@Pan, Hi Pan Can you tell me what your personal favorite ceramic spray sealant is? Also, What ceramic spray sealant would be good to use after buffing a car with 3D Speed? Thanks
@PanTheOrganizer Pan, it would appear that in the UK the Ice turtle wax seal and shine, isn't the same product by name or design which you have, we do have a turrle wax seal and shine available to us but it isn't the one you appear to have. Any ideals?
For those of us of a certain age, accepting that you can just spray and rinse protection took awhile to comprehend. I discovered Griots about 20 years ago and that opened up a whole new world to me, but having so much access now on RUclips to detailing has taken my knowledge to another level. I having always used wax but when it's time to wax again, I'm going to try just Wet Coat. The last time I waxed, I didn't realize I could just use Wet Coat, so I applied it after I waxed my car. Ceramic coating would be great, but in every video I see it being applied, part of the paint prep process involves machine polishing and that is something I'm not willing to try. Pan, you're great and keep the great content coming.
Thanks William! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 860,000 subscribers and we have almost 110 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
I'm in the same boat. After decontamination process, claying, etc. Apply a wax and then wet coat after maintenance washes, until you strip and wax again?
What would be really cool is to get a test panel, split it into 3 sections, and apply carnuba wax to one section, polymer sealant to another, and ceramic coat the last section, so you can visibly see the differences side by side of wax vs sealant vs coating
I’ll skip that video and just let you know which ones.... there’s only three you need.... collinite845 is one of the best ones I think. Get it warm and put a spray nozzle on the bottle and your golden.... after that cures I top it with bead maker. Bead maker is awesome alone you just need to apply it more often if that’s all your using. And the last one would be jescar powerlock plus. If you use that first on a clean surface let that cure and top it with collinite to add a lot of shine. Hell you could go crazy and use all three of you let the previous application cure... your go to quick applications will be the collinite and bead maker. Those two alone when I don’t have time for the other keep my car shiney and sooooo waterproof it’s insane!
@@kevina4674 Have you used the newerTurtle Wax products? I just bought a DA for some minor paint correction and had was planning to use Powerlock topped with 845, but I've seen a number of people saying pick one (no need to layer), and others recommending Seal n Shine over Jescar. Curious if that's ease of application (spray), price, or if they believe it's actually a superior product.
I'm always trying different products for my vehicles. I wasn't a big fan of turtle wax products, I used to prefer meguiars or mothers. Before this past winter I needed a new ceramic coat on both vehicles to protect the paint as best as possible. All of the Turtle wax Hybrid ceramic products are amazing and super easy to use compared to other ceramic products. I'd recommend the hybrid wash and wax, ceramic wet wax, the 3 in 1 detail spray for in between washes and the ceramic polish/wax. All 4 products will run you just below $80 at walmart. Hope this helps you out. Good luck
I just got addicted to detailing my cars this past year after 30+ years - better late than never! I’m enjoying the sealants or spray coatings because I can easily change to different products every so often. Maybe will go to a ceramic coating at some point but having fun trying different products for now. Recently used Ethos Ceramic Wax Pro and love that it’s a wax-type product but with greater protection.
I was always a big fan of the polymer sealant when it came out. However the ceramic coatings is a natural transition, and as Pan says, the durability and gloss is indeed insane!!

I have always preferred to use carnuaba wax. I like the look it gives and i believe that getting in touch with every inch of your car every few months is a good thing. You can have new scratches or dings or surface rust starting that you may never notice if you only coat it every 2 years. A person don't notice as many details on a maintianance wash.
I've tried the meguiars ceramic hybrid, and the durability and water sheeting compared to traditional waxes was soooooooooo much better and super easy to apply. Glad I invested in a ceramic type wax.
A K I’ve used meguiars ceramic hybrid for the past 6 months & love it. To answer your question, if you wash them before the water drys in the towel, it came right out. I let one dry and tried washing it, I had to throw it away.
I also love the meguiars spray aswell it helps me to keep the meguiars hybrid ceramic liquid wax glossy and absolutely love the water beading. I got excited the first time i used it an it rain 2 days later n I saw the water beading OMG it was crazy. I tried the paste waxes but just didn't get on with them maybe I was too lazy
These days Ive been using liquid sealant and carnauba wax over it, since I live in Brazil, Carnauba wax is very inexpensive. Congratulatons on this video!
@@Outlawzand1 i think the opposite way would be the best way... first the ceramic spray and than the carnauba wax on top. I'm considering this method for my car but so far no information!!!
I have had good luck with the Mothers CMX spray ceramic coating as well as the Meguiars ceramic spray coating. These types of spray ceramic infused coatings are my go to for paint protection now, I layer on carnauba for that extra warmth. Great results for me! 🇨🇦
Sound and conducts him self as a real professional, Good man and a real professional car detailer. Excellent work you have for sure motivated me. Thank you
Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated. I have been detailing cars for over 22 years now, and I love sharing my knowledge and passion with my viewers. We have built one of the biggest detailing channels on RUclips together. That's why I call this the Pan TheOrganizer family! :) How did you discover my channel?
