Do you know why when I turn on my 2003 pilot it is fine but after a few seconds or start rolling back the VSA kicks on and limits my rev speed, I have to pull over and restart the car and drive fast real quick
I have a 2007 Pilot, 4WD. My triangle light came on when the front left speed sensor went out. I have since changed the sensor and confirmed function through my X Tool D7, all four wheels are showing the same speed in live data when I drive straight. I found the VSA sensor neutral reset function, but I still can't get the triangle light to go off. The only code I am getting is 84-1. A friend tried to reset with his Autel, still no luck.
What initially made that light cut on? Mine is on (VSA and triangle light); came on while driving. I saw a video saying that low oil or expired oil may cause it. What typically causes this light to illuminate?
I mean for a standard VSA sensor neutralization relearn with Honda’s HDS scan tool our dealer would just charge the standard $89 diag fee typically, $250 is a bit rich.
you are a life savor I was wondering why my autel could not clear it for my customer, I will try this in 2 hours. liked and subscribed, pump more videos of what this scanner can do. how did you figure it out? so bad ass man. I would think you went thought with each hot functions menu to figure it out, you cant find this info even with autel. thanks again for saving the day. looking forward to what more this scanner can do. im sure it can program keys and do a bunch of things im un aware of lol
I had this VSA & the triangle light went On yesterday on my Honda Pilot 2006 2WD. I kept driving at steady speed till I got home then switch off the engine & re-stated & the VSA & the triangle alarm did not re-appear. What could be the reason for this.
my vs and abs and vtm-4 came on and the warning trainangle just had my axel fixed battery died so i jump it so you think if i change the battery it will fix the problem
So it's just a computer program? Not a actual part ? Because I have the vsa light on and the triangle with the exclamation mark and when I go over 3500 rpm it jerks??
I got it from a Cornwell tool truck. It is from autel. It is the 906ts I believe. I specifically got it because it will relearn tire pressure monitoring system hence the orange square in the upper right corner
I have both VSA light and Triangle but when I connected my autel and tried to access the steering it said “This function is not supported on this vehicle” I have a 2007 Honda Pilot any thoughts on this
Hey had this same issue, figured it out. 2007 is different where you have to connect to it then go to Diagnosis -> Control unit -> ABS/VSA -> Adjustment -> All sensors.then you do the reset
If it comes back on most likely a wheel speed sensor issue, either wiring to the sensor or sensor itself. I think this car may be one that has magnets in the wheel bearings. If a bearing is put in backwards it will not read on the speed sensor
Normally with no problem yes but this vehicles battery had been dead for a long time and the control module had lost calibration and the light comes on automatic at start up

Normally something to do with speed sensors or steering angle sensor. Traction control components. This one was a dead battery for extended time.

Could be intermittent wheel speed sensor problem. Hard to say if you don't have any codes in memory

It can be a part has gone bad. You have to read the codes stored. This car only had codes for steering angle sensor not initialized

This scanner is the more expensive autel 906 I believe but they do make a cheaper one that does everything this one does but not wireless

Yes it was also coming on after a short drive. If this doesn't fix your vsa light you could need a wheel sensor

Yes it will work. I just did it with my MaxiCheck MX808. Took a while because I just got the MX808. I am still trying to figure out all the functions.
