comments 😅
Well done
Thanks Sean for a realistic overview of current Fisker sales and service issues. I hope they survive and get better management in place.
Thanks for watching
Going to be honest. There were a lot of words in the interview but I don’t believe anything was said. Generally love your content but I think this one was a miss.
Thanks for the feedback
Did Hendrik Fisker talk because otherwise I believe whats been stated
When he started talking about how he doesn't like EVs, and Fisker is one of the few worth driving, I knew he was full of it.
@@Sqeptick You believe Hendrik?
@@shckltnebay I wouldn't do business with either of them.
I was also laid off the very following Monday like you Sean
I’m sorry to hear this,
@@Aslash304 unlike Sean I will bash the company without any shame. They intentionally sabotaged our careers after poaching us from stable jobs and they sabotaged their own company. Fuck them is my mantra. They treated us horribly on every level every manager imitated the absolute disrespectful ways of geeta and her c suite.
Not too much new informetion here necessarily, but Sean honestly seems somewhat positice as a whole on the brand. I know partially he needs to to sell cars, but even with the less than stellar recent news he still seens optimistic that the company could turn around with the right leadership (big if obviously)
I think it’s nice to get his perspective
I am an owner, love the car. I hope all gets resolved and stay around
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate it.
Good interview Adam, well done.
I appreciate this!
What a balanced and fair view. Thanks Adam and Sean.
I enjoyed hearing his perspective
great talk and straight from the heart
9 days left and I am wondering about the prices dropping further. At the end good to know he has inventory which makes sales easier and safer instead of hoping for a delivery after having paid. Also the open comparison that buying a fisker is a kind of gamble in Vegas based on expectations.
If you have an ICE then it is easier than without in case things go wrong and car needs repairs. on the other side you get a huge amount of value based on batttery size and range.
Good points here
Adam, do you know if anyone has figured out how to replicate the key fob/nfc. Hate that I don’t have a replacement key in case I lose/ damage my only one.
As soon as I know something I will share
Great to hear another perspective, and from the inside…still wondering if us FOO’s will we get our free set of tires?
Are you serious?
I’m not optimistic about the Ocean One benefits. I really feel like Ocean One Owners were the greatest contributors to Fisker’s successful delivery of an automobile, and they haven’t been properly thanked for it
Adam, do you feel like driving to Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania to visit the people at Susquehanna (SIG) and ask them questions about Fisker?
I just observe and report.
This guy loves the sound of his own voice. Should be a politician.
Thanks for your feedback
I have been reading the comments, thanks to everyone's candor. My take, is knowing where the company and finances stand, taking a flyer on remaining inventory at 15K or less is the only way one should purchase. Like I said to a client, at 37,699.00, spend your money on lottery tickets, the payoff will be better, also I never buy lottery tickets for reference!
Thanks for your feedback
I certainly appreciate Sean’s transparency. I wonder what he’d say to all the Ocean One owners that’ve been persistently ignored and lied to regarding service requests, undelivered promises and a general misrepresentation/obfuscation of the company and car. Is that just the cost of doing business with an EV start up?
I'd say you're owed anything and everything that you were promised by the company in writing. Whether or not you'll see it is another story, and sadly it's up to the customer/customers to figure out a way to make that happen. Understanding the quality of the car not being 100% is most certainly par for the course/an expected cost of doing business with an EV startup, and customers have no room to complain about that. Anyone that says, "I didn't realize I was signing up to be a beta tester" but still decided to buy a car from a brand new manufacturer is just absolutely disconnected from reality. BUT... anything that was monetarily promised to customers in order to close deals is not part of the cost of doing business. That's product/service that is owed to you.
@@atlantaviper Thanks for your response Sean. It’s interesting that you bring up the beta tester analogy. On more than one occasion, I’ve thought of myself as one and even embraced the role, as disconnected as that may be. And sure 2.0 was meant to fix a lot of the bugs but ask any owner how many bugs or “quirks” it actually fixed. The complaints, feedback and issue reporting has largely fallen on deaf ears, Sean. Experiencing break slippage that sends you careening into an intersection? That’s normal. Haven’t received your trailer hitch? It’s coming. Faulty air conditioner vents? We know. Solar sky waaay underperforming?…the list goes on and on. Where’s the accountability? I’m happy to beta test, but for a company that actually values my opinion and exhibits a modicum of loyalty. Your salesmanship is seemingly transparent and candid which is sincerely appreciated. Unfortunately the current Fisker Inc has shown itself to be anything but.