It probably doesn't matter, but you just got another subscriber. I have a full-time job but started detailing on the side due to covid forcing my wife to stay home with our infant. Now my wife and I have new vehicles and I just coated them with Adam's ceramic graphene. It seems to shed water better than anything i have used previously(the generic SiO2 stuff). Time will tell how well it holds up. Thank you for your videos, they have been a good contributor to me as a detailer to avoid some expensive and time consuming mistakes.
Thanks for the positive feedback and kind words Joseph. I appreciate it! And it does matter to me that you took the time to subscribe to my channel. Let me officially welcome you to the Pan TheOrganizer family! I value each and every one of my subscribers, as without you guys, I wouldn't be to the point where we are now, easily one of the biggest and fastest growing car detailing channels on RUclips with 550,000 subscribers, millions watching and 61 million video views. And as you can see, still to this day, I take two to three hours each day to respond directly to you guys on RUclips comments. I like being close to my audience as much as I can. I can get overwhelming at times, as you can imagine with a channel the size of mine, I receive thousands of messages, e-mails and DMs daily, but I try my best to respond to RUclips comments every day. :) How did you discover my channel by the way?
@@PanTheOrganizer I discovered your channel originally when I was researching ceramic coatings. I have watched 6 or more of you videos and I decided to subscribe after I recognized your voice via RUclips playing in the background in my garage. You have been great at simply explaining tye processes. I have probably quoted you when I talk the potential clients. Not intentionally but subconsciously repeating the process, etc.
Great video. Me living in a condo with no garage and my car exposed to the elements has found this video extremely helpful. I was thinking of applying a ceramic coating and now see that this is out of the question. I will stick to my traditional waxes and sealants. I have always gotten amazing results. Thanks Pan! Great and informative as always.
@@Ultrajamz it's because of the curing time. Once you apply a ceramic coating the car needs to be out of the elements or at least not get wet for 24 hours. I live in Miami. The weather is unpredictable. It can be hot and sunny with out a cloud in sight and then have a crazy thunderstorm within the course of a few hours. I live in a condo and don't have a parking space in a garage. My car is exposed to the elements at all times. This makes ceramic coatings kind of a bad choice for me. It wouldn't cure properly and I'm sure the humidity plays a huge factor in curing time and proper curing as well.
@@nasimwehbe8410 thank you for a sharing this! I live in Sarasota, and also in a complex. I was considering ceramic, but will opt for something else now that I read your comment. Thank you!
@Mode Bespoke your welcome bro. I actually go crazy on my car every 6 months and clay bar once a year. But every 6 months I do a basic compound from Maguires, then Maguires polish, then a good wax. I've tried all brands and my favorite waxes are Zymol, Maguires, Griots Garage, and Mothers. They have different types of waxes and I think I've tried them all. Great results with all those brands.
Well, as car and detailing enthusiast I still prefer old school. On my car I use wax for protection and spray wax after every wash as drying aid and to refresh the paint protection. I would probably use the paint sealant but I like working on my car it's relaxing and I don't mind spending an afternoon once in a while on it. Yes, I am aware that ceramic coatings are better, last longer etc...but what I'm gonna do then? Haha
I tried the sealant stuff. Very easy to use, spray on and buff off. The shine is maybe a bit too glossy, a bit artificial. Very reflective almost like a chrome effect. You can see objects reflected in the car surfaces. Waxes gives a deeper gloss so depending on the colour of your car the traditional waxes bring out the colour more and look better.
By far, my favourite is Maguire’s hybrid ceramic wax ( blue bottle ). Wash car, spray when wet and wipe off. Even very forgiving if you don’t wipe some spots, turns transparent. No curing time needed, excellent shine and makes car easy to wash off grime and winter road spray. The complimentary Maguire’s Ceramic detailer ( green bottle ) is the perfect product to dry clean your car from light dust. Provides a deep rich colour of the paint. I use both of these products exclusively on both cars and my Harley Davidson where it gets into those cracks , crevices and hard to reach places ensures protection of chrome, wires, engines Matt black surfaces leaving a like new clean shine on the engine, no white spots or color change due to high heat from engine. I even use the Ceramic wax on patio furniture, pontoon, hot tub, gazebo and any other plastic or fibreglass items. Absolutely terrific product.
Thank you so much for clearing the air on all of these different products. I want to keep the black paint on my Honda looking as good and protected as I can. Your vids are by far the easiest to understand and very well narrated. Props for you doing them in French as well! Proud follower here!
