Hi Gerard, Thank you for this, my message appeared after a Diag Tool check too. I wrote this out and have added it to your comments in case anyone want to copy paste your instructions and go out to the car with it. Part 1 Resetting the ABS Icon Connect pin 9 to pin 4 1. Hold Break down Turn Ignition ON ABS light will illuminate Wait for ABS light to extinguish 2. Release brake ABS light will illuminate Press Brake Again Light will extinguish again 3. Release Brake pedal once again This time ABS light will blink twice and extinguish for good - confirming the reset Part 2 Resetting the VSA Connect pin 9 to an Earth 1. Turn Ignition ON 2. Wait for the ABS light extinguish 3. Select VSA switch to OFF 4. Wait for the ABS light to illuminate 5. Select VSA switch back to ON The ABS light should now be set and all the warnings should be cleared. Check by turning Ignition OFF and back ON, all Warnings should extinguish
Wow....works like magic on Acura MDX 2006. Big thanks Gerard. You are God sent. These icons ⚠️, VSA and ABS appeared after my MDX was scanned two years ago. Every effort to clear them by car mechanic was abortive and the sight of them anytime I enter into my car was like a pin in the ass that needed to go away. Eventually, I stumbled on this Gerard's video this midnight 00:21AM and having read all the good comments here, I could not wait till morning but rose to try this trick which worked out for me. I have an appointment tomorrow with my mechanic on this issue. Too bad, appointment is cancelled. Just on time, Gerard happened to me. Big thanks Gerard
hey , I tried doing this on my 06 Acura mdx , after shorting pin 4 and 9 all I see is my check engine light and other lights blinking , the abs doesn't tho , any suggestions ?
@@timmacnulty8947😂😂 at least the pin is now out of your ass 😂😂. I laughed so hard, yet I have one in my ass.. I can't get the triangle to go away even after this procedure
Worked for me, although the timing on the VSA button push needs to be quick (don't hold it). Took me four tries-- here's the procedure I used thanks to your video: STEP 1 Pin 4 and 9 Hold brake pedal down Turn ignition on ABS light comes on ABS light turns off Remove foot off brake pedal ABS light turns on Hold brake pedal down ABS light turns off Remove foot off brake pedal ABS light should blink twice STEP 2 Ground pin 9 Switch ignition on ABS light goes off Press VSA off button quickly ABS light comes back on Press VSA off button quickly All warning lights should be off
Per ModestMaker instruction regarding having to quickly press the ‘VSAOFF’ button in the reset procedure is GOLDEN! Much appreciated! 2007 Honda Pilot AWD here.
Just lovely . My car has been sitting in the shop for 10 days. They couldn’t figure it out. finally, this guy come up with a genius idea, and I did it myself for less than 5 minutes booooommmmm .
Straightforward and to the point unlike other channels where it takes the host 5 minutes talking about nothing just to keep the viewer on to help his channel's engagement. 💪
Thank you for sharing, this procedure worked for my Honda Pilot 2007. I had the VSA light turned on when a mechanic did a full scan trying to find a code for a transmission issue, I have a cheap USB scanner and i was getting code 84, you have to do the two step for this to work, clear ABS then VSA, however, you can perform this procedure by letting the jumper clip on the OBDII connector between pin 9 and 4, pin 4 is ground, therefore, the second step when you remove the clip and bring another ground was not really necessary, you can perform both systems reset without removing the jumper clip, i just did it and the VSA light is gone. Another happy customer, thank you sir.
Thanks for sharing this DYI tip on how to reset the ABS & VSA warning lights. I tried this reset process and all our brake-related lights turned off, saving me a bunch of $$$!! We had a leaking windshield that caused the VSA light, ABS and BRAKE lights to stay on after a really bad rain storm (1/2" water on the driver side floor mat). After having the windshield replaced, we took the 08' Accord to the dealership to have it diagnosed; they said the VSA modulator needed to be replaced, for $2045!! My net search on this issue found this video and 2 minutes later, all lights were reset... thanks for posting, Gerard !!!
Genius. All I did was scan this damm 2007 accord and it set the VSA off. Only this procedure worked, it's perfect, just do it in a speedy timely movement, not too long between the steps. I wrote the instructions on paper. Thank you so much, this was a real real problem today.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have read forum after forum, and they were all BS. They all left out the jumping the pins. Just push the break pedal and just push the button. None of that works, and i was skeptical of that too. I have done enough work to know there should be a little something else. One of your commenters said that pin 4 is ground. They were right and you dont have to take the jumper out. Just leave it where it is and do the other step without the break.
