Pan I am confused I do not know in which cases you are using a detailer. For example I bought a TW 3 IN 1 DETAILER Here in the UK last week I have already wax my car 1 month ago and I have top up with turtle wax flex wax. When and how often I need to use a detailer? What is a difference with a detailer vs sealant or versus TW flex wax for example? Can you help me to comprehend that? Please?

Big fan of this line from Turtle Wax. Used the Ceramic Spray Coating about 6 months ago on both my cars in a ten stage detail with the Wet Wax and the Wash and Wax as toppers in the meantime. They still look as good as the day I did them, and this stuff gives incredibly durable protection! The only downside, I don't get to detail my cars as often anymore!

  • @Audittr2108

I have the whole range. I found the polish to be excellent and very versatile, the sealant was pretty good, the shampoo left decent protection for a shampoo, the detailer was pretty streaky and the wet wax was nice to use and left a very slick finish.

Terrific tutorial Pan. I just love this product. Am actually listening/watching while I'm prepping my and my wifes winter wheels with the Ceramic spray wax - 2nd coat. I feel bad for the folks who have not had good or varied results with this stuff.
I really need to emphasize YOUR emphasis on FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS and not over spraying etc.. Additionally I use distilled h2o in a separate sprayer to finely mist either (as you instruct) into your favorite fluffy or directly (very lightly) onto the panal for immediate wipe down. It quickly illiminates streaking/high spotting and immensely enhances pop!
Btw...that 3-1 Detailer is a full 32 oz. here in the States. What a steal! For me - all results have been steller. Thx again for your tips and your channel. Merci bien!!

I'm just a driveway Sunday morning bucket washer using water directly from a rainwater butt ( tap water = mineral stains)
My wife bought the green bottle ceramic coating as a Christmas stocking filler for me.
Unfortunately I never read the instructions, used it in a similar manner to the cheap products I usually use and slapped it on.
I stopped using it ,after the first go, as it left a thick gunge on the cars which took a lot of elbow work to smooth away.

Thanks for the update Pan. The paint on my wife’s car wasn’t too bad, so I used the polish to remove the very minor swirls. I bought a used car with heavy swirls this year, and the TW polish didn’t touch the damage on hexlogic orange pads (didn’t expect it to but had a go on the bonnet/hood and would have been there for weeks) so I retreated to Megs 105 to get that damage out and then refined with TW polish on the second stage instead of 205. Great finish, long open time and non dusting.
I have used the ceramic spray on two cars in direct sun (one dark, one light and also a Pearl red in the shade). Personally can’t see what difficulty people are complaining about in some areas of the internet. No streaking but I do use a damp microfibre after the dry cross pattern application and before the buff - a bit like with the polish.
I use the ceramic wash. Whilst there are absolutely no suds, I don’t notice any issues with cleaning power. Perhaps it is due to the protection offered by the previous TW treatments as the dirt just comes off with snow foam and the wash is really to top up protection.
I also use the ceramic drying wax product as a LSP. In the U.K., without discount codes TW is fairly expensive, especially the shampoo given how much you need to put in the bucket. The rest is fine as a little goes a long way.
Overall I am happy, 8 months after the correction and first application of the spray sealant there is no deterioration of protection at all, but the car is maintained frequently. Two cars live outside, right next to the sea and under a tree very popular with birds! 🤬
So overall, I agree with what you say, except for the price for the shampoo given the dilution requirements. The range seems to stop me inflicting any damage with regular washes, is very hydrophobic, hence I can honestly say that I wouldn’t recommend use on a boat unless you like slipping over or falling in frequently - as I have found to my cost 😀.

Hi Pan! I am new to the car detailing world but I have learned a tremendous amount from your videos. So thank you for that! I haven't gotten into the clay bar and polishing aspect of detailing but I have all the equipment/tools to properly wash my car and follow your step by step process when washing and drying the car. The only part I haven't done yet, but would really like to master is the protection of the paint (i.e. wax, sealant, ceramic). I watched your other video that talks about the difference between wax, sealant, and ceramic coating, and based on the information, I believe a ceramic coating is the way to go for me. So I would like to use the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating but is it ok if I use it after I wash and dry my car, even if I didn't clay bar or polish the paint? Also, once I apply the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating, is it better to apply the same Ceramic Spray Coating, let's say every 1-2 months afterwards, or should I just apply the maintenance Ceramic Wet Wax every 1-2 months afterwards because another layer of Ceramic Spray Coating so quickly after the last application won't really do anything? Thanks in advance for your response!

