      Hi Bruno as I mention in the video the best tides are spring tides with a high water coinciding with dawn or dusk. However I catch Bass at most stages of the tide, but my often my most productive time on some marks is fishing low water up.

  • @johnnicholson4862

    Do you fish through the high tide? Just wondering if you find one side better than the other?
    Here on Sark I have only caught bass around low tide, but I'm tempted to give high another go after seeing your video.

  • @oldbloke135
    @oldbloke135 Год назад +2

    I think the "where" does matter. On my local beaches you never get Spring tide high water at dusk or dawn. They are always around midday or midnight. The best tides for us are mid-range ones. Mind you, mid-range here is bigger than anything Cornwall will ever see!

    • @FishingtailsCoUk1
      @FishingtailsCoUk1  Год назад

      A spring tide lasts for a number of days and the timing doesn't have to be exactly on dawn or dusk.

    • @FishingtailsCoUk1
      @FishingtailsCoUk1  Год назад +3

      It doesn't matter what coast you are on, as you need the wind onshore to blow the baitfish onshore. I use Berkley Nanofil rather than braid. I have been using it since it was released almost 10 years ago. The first batch had a fault that gave it a bad name but Berkley resolved that and now I would never use anything else unless I couldn't get Nanofil. In the million plus casts I must have done in the 10 years I have been using it I have only had two wind knots. Forget your expensive 8 strand braid, you still get wind knots with that, just use Nanofil its brilliant.