I changed my VVT solenoid and my 07 Honda Odyssey kept going into limp mode. I came across this video and it worked. My van is running better than ever. Thx for the help.
It worked on my Accord 2.4 ivtec ! Firstly I changed my gierarsensor unter the driver seat and then I did this prosedure with your video. After 3 years I did it. Thank you !! It works !!!
Honda accord 2006 hybrid, didn't make it in first try, it worked after 4th or 5th try, it got on after shop used snap on, and they later told me abs module is bad, used on ebay was 400 or 600$ , i got across this video and i can't thank you enough.
Thank you sooo much. I had my wife's 2006 Honda CR-V in for a stuck Intake Manifold Modulator fix and when I got the car back the VSA indicator was on and would not go off. I searched the web for solutions, and got a bunch of different answers. I filtered out the ones that sounded too hillbilly and tried yours. I skipped the ABS section since only her VSA was on. Bah-Dah-Boom. I got her car fixed! (With your help.) Thanks.
@@JenniferFlores-tt4hu Jennifer - I thought the EXACT same thing as you, that I would short something out - but it turns out this worked perfectly. I would only suggest you use a small (as in "thin") paper clip, and a clip-lead if you can scrounge one up. It'll make it easier to connect the ground while you're sitting in the driver's seat. The hard thing for me was finding some metal part under the dash to find a ground. Some people use the hinge on the door jam. If you can't find any wire, cut the ends off an old extension cord and use one side of that. You can split the two wires by splitting it down the middle with a pair of scissors, and "zip" them apart into two separate wires. Good Luck.
Had my 2006 CRV scanned at a local shop and left with the VSA indicator on. I watched the video but the ABS didn't behave as described. I tried it three times and moved on to the second step and it cleared it right away! Thank you!
@@sujithkondabrolu1684so my 2006 Honda Crv also has this issue when using a snap on scan tool. The warning light is the only lit light. It’s code 84-1 so the first step should help with this issue?
06 acura tl here. Noticed brake lights would not go off. Brake stopper broke into pieces. Replaced that and the brake light switch. Solved the brake light problem. But then VSA and the /!\ lights came on. Vsa button inoperable. Felt like while trying to drive I had the brake pedal and accelerator pedal pressed at the same time. Scanned codes and 68 and 84 came up. Readjusted the brake light switch. I had it in too far. Scanned again and got the 2 same codes. But the car drives fine. VSA light disappeared but the /!\ light remained. Followed the steps provided by this video and all lights on the dashboard are off. Car drives fine. Afraid to plug up the scanner and run the codes again. Don't want to trigger the dash lights. Thank you! Hope this didn't deactivate the ABS and VSA systems but don't want to press the VSA button again either. Again thank you for this video I was ready to throw a lit match to this car.
After using a snap-on diagnostic tool and getting these warning lights after a full system scan. I proceeded to go into the individual calibration settings, and went into the ABS calibration. Do a full reset (it came up twice as procedure not recognised) after the second I called it a day. On reversing the vehicle out of the bay and back in to the yard all fault lights turned off!! Please make sure that all four wheels have turned several times forward and backward on level ground before going any further than what the diagnostic tool has already done, full scan!! If this fails try going in the calibration menu and to ABS recalibration sensors. If after driving forward and backward they're still on and one of the symptoms is brake pressure switch and/or sensor logic then it's a faulty wire in the ABS module. This can be repaired for around £150. Before doing any pin to pin shorting try all of the above. If all of the above fails then you have nothing to lose. Just remember after having the abs module brake switch/sensor logic the ⚠️ light will stay on permanently you need to do the diagnostic calibration scan (all the ABS and VSA lights will be on again, don't lose faith) just drive back and forth a good few meters and the system will recognise this and reset. This hack should be tried after all else fails.
Thanks! I popped a check engine light due to a dead thermostat, mechanic used his snap-on megabucks tool to clear the codes after replacing the parts, and it triggered the Triangle and VSA light. I used Pin's 4 and 9, since 4 is the chassis ground, and your trick worked like a charm! Much appreciated.