@@PanTheOrganizer Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax VS Turtle Wax Ice Seal N Shine VS Mothers CMX was an eye opener for me. As a former Southern California resident, I participated in Meguiar's car clinics and have a very high opinion of them. While I still like many of their products, your testing of the Turtle Wax Ice Seal simply blew me away! I just finished up my Produxa bottle and will be reintroduced to the Turtle Wax line after being gone for decades. Again, thank you for what you do!
i used turtlewax ceramic on my roadtrek 12 months ago. i coated everything- windows, rubber, paint, fiberglass. I haven't washed the rig since. It's still clean! I'm a believer.
I used carnauba wax for decades until I found Klasse all-in-one. Easy on, easy off, great result. Now I'm climbing the steep learning curve of the ceramics. I want to get it right the first time.
Collinite Insulator 845 has been my go-to for years now. I absolutely LOVE that wax. Does it last forever? No, but it leaves an amazing shine that my customers love.
@@giogioo023 Might I suggest you're using too much. It needs to be barely visible when applying. Leave for 10-15mins then buff with clean microfibre. I've never had any hazing.
Another great video from Mr Pan !!! What i use : Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax, respraying it every month. And Meguiars last touch after every wash. Im a private driver so i wash my car daily .
my preference is to first apply Meguiars polish, buff off to a nice shine, then apply Meguiars NTX polymer sealant. Lasts 6 - 8 months. If I have time, I will use a quality wax (after the NXT) on my roof & bonnet, just for the extra protection.
THIS GUY JUST KILLED IT, INCLUDING HIS LINKS TO ALL THE PRODUCTS USED IN THE VIDEO. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THERE WERE A PRICE CHECK, AND TYVM PAN.
I've combined using Auto Glym Super Resin Polish and topping a layer of Turtle wax ceramic coating. The paint work has given out a wet deep gloss shine and with consistent dense water beading. So happy with the result.
Great, great, great!!! All the videos on your channel, without exception, are amazing. These videos that explain and compare brands and products help us a lot to understand and search for the ideal solutions for our needs. You are the man!
Great content Pan! I tried the Carpro UK 3.0 on my Portamao Blue BMW M340i. Followed your tutorial to a T. Had too many dark spots which upset me.,Had to remove it with the Rupes DA polisher. I reverted back to spray on Carpro Reload . Now no stress, anxiety or dissatisfaction with high spots. I don’t recommend self applied ceramic coating , unless your Pan the Organizer Car Detailer Extraordinarie!!
I had the same problem with CQuartz, went to Gteqniq and had no problems at all. Exo V4 will last close to 2 years and looks great with C2V3 spay topper every once and a while. I am a fan of CarPro products but found CQuartz a bit difficult to work with and also needed to machine off high spots.
I too love to spray on and rinse off for the rims etc. I also like to spray it around the paint inside the engine compartment as well. Great protection with less effort.
Bonjour Pan ! I have 3 cars. 1 has been treated with a ceramic coating, put by a professional detailer, that I maintain by spraying once in a while Meguiar's hybrid ceramic wax. My two other cars have 1 or 2 layers of traditional carnauba Meguiar's wax which are also over coated with Meguiar's hybrid ceramic wax. The result is absolutely excellent. Meguiar's are doing some excellent products. That hybrid ceramic wax is truly a revolution.
Pan TheOrganizer I must say this comparo was good cause there are so many products out here. But your ceramic video explaining the in’s and out’s and your honest opinion got me hooked. I’m picking up a 2006 Z4 3.0si this Friday and I’m going to start my own detail process per your instructions.
I've been watching Pan's video's on and off for a few years and have to say that he know's his stuff. I'm 72 and not a "car guy" but I do like a nice car(s) and currently I have a Lincoln MKC, Ford Ranger and Miata MX-5 that are kept washed, waxed and shined. I would also like to say that I got good information from this video as well.

Pan. For me Seal n Shine. Bought a 2020 Telluride last year. Washed it once I got it home (added an ounce of a degreaser to strip off any type of road film or waxes at the dealership). Inspected the paint for other issues and applied SnS. 8 months later, I still have gloss and beading action. I do reapply SnS once a month as I use it as a drying aid. Paint still looks great.
cracking video Pan, good information and explained very well. Unfortunately with a vehicle outside 24/7, very hard to prep correctly for full ceramic coating. So Si02 is a great option for me.
What makes it great? What have you compared it to? I really like some of Griot's stuff so I might give it a shot. I really like Meg's Ultimate Fast Finish paint sealant because it is SUPER easy to apply and it flashes SUPER fast. For a step up I go with PowerLock+. For spray on-spray off I use Geon WetCoat.
I, too, have been a Griot's customer for many years. The new 3-1 Ceramic Spray is excellent and very easy to apply and buff off. Can't wait to try it on our Lake Erie Sea Ray 460.
