Spend a week in Dorset with the wife. I rode my Triumph Bonneville she drove. We stayed in 2 location and I managed a few short trips chasing Bass with lure while she had a lay in😉

Another great video. I usually fish out of Brighton. My one big suggestion when there are bait fish about is 'match the hatch'. Beginning of the Bass season 2023 it was a little slow, and the one thing I noticed was nearly every Bass caught coughed up tiny bait fish. Next time out I used a slow jig with 2 tiny, tiny Shads up the line, I was catching 3 a time - obviously as the season progressed and the fish got bigger they were chasing other bait i stopped fishing that way.

I’ll give that a try early season👍 I like to fish a fly up the line above a FBM. This year plan do this a lot more. Never tried above a slow jig but makes sense

@@TheBassRacerThe reason for the slow jig was because of the weight, we were over a local close in wreck and the two tiny soft lures I was using properly didn't weight 15 grm in total, so I thought why not use a slow jig as a weight - sometimes I only caught one fish a drift and sometimes two, but whenever it wasn't 3 fish they were always on the two tiny soft lures. I have pics if you ever bored want to see them. Never tried fly fishing, one of the guys who goes out with us sometimes does and I will enquire about it next time. This will be my second year lure fishing from a boat, so still learning loads.

I don’t fly fish at sea but to tie, they work a treat fished about the weight of a black minnow or slow jig

Looks like a very promising spot with lots of depth. I've got the 9ft6 shore game and it's very fast but that nebula looks steely fast in the tip even more than the shore game. I think I may invest in the heavier casting rating nebula just for putting the heavier spinners above 35g out there 👍