THANK YOU!! This was a huge help. Was so annoying. Watched so many vids and read so many damn articles. Many came close but I am glad I couldn't do all of them bc I prob would have fried my car LOL. For anyone out there, this works on a 2005 Acura RL.
My 2006 Honda Pilot EX Model in step#2 short pin 9 to ground won't work, then read below comment some pal said YOU STILL NEED TO SHORT PIN 4 & PIN 9 TOGETHER (Note: Pin 9 not short to ground) and it work after 2nd try. In the 2nd attempt you must hold the VSA BUTTON until you see the VSA & THE TRIANGULAR on the dash flashing then go off, you are done. Make sure you REMOVE THE PIN before starting the engine.
Nice video, but it ain't straightfoward enough. So if people are better reader than viewer, i copy here the instructions that i found on club tsx : 1) Jump pins 4 and 9. 2) Press and hold the brake pedal and switch on the ignition. 3) Wait for the ABS light to turn off and then remove your foot from the brake pedal. 4) Wait for the ABS light to turn on, then press and hold the brake pedal again. 5) ABS light should turn off, then remove your foot from the brake pedal. 6) Wait for two flashes of ABS light. If it flashes it means that errors are erased. Check the errors (with the pins jumped) - just turn the ignition on, if ABS light does not flash, no errors are in memory. Now the main part. VSA neutral position setting Do not touch the brake pedal anymore. 1) Jump pin 9 to chassis ground (I have used a bolt on a door hinge). 2) Turn the ignition on, after ABS light turns off, quickly press the "VSA off" button. 3) After ABS light turns on again, quickly press the "VSA off" button. 4) Now should be a lot of different blinks and flashes and all lights ABS, VSA and triangle should turn off. The problem's solved. 5) Open the beer bottle! And yes it works 100% :)
Just wanted to say to others my ABS light came on my Nissan 1994 pickup and thinking I should check my ABS sensors it ended up being a brake fluid level at minimum. A little fluid fixed the problem.
WINNER, i have acura tsx/ european honda accord . Had my cat converter replaced and this light came on when car was fixed. Mechanic said has nothing to do with his work. I did this method and worked
Thanks brother. It totally worked for my 2007 Honda pilot. After the mechanic worked on my airbag, triangle light and VSA would not come off. I watched your video, and it worked. Thanks again.
I tried this procedure on my 2007 Honda Pilot and the triangle is still on. After following the VSA procedure triangle light did not blink. Also the VAS off button still not working. Care to share more of your experience? Chaplain.
I just needed to re-set my Element's ABS light, triggered by my NYS inspection. Jumping 4 & 9 and following the steps worked. My BlueDriver failed to do the reset. Thank you.
Thank you!!!! I have been in the Honda sites and everyone had the First part but no one had the second part where we ground the 9 pin. Mine started post COVID lockdown. My battery went dead from not driving. My roommate is a mechanic and has worked for Honda in the past and has never seen this happen. We jumped the battery and then all the lights on the dash turned on. They pulled out their cheap scanner and didn’t get enough detail. Then pulled out his SnapOn scanner and the details all pointed at the the battery going flat. Put the battery on a charger for the night. Cleared all the codes and the TCS light didn’t turn off. No matter what we did. We tried the ABS reset multiple times. On level ground with and without the door open. No changes the light would keep turn back in after driving a mile. Today we tried what you posted and it is now working correctly!! Thank you again!!
THIS WORKED FLAWLESSLY I HAVE A FOXWELL AND NEEDS UPDATING SO I CAN'T DO IT THE EASY WAY FOUND THIS DID IT FIXED IT AND A FEW ORHERS IN THE COMMENT SECTION IS CORRECT JUST LEAVE PIN 4 AND 9 JUMPED THEN U DO THE PROCEDURE FOR BOTH THE ABS & VSA RESET SINCE PIN 4 IS ALREADY A GROUND NICE WORK TO ALL 😎😎🍻🍻
You rock!!! This freaking light has been driving me crazy!! Fixed. Thank you so much! Stealership wanted $200! 2006 Pilot (took three attempts... probably my fault).