Hey don't mean to but in. I am also new to this channel and I assume Pan has a video instructing use but definitely learn how to use the clay bar before you do it especially on darker vehicles. I have actually made a few very regrettable mistakes on a black alfa once. (Edit: white cars also be careful with, you can damage the paint and not notice because of glare. Also good lighting for wax's and polishes essential. Hand held that you can move around the vehicle. ) Hey all the best, car detailing is so much fun esp with all this new tech. One thing I learned is wear disposable gloves with a lot of the chemicals. Years of absorption into the skin may cause health problems. Also do in ventilation or wear mask. B well.

Pan, you've singlehandedly brought me back into the detailing world after the purchase of my first new muscle car. I went with the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray coating after fully claying and decontaminating the car and WOW have these products improved in the last 10-15 years.
Regarding the product: I put on the first coat a couple weeks back (less IS more or you will be wiping smears endlessly) and then life got in the way of the second coat. The car has been driven and washed with some mid-tier Meguiar's soaps since then. Do I need to do anything else besides ensuring a clean surface before applying the ceramic spray again for the second coat?

I really like the Hybrid Solutions range and have used them for quite a while with great results. I recently bought a brand new Camry, and with its awful, soft Toyota clearcoat and dealer-installed scratches, it needed a polish. After a full decon., I used my forced rotation DA polisher with HS Polish and Wax and a fine pad. It resulted in a great looking finish. I then added the HS Ceramic Spray after a 24-hour wait.
The problem I've found is that my orange 80/20 microfiber towels leave thousands of tiny fibers on the coating after buffing! They are like little magnets stuck on the surface. I can use a cotton handkerchief and remove them, or perhaps move them out of the way, but the towels themselves don't, and they never go away, until after it rains or I foam/contact wash the car, using, of course, the HS Wash and Wax. In the right light, you can see this fuzz all over the car because the car is that dark Underground color. It shows every little imperfection. :-(
The 16" x 16" towels are fairly new and have been machine-washed and dried 'correctly' several times. I don't recall where i bought them.
Anyone else come across this? Is it the spray, or the towels, or both? It would be nice not to coat my Camry in velour! ;-)

I would stay with seal n shine. This “ceramic” line is a pain to work with. The soap has a horrible dirt removing capability, and the wax is not user friendly compared to so many other items on the market. I’ve tried this line on 3 vehicles, and a custom painted golf cart. I threw the bottles out after 6 months of struggling to find a quality end result. I still find myself going back to shine supply’s products after years of trying others. Seal n shine is still the top of turtle wax for my needs. Just my 2 cents.

They use their own car cleaning products. In order for me to remove their products before using the Turtle Wax products should I spray the car with some cleaner? If so which one? Once the car is clean then I will use a clay bar. I’m going to be purchasing 4 products based on your recommendations. In this order of use.

Interestingly, I used the Hybrid Solutions Polish and Wax then 2 coats of the Ceramic Spray on both my new Camry and my 12-year-old truck after the same full decon of both.
I washed both yesterday for the first time, using Bilt Hamber's Touchless followed by a foam contact wash and then a McKee's Rinseless drying. Immediately after the Bilt Hamber step, I found the truck's lower half was only sheeting but the Camry was beading like crazy. Even after a full wash, the truck still looked not as good as with the Hybrid Solutions' first rain . The Camry has done many more miles too. It got a topper with HS Wash and Wax and the beading was awesome.
For the truck, I did another HS Ceramic Spray coating on the passenger side and Griot's 3 in 1 Wax (2nd application 24 hrs later) on the driver's side. It'll be interesting to see their comparison, especially since I didn't do a full decon before applying the Griot's.