At any rate, thank you for your very candid, honest response. It has been the most personable bit of advice or feedback I’ve received from anyone with meaningful proximity to the company.
I agree with Sean’s response to this comment. Thanks for asking the questions
@@ulizes80 your point is 100% spot on, and there's definitely some duality here. Customers should understand the purchase they're making when buying a car from an EV startup that's been delivering cars for less than one year. Don't expect perfection. You'll be the ones discovering the majority of the issues. But on the other hand, there was not enough testing done on the street before delivering the cars to customers to shake down those underlying issues, and the company has been nothing short of poor at best at communicating with customers and offering reasonable service times to address and repair issues. So it's one thing to get involved as an early adopter who should be well aware of what they're buying into, and it's another to be that person and receive nothing in support when you are in need of service or customer service.
@@atlantaviper do you have any ideas on how I can sell and move on from my Ocean One? Basically new (3549 miles since 11/23) with the exception of the air vent issue and mud flap problem. Thanks
Good one ☝️
Thanks for watching
Can a dealership arrange a lease to get the IRA tax credit? In a normal dealership, the lessor is neither the dealership nor the manufacturer but it seems direct sales don't get leases easily.
Leases are offered through the manufacturer, not the dealer. No, Fisker does not currently offer a lease option, and based on the volatility of the company, we are also not offering a financing option on them at this time either. The IRA tax credit expired if your purchase was not completed on or before 12/31/23, and in order to qualify you needed to have ordered and received a VIN prior to 8/16/22.
There has unfortunately never been a lease option of any kind with a Fisker.
I can see that they started dumping job lots of Oceans at used car dealerships in the UK (you can see it on Autotrader), so it looks like time is nearly up...
Agree. I think this is what that last loan was for. To get all the oceans to a place where they can be sold
What was this about? I think Sean gave us the same information Adam has already covered.
I think it was nice to have a perspective from someone who worked at the company and also sells the cars. He did confirm a lot of reports. Thanks for your feedback.
Sadly the information that I have put out continues to get taken out of context and posted on the internet to fit the narrative of one side or the other. The goal of this conversation was to provide the information in a way that can’t be twisted.
Did you stop this dude in the middle of vaccuming? lol digging the backdrop.
I did not have a say in the background choice. But I was happy to have him on the channel

It's not a Fisker because it actually works
I would say this was a very fair interview from Mr O'Grady being I too worked at Fisker and have some knowledge of the company like others here. Sean wasn't kidding when he was saying that managment should remove itself. It was sad. Sometimes Henrick came to speak to the whole company and you couldn't believe someone actually gave this man money. He seemed confused and really jealous of Tesla. And his wife was worse. So in short you had the CEO and CFO/COO husband and wife team that together didn't seem capable of running anything - running a company with a bunch of other people who seemed lost ( think her name was Dawn and some stoner looking dude Bryan) and wonder why Fisker is where it is. I can agree with Sean having seen the car at events and having a chance to drive one once - it is a good car. It did have a lot of little issues (blinking lights) and that key thing seemed annoying. If you have money to burn ( or need to know how to just ask the Fisker's) you should get one, but Sean is right to tell people - you are buying at your own risk. Well done Mr O'Grady.
I 100% agree with this. I think it was really nice to get a perspective from inside the company, and from a dealer in just one interview.
great vid... so... according to this interview, sounds like when people mentioned that manufacturers need to put money away for warranty, that is BS and there won't be any if they went BK? Would love a live Q&A session in the future with you and/or Sean or anyone in similar positions with knowledge.
This is purely speculative, but if the company's valuation is less than the owner's house, and the promised O1 Benefits packages at roughly $7,500 times 5,000 cars totals $37.5M and none have been delivered to customers to date... where do you think there's money being set aside for warranty? Again, my question is purely speculative, but it sure does make a whole lot of sense.
@@atlantaviper I figured if it indeed is required it would have to be put aside for every build by law at the time of the build, like an escrow, whereas those benefit packages are purely voluntary.. but i have no idea, so that's why I'm asking.
I covered this in a video. A warranty owner becomes a creditor in the event of bankruptcy. You need to fight for your warranty in court. In the event of a chapter 11, the court will help you, but a liquidation means there’s nothing left
@@bernssss0820 how is a benefits package voluntary if it was offered as part of the purchase of the vehicle? I can't promise you something as a way to get you to complete a purchase and then not provide it to you.