I can confirm that this works on the 9th gen Honda accords from 2013 to 2016. But if you have the push button start the beginning of the procedure is as follows do not hold the brake pedal down and start the engine!!! Push the start button twice without pressing and holding the brake pedal to get into the on position where it shows the instrument panel lights, then after about 2 seconds the ABS light will come on, press and hold the brake pedal until the light goes off and release the brake pedal and then press it again when it comes back on and then when it turns off release the brake pedal and you will see the ABS light blink twice. Once that is done turn the car off by pressing the start button one more time without touching the brake pedal and then remove your jumper wire and you will be good to go and all your lights will be off the next time you start your car!!! This totally works, you just have to follow the video to the letter, especially if you have the VSA light on in your vehicle. I do not have the VSA light on in my 9th gen Accord, so all I needed to do was follow the first step with pressing and releasing the brake pedal when the ABS light came on two times. If you follow the video with the exception for you guys out there who have the push start, you have to follow the beginning of the procedure how I explained in the beginning of this comment... Tools needed for you guys out there that are unsure, are as follows 2 inch piece of wire that the exposed part is nice and thin about the diameter of a paperclip, or a paperclip itself on pins 4 and 9 like the video states. You can use just about any type of wire or paper clip and for the guys that need to reset the VSA light, again you can use any wire, but only have the wire on the 9th pin and it needs to be grounded somewhere in the car. Meaning you have to ground it to any part that you know is grounded!!!
Thank you Soo much, I did a head gasket on my sister's car but let it sit for 3 months and after all repairs done this light was ON, finally got some free time followed your steps and gone :D
For those who have earlier model 7th gens with no vsa this worked for me TCS pressure sensor neutral position memorization (normally you need the HDS or a good scan tool) but here's the work around. jump pins 4 and 9 on the DLC with the key OFF watch the ABS indicator light area. Turn the key on, ABS light goes on, then off after 2 seconds. within 2 seconds, push the TCS off switch push the button again only AFTER the ABS light comes back on. The TCS triangle should blink, then the 3 lights should go out together. remove the jumper between pins 4 and 9 of the DLC.
This works but only if you get the correct pins. These are horribly marked and you can easily get pin 16 instead of pin 9. If so you will blow the ACG S fuse (15a) which will give you the flashing green immobilizer key lamp on the dash, and the car will then not start. To test that you have the correct pin, test the pin with a volt meeter first. Pin 16 will have 12-14 volts on it at all times. Pin 9 will not and no reading. Pin 4 and 5 mix up works out for they are both grounds.
This worked for my 2005 Honda Pilot EXL. I replaced the head gaskets and after reinstalling the battery that's when the problem showed up. I have read many posts about this issue and it appears the problem is brought on by disconnecting or low voltage from the battery. Thank you Gerard for your help. Cheers!
I owe you a drink if you ever find yourself in Glasgow , whole set of lights on dash after a scan. A honda civic diesel 2013 , worked like a dream , all lights gone , only had to do pins 4&9 , thanks so much. ETA : my OBD was upside down comparing to your video , so googled the pin locations and had to start opposite.
this worked on my 2007 honda legend[ acura rl in states ] see also geting honda abs codes without a scanner this worked also join 4and9whitout bressing brake to flash codes 13 was mine nsf front abs sensor
Wow so this video was the best explanation and fix to getting triangle light off and vsa not to come on. My friend has an 07 honda pilot. And we have a scanner which takes off vsa in abs function but that triangle is always on from start to turning off vehicle. Vsa would come on within a block or 2 until you cleared the code but we have been trying for a Lil bit now to figure it out. We'll after I reset abs triangle turned off stayed off. And no vsa light as well. Thank you so much for your video and help. Because thatvcrappy lights would cut power down like the calipers were sticking. You made our day today. Again your video did the fix. Thank you again for your help and for posting a real cure to that headache. 🙏😀
This is brilliant. Couldn't find this info anywhere else. The car went to a garage for an unrelated fault, they had a snap-on diag tool and it triggered the Exclamation mark, the VSA light would come on when reaching 30mph. I went through this process and it's cured! The garage couldn't work it out. I used the door bolt for GND. Thanks.
I have the same issue, I had a check engine light on for the knock sensor which I ended up replacing with the oem one cause aftermarket still showed the check engine. I went to reset the check engine after replacing it and had my exclamation mark on ever since. They used a snap-on diagnostic tool as well. You think this video will help?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO. I replaced the engine on my Daughters 2005 honda accord and these lights came on, resetted them with my snanner and they would come back on adter a few yards. Did this trick, and Voala.. lights are off. Even the Cruise Control started working. Thank you very, very much.❤❤
Hi, thank you for the video. It helped me to fix VSA triangle on my Honda Accord CM2 (2004). In my case the second part of the reset needed to have 9-4 pins shortened too, not 9-GND as in your video. Cheers!