As long as the paint feels slick and the water continues to bead and sheet properly, you can continue maintenance as you are doing with the Ceramic 3-in-1 detailer and you can also use the Ceramic Wet Wax as a drying aid.
Once every 6 months, do a deeper clean with an iron remover, perhaps a claybar if the paint feels contaminated, then polish the surface if needed, and reapply two coats of the Ceramic Spray Coating, 24 hrs between coats.
I also made a more recent updated video of all the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions products including all their newest releases here: ruclips.net/video/TeQRJHNvL34/видео.html

Thanks for the video! You answered many questions for me. .. but I still have a couple more 😅
    - what should you wash your car with BEFORE applying the ‘polish & wax’?
    - if it’s a brand new car just drove home from the dealer, should I skip the ‘polish & wax’?
    - right after applying the ‘polish & wax’ should you immediately apply the ‘spray coating’?

Thanks for uploading this great presentation. You did a really great job of explaining all the different turtle wax products, and how to use each one. Turtle wax is the only product I've ever used on my cars, and I've believed it to be the best, or one of the best available. I've never felt let down by the polish results I achieve. I've only recently heard about the ceramic range, and was a bit confused as to what product to use in relevant situations. Your feature here has been fantastic in explaining each product, and it makes it easier for me to choose which turtle wax products are the best combination for me to use. I look forward to purchasing and using this new product range. Thanks for that.

Hi Pan. After watching and enjoying many of your videos, I became disorganized. I've made many trips to the auto parts store buying and returning detailing products. My last switch was returning TW HS Ceramic products for TW Seal and Shine after seeing another one of your videos. I think I'm organized now!

@@PanTheOrganizer I discovered your channel about a month ago via google when searching for “Turtle Wax” and “ceramic coatings”. I’m wired to study things in detail and have been enjoying the learning process. While studying the many products, I quickly realized I had to learn the methods too (learn “The Art of the Detail”!). Anyway, I’ve decided to use a detailing process that may be considered semi-pro (tires/wheels, foam wash, contact wash, iron, clay, polish, IPA, ceramic coat). Then I went to the store to exchange the TW Seal and Shine for TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic products (again)! NOW, I am finally organized.

I used the Hybrid Ceramic Spray Coating today on my black car. It streaked like heck. I tried three different times during the day. After washing my car partially cloud at 65 degrees. Then sunset and in garage. Streaked regardless. I tried the moist towel technique to take out the streaks. It's not easy. I had to really put some elbow grease to the get the streaks out with moist clothe. I applied some on the windshield too. Will have to wait for tomorrow to take it out to see if the windshield looks hazy or has streaks. Anyway, I was pretty winded after buffing out the streaks. Stay tuned.

@@gxs8p578 Still streaks. Not as bad though. Still noticeable. I have a new car after an accident and it's a metallic blue and more forgiving than black. What works to take out streaks is going over the car with elbow grease and a moist microfiber cloth. I think the instructions tell you to use that method if there is streaking. Hope this helps.

So I am completely new to car detailing and recently discovered your channel. I saw your “Ultimate car wash starter kit” video and I am slowly building up a shopping list of items to purchase. My question(s) to you good sir, is how often should I do a maintenance wash? How often should I clay or wax my car? How are these timelines affected via seasons (year round sunny weather vs seasonal weather such as snow)? When I do wash/detail my car, what are the Minimum, Recommended, and “Extra” number of products I should be using? You have many videos and I’m not sure which ones may answer these questions. You do not have to answer here if you plan on making a video on this. Thank you!!!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 года назад +1

How often you wash your car really depends on you. You have to decide what works best in your schedule and how clean you want your car to always look. I detail my car twice weekly. You should clay and wax your car twice yearly at least (once in the spring and once late in the fall before winter). Of course it depends on which protectant you're going for. Is is a 2 month wax? A 5 month sealant? A one year spray coating? A two year full blown ceramic coating?
Here's a cool tutorial that I did on spring and fall details: ruclips.net/video/YZZ-Piyraas/видео.html
I have over 550 videos on my channel, so you should be able to find pretty much everything you'll need to learn how to clean, enhance and protect pretty much any surface both interior and exterior.

Hey Pan, great video! I liked how you explained what they do and the order to use. You mentioned the shine and seal product vaguely. Can you kindly advise when to use, and what order with these products you shared?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  7 месяцев назад +1

You mean Seal N Shine? That's a product in the lower tier, more value oriented line called the ICE line, not the Hybrid Solutions line in this video which is their top tier lineup, hence why I didn't really talk about that specific product in this video. Seal N Shine is a traditional paint sealant, that lasts 4-6 months on average. The Ceramic Spray Coating (green label) shown in this video can last twice as long.