Pan you are my Professor for detailing. I have been caring for my vehicles for the last 30+ years. Back in the day it was wax and that was the only choice. Years later I started to used TW spray wax mostly on my motorcycle. My next vehicle was a mini van and that went through the car wash once a month (to busy being a dad and a coach). A few years ago my amazing wife bought me an almost new Dodge Ram 1500 (that is when my interest in detailing began). I learned all the tricks, tips and techniques from the best of the best (Pan, Scott & Brian) on RUclips. Maguire's Ultimate Fast Finish was the firs synthetic paint sealant I had every used and it was an AWESOME product. Just last week I did a full detail with one step paint correction and then finished it off with TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating and all I can say is "WoW". So easy to use (a little goes a long way - just two sprays per panel and a brand new microfiber towel to level and wallah!!). I live in Maine and it snowed 7 inches the next day and the snow would not stay on the hood. Quite the test. I think this new technology is amazing and I am a firm believer. Someday I may have a large garage to work inside which would encourage me to go for the gusto with a true Ceramic coating but until then... TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is the winner for me. "Keep it tight, Keep it clean"!!
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for the warm welcome. I've recently had my old bmw resprayed + I've been out of the detailing world for a few year. I was trying to research all the new types of coatings (I was a hand polish & wax guy). This was a suggested video from RUclips. So much to learn + its difficult to sive through the marketing BS. This vid really helped 👍
Great video, I like these kind. I also like that you differentiate SiO2 spray sealants from ceramic coatings. I couldn't help myself from scrolling down though the comments to see how many afflicted with Beadmaker mania were triggered. They're sad Pan, you left them out. 🙁
I use them all. But it depends on the situation. Show car = super deep gloss and extremely shiny reflection = expensive show wax in multiple layers = Swissvax Crystal Rock High end detail with high protection level = adding 2 + years of protection = ceramic coating Maintenance wash for ceramic coating = adding some protection and keeping the ceramic coating up to strength = spray sealant Intermediate detail with a nice finish = deep gloss 6 months + protection = high quality paste sealant = Fusso Coat Quick wash with some shine = washing and adding some shine = Spray wax when drying
I used Car Pro UK 3.0 initially. However, I found it worked best with Turtle wax ICE spray sealant, in place of RELOAD or Hydrosilex, etc. The slickness and shine for my white vehicle is what I expected. Using this combo, very rarely does anything stick to it.
Finally ! been waiting on someone to make a breakdown video on the differences. It would drive me crazy not knowing what I should get. DANNNNN keep up the great content 💪🏼
Pan TheOrganizer I detail cars as a side job, so i always search tips and tricks on youtube to make my job easier and came across one of my favorite channels pan the organizer !
Matt Ahmer if you’re going to put the effort towards paint correction you typically want the strongest protection as your foundation. Sealant or ceramic coating. Bead maker is more of a topper to enhance your base coat with a sacrificial layer.
I started detailing cars last summer in Dallas Texas and have applied turtle wax seal and shine on about 15 cars and 5 cars with the new hybrid solutions. One of my regular customers has a BMW M3 with the ceramic coating and after washing it every week I prefer the ceramic spray from hybrid solutions over the full ceramic coating for a vehicle that does a lot of city driving . My regular customers M3 would get new scratches (small)every other week or so and was more labor intensive to remove the scratches than hybrid solutions. In my opinion when you figure in cost to apply the ceramic, maintenance, and scratch removal The hybrid solutions offers the best deal far as cost for the average working guy that wants an amazing shine and excellent protection
What an absolute wealth of information you are Pan. You go into such detail and yet still manage to summarise it so perfectly at the end. However, there is one comparison that you haven’t done yet (well I can’t find it) about the effectiveness of grit removal prior to actually laying a hand on the paintwork. On a road and rain dirty car how much of the damaging grit is actually removed by: prewash with a hose, prewash with a pressure cleaner, prewash with a foam spray. Do an example of each then air dry and closely examine. Swirl marks are the bane of every car lovers life, and a really effective technique to eliminate happening in the first place I’m sure would interest all your subscribers. Would a magnifier inspection be too much? Anyway thanks to much for all the work you go to in these videos and I hope you go from strength to strength!
Pan cannot thank you enough for the information and work you put into these videos. One last question if possible, I know everybody has different tastes and preferences but if you had to choose between the BEST ceramic spray from your list. Which would it be and why?
You will soon find out in my upcoming 2020 car detailing products awards video dropping in September! Stay tuned as this year’s edition will be huge! :)
Great video Sir. Now it’s a personal choice of a detailer to apply a wax or a sealant or any spray ceramic spray on a car. But basically that might have a theory in regard to the colour of the car. Like a yellow or pink colour might pop and look good with a wax more than a sealant probably. A warm tone or a cold tone. So if that is the case, please make a video on how best protection elements can be decided based on the colour of the car. Thanks Pan
Im liking the ceramic spray protectant because its easier and quicker to apply. The whole point is to protect from the sun and Im willing to sacrifice protection time for ease of application since I dont want to ruin my finish. Thanks for this video it was very helpfull.