@@atlantaviper they "chose" to offer it after price cuts.. it wasn't required by law.... but sounds like neither is putting money aside for warranty
For whatever reason this interview has been bugging me even though I’ve already listened to it and already commented lol. I think the reality is that it is ultimately a missed opportunity to ask what specifically does he tell prospective buyers? what does an example conversation look like? What were the sales strategies when he worked for fisker directly? Did he have a inclination towards the collapse of the company while he was still an employee? What is his opinion on the reviews of the ocean one by the social media influencers on the demise of the company? what is his opinion on Service? There are just so many questions that could’ve been asked here to provide insight - as well as the fact that although there could’ve been a nondisclosure agreement that he has to abide by there were still so many missed opportunities for him to give us real insight and real knowledge; but about 20 minutes of the video is actually him talking about Chrysler and Dodge and vipers and about doing the right thing for his family and it just doesn’t make any sense- it is truly a therapy session for himself as opposed to new insights like… did folks know that this was happening? Was the writing on the wall? What extent did social media influencers have in terms of the impact on the brand and the bankruptcy etc.
I really appreciate the desire to know more about all the topics you mentioned. The interviewee currently sells Fiskers. That makes the interview process much more complex. His job is on the line, too.
You should probably go back and listen to it for a third time if you completely missed the very direct answer provided about what prospective buyers are told. That is an accurate example of what those conversations look like. As for sales strategies at Fisker... There were none. And those that did bring countless new and viable strategies to the table were quickly dismissed by senior managers that thought they knew better or more, and we see where that has gotten them. An inclination towards the collapse of the company as an employee. It's hard not to see the writing on the wall. The even sadder reality is that you as a consumer know as much or sometimes more than people working within the company. There was a lot of misleading information presented or simply just withheld, and employees found out more about the company from the media than from within. Opinion about the reviews of the Ocean One are spot on. We requested that Fisker send a marketing car to countless MAJOR social media influencers to review. Again, met with resistance time and time again because it was never "ready" to be reviewed. That's a company trying to control the narrative. They should have owned the fact that they're a start up, here's what's being delivered to customers now, and here's what you can expect in the future, and then offered to let the reviewers revisit the car once it had been updated. Instead, by not doing that what they actually did was put themselves in a very negative position by refusing to do so, which is interpreted as trying to hide things from potential buyers, which makes them look dishonest. So reviewers are going to by hyper critical of the car given the circumstances.
@@atlantaviper thank you for all of the additional detail, very helpful and I appreciate your time on this and I know you are bound by the rules of your dealership as well. I wish you much success - congrats on the upcoming wedding as well
Hey Fisker. How about taking back broken Oceans and the broken promises we paid for.
Really. I can't get my service technician to fix my car problem and bring it up to date. I don't have a California mode and sunroof that can be fixed remotely. My vents and 12V battery as well as Bluetooth have problems. So bring me a new up to date FOE. Take my car for parts. There are other owners who could be much happier with the most up to date Ocean as it was marketed.
That's transparency!
I would change my whole perspective on Fisker if they did this. How nice would that be
I agree with other comments. A lot of words but nothing new.
I sincerely apologize if I wasted your time.
Don’t be. A lot if people found the interview very useful. Thank you for all you’re doing for the world of EV’s!
Ive watched all of your videos and your ability to articulate the details is why we all listen to you. Your financial analysis is spot on and every time I listen I feel like I learned something.
This video was honestly a waste of time and a miss. I’m sure the guest is a good guy, but it felt more like a self-help session then an information session. he repeated business jargon phrases ad nauseam, and we literally learned zero about the inner workings working at Fisker or the inner workings of trying to sell these cars today. It felt more like a Tony Robbins session on self-help. You do amazing work my friend and we are grateful for all of your insight, but this video is a mess & a miss.
Thanks for watching, and for your feedback

Worse case scenario, the Ocean may be the best parts harvesting opportunity ever. The battery alone can support a project car let alone the seats, lights, etc.

God, I wish the Fiskers would sell the company to a competent car/business entity and stay on as the head designer. Part of being a successful human is surrounding ourselves with competent people to rely on. Wake up Henrik and Gita!!!!! Grow up!!!

Thank you for your business!
What's going to happen is bankruptcy. The note holder will strip any value from the company they can before then.
Afterwards, there's nothing left for a buyout or merger with an OEM.