@@willsr.9154 Follow the video. First part requires you to shorten odb connector pins with wire. Second part of the video says to shorten pin to ground. What worked in my case means to do the second part of procedure in video with shortened pins as per first part of the video - not to ground.
THIS worked after a mechanics did a full scan and the triangle light stayed on for days after. VSA light would turn on after accelerating past 50kmh. Did this and its gone,, CL9 2007 Accord Euro. EDIT: Resharing the tips from below, you can skip the grounding part for this car model as pin 4 is ground. Therefore after finished step 1, you can jump straight into the next step!
Perfect for a 2006 Pilot! The triangle (no other lights) came up for me after clearing ABS codes with a Blue Driver scan tool. Clearing ABS and then VSA using your procedure worked like a charm. I left pin 9 & 4 shorted for both procedures. I think pin 4 is a ground.
Hey, i went through the same thing, after full scanning using Autel IM508, the 2 lights came up and your 2x procedures removed them. Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you
Thank you sooooooo much, after spent tons of money they still on until I followed your step to kill them! You are more helpful than my local car service. Really appreciate.
This worked for me. 2009 Honda inspire. I assume it’s the same for the accord variant. If you didn’t get it right the first time just try again. I messed up a few times because I was doing it too slow. Eventually after rehersing the method I did it and problem solved.
Thank you very much for this video it works on Honda City 2015 resetting ABS light on. Saves me money for going to autoshop with scanner. More power to your channels
Gerard, thank you very much, this kind of maintenance it's was gonna took me a bunch of money since here in Brazil 8th gen Accord's are rare and qualified maintainers are even rarer, even honda dealers would probably suffer to solve this (Sadly, but truly mean it). One detail... At least on mine 8th gen, when pinned 4 and 9, and turned the ignition key on, it showed a code UXXXX on blackout screen, but it was fast so I couldn't record or remember it, and for my luck I didn't need to follow all the procedures described for the brake pedal and VSA button it resetted immediately. Anyway I'm just really glad you solved my problem that easy, no more christmas tree out season, LOL. Again, thanks man... BR greetings
Hi great video I have followed the steps but abs light flashing 3 times instead 2 times am I doing something wrong tks 2008 Honda Civic abs light as well is vsa light
I tried a XTool D7 OBD2 scanner and it turned on a couple dashboard lights. Kinda funny because none of the gauge actuation functions are supported (2007 Honda Pilot). Couldn't get the VSA light to go out. Tried what you showed a couple of times and it didn't work. Ended up using the scanner to clear codes in pretty much every module it could, then tried your jumpered method and it worked. Very nice. Thank you. 🙂
Thanks for making this video! I used your instructions to clear the triangle/VSA light that came up on my 2007 Honda Pilot after I used a Launch CRP scan tool to clear codes.
It worked, but I did need to know the turn key off after abs because I left it on for the vsa until you said turn it on and it was to late I had already hooked up the ground with the key on. No worries it all worked
You should have kept the camera on the dashboard for the VSA reset. Also, be more thorough with your discriptions. I am sure people want to know that they must recycle the key to the off position.
Im glad u told him about that ..cause i was wondering too about the key..and having the camera pointing to the dashboard..he did ok explaining and everything that was good but people want to see what is going on about the steps..and the results..
Just about to try this and thought I'd have one more go with the snap on scan tool, and I cleared it, by going into abs and special procedures, follow a step by step, ignition on abs light comes on and goes out- immediately press VSA button ABS comes on again- immediately press VSA button, ABS flashes and its reset, no VSA light, viola.