Pan Pan Pan....There you are once again showcasing sever quality products and clearly explaining the differences of each product. An excellent video explaining each product and potential uses. Anyone can watch this video and make an informed decision on what route to take for their vehicle's paint protection...Well done...
Another great video Paaaaaan! Im loving the Maguire’s Hybrid Ceramic spray. So easy to use and very little prep work. Can you comment on the prep time needed for each category. Will you need to remove all previous applications? Clay bar? Paint correct? Before applying wax/sealant/ceramic etc?
Another great video, Paaaaaaaannnn! ☺️ To answer your question my favorites are Meguiar’s Synthetic Sealant 2.0, JesCar Power Lock Plus, and Collinite 845.
Great vlog as always pan, personally as a weekend warrior I’m a massive fan of the spray on rinse off products, there is however something to be said for applying a wax, its therapeutic and really rewarding. In the winter months a quick rinse off product is always my go to product, Autobrite Direct Sonic Sp-Rin-Ts or Autoglym Polar Seal are 👍
I have upgraded over the years from Rain Dance, to Turtle paste wax, to Simoniz paste wax to Autoglym paste wax to now P21S paste wax. P21S is right now my wax of choice and I apply about 10+ coats a year, the car looks great and it protects the paint in the harsh Nova Scotia Canada environment. Great video!
Dude armor all is the basic bitch of detailing products. Literally mass produced for Walmart and markets. You think someone who doesn’t give a shit about his car or detailing in general, is gonna spend $18 for a bottle of collinite? For $18 you can probably get an entire low budget low quality detailing package at Walmart
Pan, can you explain the “lifetime warranty” ceramic coating packages? For example, Ceramic Pro Gold. How does it work? What is the catch? As always your videos are top notch, thank you.
I personally have the professional version of Gtechniq on my own car. I have Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra, topped with ExoV4, which is then topped monthly with their C2V3 Liquid Crystal. My car is in an open apartment parking lot that is exposed to the elements and happens to be right across a freeway. It's quite easy to keep my car clean thanks to coatings. I get around water restrictions using a Sunjoe SPX-6001 and a few small buckets.
I have used 3D products in the past but now I am using Meguiars ceramic wax and am very satisfied with the results and effort required. The key of course is a clean, clayed, surface. I might try the Turtle Wax version of the same, but Meguiars is easy to find at the stores.
Pan, no P&S Bead Maker in this video. I started using it because of the review you made. By far my favorite. What do you think of using Car Pro Cquartz UK 3.0 and topping with bead maker?
I talk about Bead Maker so much that I simply forgot about it in this video lol. Oh well. But yes for gloss it’s nuts. And I loved it on my previous BMW that had CQuartz UK 3.0 on it! Watch my Bead Maker review: ruclips.net/video/J7uc4AlarpU/видео.html
Just saying they all have found a good way to confuse an average person with detailing. But I was glad to find someone who actually sat and talked about each one separate.
Cheers! For the graphene, I’m still waiting on the major brands to come up with their formulas. Currently, graphene is dangerous health wize apparently and they have to find a way to make that stuff safe.
Great video! I have had this request also but there is no way I could explain it like this plus my video would be 2 hrs long because I like to ramble. I will start directing them to this video. Glad to see Ethos sent you the new Ceramic wax.
Henry Freeman Hank’s Detailing Yeah I am good friends with Papasmurf so I know what he has been going through with it. I put it on my parents car back in September and it is still working great. Their car is the perfect test subject because it gets driven all over the country and rarely gets washed and when it does it’s a tunnel wash. It’s good that Tim helped everyone out that got the bad batch. My bottle was from the very first batch as I got it before it was released and so far I am happy with it.
I finally got to use the Ceramic Wax after all the cleaning on my vehicle , It was easy to use and it made the paint really pop even though it was really clear before I used the wax ! Its really a nice product and easy to use . Not sure I would of used it if wasn't for your video ! Thank you
Hi PAN. Since the first days i have a car i was in love by water beading. Now after waching your videos i conclued that water sheading is far more important...for protetion. Thanks for all your work and sharing.
It is probably the best bang for the buck sealant out there... Meg's Ultimate Fast Finish is great too and is a little easier to apply but doesn't have any wax mixed in like the Seal N Shine. The wax mixed in gives it a bit of a "warmer" look.
Another great video Pan. Very informative. I recently paired Jescar Power Lock and P&S Bead Maker. Works awesome. And it’s really simple to top up. It works for me. I just find that while ceramics produce incredible gloss and protection, the time needed to polish and then apply (drying and curing times), for me anyway, is jus t a bit too much. Always enjoy your videos. 👍
Shannon Connock it isn’t in this video, but Pan has reviewed Bead Maker in his previous videos. I was simply stating it’s a combo that I use and that it’s a combo that works for me.