It's likely the note holder got in the way of the Nissan deal and any opportunity that might have been available through the 4 unnamed brands interested. So even if there was a way to "save" fisker, the note holder would not allow any option that did not first and fully compensate them.
Right.
Per the last 8K you are correct that Fisker, per that document, is prohibited from any merger and acquisition. However, if Fisker "somehow" can pay that $3,456 either with or without penalties, then that would satisfy this debt and would release that clause which prohibits the merger or acquisition clauses. However, I do not believe they can satisfy this extended debt and the note holder fully realizes this. I do believe this $3,456 money is being provided as incentive money to dealers to sell the remaining Oceans and also for basic operating cost. So, the note holder is spending this money with a positive cash flow as, they expect some Ocean sales which will exceed this expenditure. As Oceans are sold, which it is very doubtful that all Oceans will be sold, the note holder will still be on the take for the remaining inventory and the Fisker IP will also be the property of the note holder. I would expect further reductions in the pricing perhaps at auctions. I fully believe that the note holder evaluated their dealings with Fisker in 2 ways. If Fisker succeeded they would have had a benefit, if they failed the note holder has an equal or even a greater financial reward. Predatory lender at it's very very best.
I was an employee at Fisker in early 2018 and I as one of 20 original employees.
Henrik was great but his wife Geeta (President of Fisker) was the worst human I’ve ever met. She would scream in the office. It’s no surprise they failed.
I do feel bad for Henrik though.
Thanks for sharing this!
Henrik is just as guilty as Geeta having worked with them both.
think about it guys, if a company needs a loan of a mere $3 million to continue operating, it means it doesnt even have $3 million to its name, like can anything spell out bankruptcy more clearly than that. and all these subpar dealerships that fisker is signing, fisker is begging them for a display spot or two on their plot of lands, and probably under predatory contracts too where it's a winwin for the dealerships and fisker gets violated in all holes if the cars end up not selling.

No one should consciously sell this car to anyone. The company is going out of business and every person that buys his cars when you get screwed. I can’t believe for one moment that this is a car if it was a good car would still be in business.
This seems like a bunch of propaganda . I would feel bad if anyone bought this car because of this video.
To even mention the G wagon in the same sentence with Fisker is funny.
I, cannot take this video seriously seriously
Do you own FO? What makes it a bad car? Please share your experience
@@TheOnlyGreatGuy oh I don’t know the fact that you have to make videos about how they are filing for BK, there is no service available unless you are bricked. Software is questionable at best.
No clue why anyone would put their money into this. These are daily driver cars, not a niche high end brand that you only drive on the weekends when it is nice out.
There are 0 guarantees this car will even run after you buy it.
I wouldn’t advocate for people to buy this car. To many unknowns and things that can go wrong.
Why do you think someone should buy this car when Fisker is filing for BK, software is nowhere near any of its competition, and they have basically no service or warranty guarantees. Why don’t think this is a good idea?
Save the hassle buy a Tesla if you have to have an EV.
Thanks for the feedback
I think there is value in what was said. Magna is a capable company based on the vehicles they currently manufacture. Now there has been reporting that Fisker did some parts swapping that created some incompatibility with software, but reports can be accurate or inaccurate. I think the take-away here is that Magna, at least mechanically, built a solid Ocean. If someone wants to take the risk, and the risk Classic Fisker makes buyers aware, then a sale can be honestly made.
Why buy just a Tesla when there are better EVs out there now, and a lot of choice.
Dealbreaker for me is the looks of the Tesla, looking stale and boring now. Tesla looks like an egg. Then you look at the interiors, and its night and day compared to some other quality EVs.
The Tesla doesn’t even have a HUD or gauge clusters. What a boring cockpit to sit in. So plain Jane and no premium or special feeling. Looking at an iPad instead of the road and playing with it is dangerous!
Takes a long time to get to the point imo. A lot of personal reflection than insights about the company.
Skip the first 12-15 minutes at least to get to the insights.
I personally didn’t care too much about how the interviewee thinks about himself and how honest he is etc.
Thanks for sharing this
Is there anything that can be done to protect all of the consumers that have been injured in this process. I already know the answer but wanted to put it out there?
Henrik Fisker shouldn’t ever be allowed to operate a public company into US again.
this is a free country. it was your own free will to buy/invest in fisker. no one else can be blamed for your decisions made on your own free will
Lawyers file lawsuits to collect damages. There are several angles in that arena. All of which are expensive and time consuming. So, the short answer is yes
not sure what he wants to convey in 30 min conversation..