It worked you're a genius. I'm buying you a drink. THANK YOU !!! 🙋♂️💯🚀 2007 Honda Pilot 3.5L. Took me many tries Cause you have to follow every single step exactly and I was missing a few small steps. Had to see your video several times and write down the instructions. But it worked finally
Hi I tried it on my Honda vtec 2007 but it didn’t work. Perhaps the problem is slightly different as the ABS/VSA light doesn’t come on at ignition. It normally comes after 2 mins of drive. I tried the first method of joining pins 4 & 9 and it gave me message on the dash saying “DTC service - PA10 B1008” and nothing else. The ABS and VSA comes on as previously after 2 mins of drive. I havent tried the 2nd method for VSA reset as I don’t have something to use for grounding. Please suggest what can be used for grounding if I don’t have the clipper. Pls advise 🙂

Nope it worked perfect had to do it multiple times but exactly how you said it my friend. At the same time luckily I went outside because my brake lights were on strange I've done this to another Honda before where the brake lights switch (crap plastic) crunchrd -replaced with a nut and screw and 2 perfection fit.

If your car won't start after trying this check your fuses. I blew the ecu fuse under the hood by jumping 16 instead of 9. Emissions and tpms lights were on and it wouldn't turn over

Part 1 Resetting the ABS Icon
Connect pin 9 to pin 4
1. Hold Break down
Turn Ignition ON
ABS light will illuminate
Wait for ABS light to extinguish
2. Release brake
ABS light will illuminate
Press Brake Again
Light will extinguish again
3. Release Brake pedal once again
This time ABS light will blink twice and extinguish for good - confirming the reset
Part 2 Resetting the VSA
Connect pin 9 to an Earth
1. Turn Ignition ON
2. Wait for the ABS light extinguish
3. Select VSA switch to OFF
4. Wait for the ABS light to illuminate
5. Select VSA switch back to ON
The ABS light should now be set and all the warnings should be cleared.

Hold brake pedal down
Turn ignition on

Thanks! What model Honda was yours on?
My Honda CR-V is doing this as well. Want to try it but I am concern I’ll make it worst.
@@JenniferFlores-tt4hu
Jennifer - I thought the EXACT same thing as you, that I would short something out - but it turns out this worked perfectly.
Good Luck.
FYI, pin 4 is chassis ground, so you could have left the jumper the way that you had it to pin 9 when resetting the ABS.
Thanks. That made it easier than trying to clip a wire
Thanks! That helped a lot 👍
So what your saying I can leave pin4 as is to reset the vsa light ? 😅
Thats right boyo
Had my 2006 CRV scanned at a local shop and left with the VSA indicator on. I watched the video but the ABS didn't behave as described. I tried it three times and moved on to the second step and it cleared it right away! Thank you!
the first step only works if you have a code 84-1 in your abs module , if the abs doesn't blink it means there aint any codes in your abs system
What are the steps in details
Thanks for this. I'm going to try on my 2005 Pilot.
Dude ur doing steps from a completely different make of vehicle
Nice video, but it ain't straightfoward enough. So if people are better reader than viewer, i copy here the instructions that i found on club tsx :
1) Jump pins 4 and 9.
VSA neutral position setting
Do not touch the brake pedal anymore.
What if my triangle light is on when I start the car and then vsa light pops up about a minute into driving
Chaplain.

Just reset the codes on my 2012 Pilot. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the tutorial!!!!
Stealers diler jejejeej bro make my day
Wow worked on the first attempt, thanks so much
I can confirm that this works on the 9th gen Honda accords from 2013 to 2016.
For those who have earlier model 7th gens with no vsa this worked for me
TCS pressure sensor neutral position memorization (normally you need the HDS or a good scan tool) but here's the work around.
jump pins 4 and 9 on the DLC with the key OFF
watch the ABS indicator light area.
Turn the key on, ABS light goes on, then off after 2 seconds.
within 2 seconds, push the TCS off switch
push the button again only AFTER the ABS light comes back on.
The TCS triangle should blink, then the 3 lights should go out together.
remove the jumper between pins 4 and 9 of the DLC.
Push or hold?
It didn’t work for me
This has been bothering me for 2 years! Thanks
This happened to me but i cant locate the acg s fuse i only see the acg
Thanks for the procedure. Can you please post the steps clearly..
Cheers!

Finally that irritating light is off! Thanks man

I'm trying this today..
Just so I understand 'when you say you had to have 9&4 shortened what do you mean?
@@willsr.9154 Follow the video. First part requires you to shorten odb connector pins with wire. Second part of the video says to shorten pin to ground. What worked in my case means to do the second part of procedure in video with shortened pins as per first part of the video - not to ground.

Hi
I tried it on my Honda vtec 2007 but it didn’t work.