I prefer using the Carnauba wax on my car because I like the warm depth and silky smooth touch on my Chevy Camaro is just so satisfying to see the colors pop. It does take quite the work using a paste wax but the end result is just amazing that fits the California theme to it 😍
Broad overview of protectants and your top picks and durability were interesting to watch. The best presentation ever! My daily driver is a 26 year old, same country as you. I've had it for 3 years. I put on Meguiars NXT paste by hand. I made the paint pop. For maintenace washes I use the cheapest car soap. Simoniz or Turtle Wax Ice. I top it off with any spray wax on sale. Used Turtle Wax Carnuba spray and Seal N Shine. Recently I picked up this a hose attachment spray detailer called Demon Shine by Car Plan. Tried it once and it looked the same as the car looks shiny already.
Great video, Pan. 👍 My personal choices are paste carnauba waxes in the summer and sealants in the winter. I have only recently used Turtle Wax Sealant Hydrophobic Wax (as it is called here in the UK) and absolutely love this stuff. Easy to apply, cheap, great look and durability. 👍I would like to try a ceramic but.... It is not the application that is a concern for me, more the right conditions as I am an outside detailer. Very inclement weather conditions here in the UK.
@@lockergr used CQLITE on numerous cars. Awesome to use even outside and you can coat a car quite quickly. If you want to get greater durability, you can apply 2 layers.
As an Australian I use products from Bowden's Own. I've been a detailer for 20 years and find them to be great products. Ceramic coatings are great but touchy to apply in our climate. You really need to be indoors to do it, especially in summer. That's why I find Wet Dreams, a spray on rinse off sealant, to be superior for the average person. It is a very tolerant sealant if applied even in full sun. Yes you need to work a bit quicker but a very forgiving product.
I used to get Carnauba Waxes for its great warm gloss.. since rain and sun here is so wild.. Sealants were better options, Spray Waxes/sealants were the ones I like.. easy to use and I can use them everyweek or month.. then Hybrid ceramic spray came out as a easier and better look and protection.. so happy with the growth in the car care industry in the past 10 years.. and Great to have you Paaaannn The Organizer for us to learn more.. Keep it up, Keep it tight and see you on the next 😀
@@PanTheOrganizer I like to watch car detailing videos on youtube.. and usually some of your videos show up on the page.. Great videos, great review, I always found it entertaining and informative
Thank you for this informative video, from Singapore here. It is a great video to differential the types of protection. I'm mostly on optimum products such as opti-coat pro, spray wax and hyper seal. Our Singaporean environment here can be rather harsh due to our tropical weather (Slight acidic rain) and constant tree sap, bird droppings. Making things simple to maintain by newer technology is always a welcome. Currently thinking to try the new turtle wax spray ceramic coating and see how does it compares to hyper seal. And you've brought my attention to this GYEON wet coat on it's spray on, rinse off application, might be a great idea for the rims. Thank you.
I used CK Quartz ceramic with Gliss on my car. My wife's car gets Seal N Shine. Both great products. For the money, you can't beat this Turtle Wax Ice line of products.
Have had carpro c quartz on my Subaru for a few years now and about to re apply and the paint looks new on a 15 year old car now. the Australian sun is intense and I parked out in the sun at work, the coating is the best has lasted so much longer than I expected in the Australian conditions and can’t recommend carpro products enough I use the spray on sealants on my family’s cars and it’s amazing the results and the drivers are surprised the cars look great 👍 I can’t get enough of your recommendations and your explanations of the products and procedures have made my car shine like new

Any ideals?

Can you please review dodo juice products
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
u got this guse u can polish ! i believe in you haha , but u should definitely try , its super fun and makes a huge difference
I'm in the same boat. After decontamination process, claying, etc. Apply a wax and then wet coat after maintenance washes, until you strip and wax again?
The question too ask though is, Which one taste the best?
Beadmaker
Turtlewax. Smells like tropical fruit
@@darkwhorse Agreed, it's turtles all the way down!
greenfire919 Beadmaker shines like crazy but only lasts two weeks
you can pour some ceramic coating on your tongue and you will taste anything in months.
What would be really cool is to get a test panel, split it into 3 sections, and apply carnuba wax to one section, polymer sealant to another, and ceramic coat the last section, so you can visibly see the differences side by side of wax vs sealant vs coating
He doesn’t like to put that much work in lol but that would be amazing!!
@@awaisakram8573 There will be no difference when freshly applied. The main differences will be durability.

You should do a "weekend warrior" essentials video. Best couple of choices in each category plus supplies etc.
Scott Webber As a hobbyist detailer, I’d love if he did it.
Im a weekend warrior. Comfortable on just topping more wax and sealant lol . Im not confidence to prep and polish .