I appreciate the feedback
Buy more Fisker stock to keep the company alive. $10 isn't going to hurt your pocket. Just kidding do whatever you want.
A video of someone lighting a $10 bill on fire has much more earning potential. This is not financial advice. Do your own research.
no disrespect, but this guy did my head in. This was so hard to listen to. I thought he was not telling the truth and his main interest was his livelihood, which is fine but saying that the FISKER is a great car is lunacy a great car opens when you hit the unlock button, a great car drives and doesn’t allall of a sudden go into reverse! I wanted to scream listening to guy who is full of himself. Adam, interview a person who’s not afraid to be real!
Here here! My sentiments exactly. Great car my ass.
I understand, respect, and appreciate your point of view. I tried to provide a perspective from someone who worked for, and with the company. Information isn’t always straightforward and black and white. I sincerely thought a perspective from someone within the company could help provide some understanding, as hard as it may be to listen to.
@@Aslash304@Aslash304 I appreciate you, Adam; you know I do. Thanks for allowing this space. there was just something fishy about this cat. None the less. Thanks for your videos.
@@Coolcatgrooves reading your comment and thinking there's something fishy about a guy trying to be honest when the only thing you've received from the company itself have been lies makes me very confused. Also, I'm not full of myself by any means. I've done interviews in the past where I've not given enough information and that makes me "unqualified" to speak on a subject. This time I gave too much information and that makes me full of myself. Interesting perspective. All it tells me is that people are impossible to please as a whole, and what you say will only resonate with one type or another.

Adam, I noticed she didn’t ask him anything about the share price that’s the most important part to us out here the people that own 100s of thousands even millions of shares that’s the most important issue even more important than the car itself. I really wish you would’ve asked him about the share price and what he thought Where it would end up with the Share price there is no company
I appreciate the feedback, I’ll try to do better next time
He probably has very little insight regarding that as he is working in the dealership network and not the investment side of things.
You want share price insight from a car salesman??? Per the 8K, the liquidation plan will be submitted on May 24th. There's your insight.
This is an interview that should have happened a year ago. Now, Fisker is MORE than dead. There is 0 point to this interview seems to be addressing issues and "what-ifs" that have already come to pass. There WONT be support, there WONT be more Oceans built. Fisker is BK and is actively dissolving.
Peoples "personal perception" no longer matters with Fisker. Buying a Fisker today us buying a car without support, parts, and a future. If you are wanting to toss $40k away for a nice looking toy that wont last long, wont resell for anything, then go for it.
This is an odd interview given the current active state of Fisker.

Did I miss the question on what Fisker continues to add dealers? Everything else from this interview was "yawn"
The “dealers” are simply consignment agreements. I sell your cars, I get a percentage.
It's a lot easier to move cars with more dealers than less. If your goal is to liquidate inventory it's a good option. Whether or not they honor the promises being made to the dealer "partners" is a different story. Case and point is finding these same cars being sold new for under the dealer partner invoice prices at dealer auction to dealers with no partnership agreements.
JFC, quit saying “uhhhhh” every second to third word!
Thanks for the feedback
Just cannot take this guy Seriously. The first red flag is he Believes this company done well with the first karma. Anyone that thinks Fisker will be around after the inventory is gone is not listening to Adam. This guy is here to make as much money as they can till the end, that is not far off.
You demonstrably did not listen to what he said and meant. The third party company sold the Fisker Karma and did well in selling it as a dealership company. He was not suggesting Fisker did well as a manufacturing company.
Thanks for your feedback
If you’re the kind of person that gets annoyed by “ahhhs” and “uhhhms” you should skip this one.
Thanks for your comment
Fisher is gonna take away features and charge customers to retain them, wtf 🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡

This guy is talking crap
Thanks for your comment
Dodge and Fisker. lol 2 garbage brands.
Thanks for your comment
This guy said "uh" 45 times in the first 1 minute. I don't think i can listen to him talk for 30 minutes. Definitly not a good salesperson
Not everyone is a skilled speaker or prepares for interviews.
But you’re right. It’s hard to watch.
He was easy to listen to, much as when you are in a real conversation people use those sounds for pauses to allow the thoughts to catch up to the mouth. Not sure that I learned much but didn’t feel it a waste of time either.
Um, he sold Vipers, that says it all.
Thanks for the feedback
Not nice.