Good luck
Been using the turtle wax graphene flex spray. Easy to apply, lasts forever, and the gloss/ shine is insane.
How is it holding up now?
I don't know how these spray on protection are the best option. Last 6-12 months for $15 and super easy.

I recently bought the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions. Absolutely love it. The shine was fantastic. Easy on off. Very impressive.
It last a long time too. It says up to 12 months but at 14 mine was still going strong.
I've tried the meguiars ceramic hybrid, and the durability and water sheeting compared to traditional waxes was soooooooooo much better and super easy to apply. Glad I invested in a ceramic type wax.
does it make the microfiber towel dysfunctional due to the coat's hydrophobic qualities?
id like to know about the towel as well
A K I’ve used meguiars ceramic hybrid for the past 6 months & love it.
Is the meguiars ceramic better than the turtle wax ceramic?

What about using a wax and then a ceramic spray like Meguiars on top of that?
@@Outlawzand1 i think the opposite way would be the best way... first the ceramic spray and than the carnauba wax on top.
I'm considering this method for my car but so far no information!!!

I have had good luck with the Mothers CMX spray ceramic coating as well as the Meguiars ceramic spray coating. These types of spray ceramic infused coatings are my go to for paint protection now, I layer on carnauba for that extra warmth. Great results for me! 🇨🇦
ME TOO👍
I like the feeling of applying the wax, moreover we can apply at least 4 times a year. If coating, i do not enjoy while applying.

As always, another FANTASTIC video from: Pan the Organizer. I personally love Turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray
Thanks Evin!
Thanks Nasim!
Why is it out of the question? Maybe I am missing something
Haha
I couldn't agree with you more.
I'm with you man. I enjoy it as well.
I put ceramic coating on my bbq
that sounds dumb.

I used carnauba wax for decades until I found Klasse all-in-one. Easy on, easy off, great result. Now I'm climbing the steep learning curve of the ceramics. I want to get it right the first time.
Applied Sonax BSD yesterday, always does me well here in the UK, especially in the winter.
Collinite Insulator 845 has been my go-to for years now. I absolutely LOVE that wax. Does it last forever? No, but it leaves an amazing shine that my customers love.
That’s a good thing. Keeps them coming back. Lol
collinite 845 = HAZE :(
@@giogioo023 Might I suggest you're using too much. It needs to be barely visible when applying. Leave for 10-15mins then buff with clean microfibre. I've never had any hazing.
Another great video from Mr Pan !!!
What i use :
Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax, respraying it every month.
And Meguiars last touch after every wash.
Im a private driver so i wash my car daily .
Thanks
my preference is to first apply Meguiars polish, buff off to a nice shine, then apply Meguiars NTX polymer sealant. Lasts 6 - 8 months. If I have time, I will use a quality wax (after the NXT) on my roof & bonnet, just for the extra protection.
how do you become a private driver? and how much does it pay?

Griot's has a ceramic spray now..it's great.
Griot's is nice, but much more expensive compared to the others for sometimes only a minor improvement over the others.
I am watching this for the second time and it is still great. Great information. Extremely helpful.
Glad it was helpful!

Great video, I like these kind. I also like that you differentiate SiO2 spray sealants from ceramic coatings. I couldn't help myself from scrolling down though the comments to see how many afflicted with Beadmaker mania were triggered. They're sad Pan, you left them out. 🙁
I simply forgot Bead Maker lol. I talk about it so much in other videos though... :)
I use them all.
But it depends on the situation.
Show car = super deep gloss and extremely shiny reflection = expensive show wax in multiple layers = Swissvax Crystal Rock
High end detail with high protection level = adding 2 + years of protection = ceramic coating
Maintenance wash for ceramic coating = adding some protection and keeping the ceramic coating up to strength = spray sealant
Intermediate detail with a nice finish = deep gloss 6 months + protection = high quality paste sealant = Fusso Coat
Quick wash with some shine = washing and adding some shine = Spray wax when drying

Bead maker is missing.I prefer waxes and paint sealant because they are the most easiest way to apply and they are less expensive
Does Bead Maker fit in here? I’ve been wondering. Would you clay, 2 step paint correct and use Bead Maker?
Matt Ahmer if you’re going to put the effort towards paint correction you typically want the strongest protection as your foundation. Sealant or ceramic coating. Bead maker is more of a topper to enhance your base coat with a sacrificial layer.
Im this early only for PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN the man
I started detailing cars last summer in Dallas Texas and have applied turtle wax seal and shine on about 15 cars and 5 cars with the new hybrid solutions.
Thank you Pan your videos have helped me choose the best products for the services I offer and helped me keep the cost affordable for the average guy
Thanks Pan
Clear, concise and informative.
Great upload, Παντελή! 👍👍
👍🏻👍🏻
Im liking the ceramic spray protectant because its easier and quicker to apply. The whole point is to protect from the sun and Im willing to sacrifice protection time for ease of application since I dont want to ruin my finish. Thanks for this video it was very helpfull.
Pan Pan Pan....There you are once again showcasing sever quality products and clearly explaining the differences of each product. An excellent video explaining each product and potential uses.
Anyone can watch this video and make an informed decision on what route to take for their vehicle's paint protection...Well done...
Thanks!
Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
Thanks for sharing your experience! How are winters in NS? What temperatures do you go down to? Here in Quebec, we can sometimes go as low as -35C.
Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax and TW ceramic coating spray are excellent products you can't beat the value and durability for the price!
How do you remove the dried out streaks from the ceramic coating. I used the 3 in 1 griots and I notice some streaking.
I believe you would need to polish that down and re coat
Add some more of the ceramic coating ontop and it will allow to reset and wipe out
You should do a video reviewing Armor All products, being its the most used product in the US.
But they overall are pretty cheap. Meguiers is much better and turtle wax falls somewhere in the middle.
Matt ...He can't, it's shite
What do you think of this combo powerlock + colonite + beadmaker ?
Awesome
I second this, although it is hard for me to tell when the powerlok and 845 is gone, because I use bead maker as a drying aid
Pan, no P&S Bead Maker in this video. I started using it because of the review you made. By far my favorite. What do you think of using Car Pro Cquartz UK 3.0 and topping with bead maker?
I belive in one of his old videos he show how he cleans his own BMW which had Cquartz UK on it and he uses Bead maker as a finishing coat.
I talk about Bead Maker so much that I simply forgot about it in this video lol. Oh well. But yes for gloss it’s nuts. And I loved it on my previous BMW that had CQuartz UK 3.0 on it! Watch my Bead Maker review: ruclips.net/video/J7uc4AlarpU/видео.html
I just did a complete Decon Wash, Clay Lube and 3 coats of Mirror Shine all from Torque Detail and my 2001 C5 Corvette has never looked better.
Just saying they all have found a good way to confuse an average person with detailing. But I was glad to find someone who actually sat and talked about each one separate.
Thanks for the positive feedback!
I love it when he says “Paaaaaan, the organizer” 😁
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Looking forward to those grephene coating videos! Great videos Pan! Greetings from Greece!
Henry Freeman Hank’s Detailing He is a great guy!
Hehe thanks bro!!
I finally got to use the Ceramic Wax after all the cleaning on my vehicle , It was easy to use and it made the paint really pop even though it was really clear before I used the wax ! Its really a nice product and easy to use . Not sure I would of used it if wasn't for your video ! Thank you
Thanks Jaime!
Hi PAN. Since the first days i have a car i was in love by water beading. Now after waching your videos i conclued that water sheading is far more important...for protetion. Thanks for all your work and sharing.
Thanks!
just picked up the Turtle Wax Ice Seal n Shine, i’m excited to try it!
Where is the bead maker in that video?
Shannon Connock it isn’t in this video, but Pan has reviewed Bead Maker in his previous videos. I was simply stating it’s a combo that I use and that it’s a combo that works for me.
Exactly what i'm really want to know. And this video comeup, really helpfull, thanks sir!
Thanks for the positive feedback Steve!
Great video Pan. Learned so much from this video 👍🏼
Thanks!! How did you discover my channel?
Great video, Pan. 👍
My personal choices are paste carnauba waxes in the summer and sealants in the winter.
What happened to Bead Maker???
Try CarPro Lite if you are just wanting to start with Ceramic Coatings. Wipe on, wipe off and lasts up to 12 months.
Just try the new Hybrid products from turtle wax, they are even greater.
Couldn’t agree more, I’d love a go at Ceramic Coating but we don’t have the conditions over here unless you have a garage
@@lockergr used CQLITE on numerous cars. Awesome to use even outside and you can coat a car quite quickly. If you want to get greater durability, you can apply 2 layers.
@Pan TheOrganizer, Great video!! really good break down.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! How did you discover my channel by the way?
@@PanTheOrganizer I like to watch car detailing videos on youtube.. and usually some of your videos show up on the page.. Great videos, great review, I always found it entertaining and informative
Muy buen video. Muy bien explicado. Te felicito, eres muy bueno en lo que haces.
Love those kinda comparisons, thanks Pan)
👍🏻
Have had carpro c quartz on my Subaru for a few years now and about to re apply and the paint looks new on a 15 year old car now. the Australian sun is intense and I parked out in the sun at work, the coating is the best has lasted so much longer than I expected in the Australian conditions and can’t recommend carpro products enough I use the spray on sealants on my family’s cars and it’s amazing the results and the drivers are surprised the cars look great 👍 I can’t get enough of your recommendations and your explanations of the products and procedures have made my car shine like new
Thanks for the positive feedback!
