I worked for Honda and Acura for 30 years, I have also driven every one of those cars. What a great collection!
favorite one you drove?
@@Robert-mu4bs I will never forget the first time I drove an S2000. The sound that engine makes at 8000 rpm will change your life forever. The closest thing in this man’s incredible collection would be the Type R.
@@ghostes I agree!
Only cars hes missing is the Acura RSX and the Honda S2000 if u wanted to make it a perfect collection
I'm very surprised he doesn't have an S2000!
@Pond6 So true! Driving dynamics wise, they do feel more refined than the 80s/90s stuff. An S2000 would round out the collection perfectly!
@@cdeluise I asked Brent about it while we were there. This is actually one of the few Hondas the owner doesn't have a lot of seat time in.
Prelude as well haha
The del sol.
Next time, I drive by with my S2000 to round up the collection 😂✌️
@benjaminkarpp9345 True haha. The owner needs an S2000!
@M-t3ch He's also missing 2 of the greatest accords ever made. The CB7, which was first car a 94-97 accord
Beautiful collection of Honda/Acura! All it needs to are a Prelude (a 3rd gen with 4WS or a 5th gen Type SH would fit right in) and an EG hatch to keep the 80s-90s vibe going.
If we wanted the ugly duckling, we could throw in a Del Sol VTEC and a Vigor.
And if we wanted quirky, we can throw in the Element and a 1st gen Insight.
@MTE-72 The Element is crazy haha. The owner has a Prelude, but it was being worked on unfortunately lol. His collection is almost perfect though.
Don't worry I still have a 91 prelude SI 4ws guys!... No worries!!😏

What a great collection!! 0:03 kind of surprised we don’t see some of my favorites though. There is a rare Delsol VTEC, no Preludes, and most surprisingly there’s no S2000 in the collection. Keep adding to the collection sir!
Honda civic 1995 ex
There’s a 1987-88-89 prelude or ledgend which about the same 2 dr coupe
Now this is the kind of car collection I love! Way too many collections of multi-million dollar exotic collections but this is so refreshing. Also you can tell this guy is super passionate about these cars. Awesome!
@@DanDiMaggio I agree, he is very passionate and has an awesome collection!
Wow! I didn’t realize how rare the green was for the 91 civic hatchback.
My moms friend (both in their early 70s now) had that exact civic until recently. She was the original owner and kept it bc she said it was economical.
Kids would always be ogling her car and asking to buy it from her. I didn’t know it was such a rare car.
@Wasabi9111 It's a cool spec! They were common until they weren't. Which I think is the theme with this collection. It's a lot of cars lost to time.
Awesome to see someone kept it that long 🙂
Great video!!! My first car was a 1990 Honda Civic Si. I was 19 years old and I bought it straight out of the showroom. They didn't come with stereos back then. I drive around for hours the first night I had it. It was an amazing car with lots of great memories. I sold it 6 years later to my buddy when it had 160,000kms. He put on another 100k.
@@ldub783 Lots of stories in here like that.
This man is living mine, along with many other Honda fanatics, dream! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL collection!
Wao my first car EF 1991 purchase it for 650$ but it was carburetor , every time the car got warm out it lost power 😂 ,great vid.
I bought my 91 hatch at a charity car auction for $600 back in 2000. It was my 25th birthday gift to myself...she was very homely and needed some TLC. I got her running like a sewing machine shortly after the purchase and been driving it every since. 24 years and counting!
The GSR DA, Del sol, and prelude 4wsi are still missing. They hold some of the best foot notes in Honda's golden era still. So best get to looking
'92 GSR had a DB2 chassis code. It looked just like a DA but it had thicker stiffened frame forward of the firewall for better handling. It also had less sound insulation for a slight weight reduction. '94+ GSR's did not have the stiffening or weight reduction as far as I know. I owned a frost white '92 GSR w/ '01 B18c5 engine swap
Missing a few classics like Del Sol, Prelude and S2K. Just to name a few, but you got my respect sir. 🔰
I just sold off my Honda CR-Z to my uncle because I'm having a kid. Hope that car becomes one of the greats sometime because that car was amazing.
i love it bc it’s for a “future” look to the CRX. honda really had a way of making timeless looking vehicles
Wow... this place must sound crazy at 3am.
@@TalooshDaBoss LMAO. They are all stock. No fart cans here.
Holy cow i remember reading about that tragic story with white ITR! Super sick to see its still on all 4 wheels!!
What a collection!!!
@@BeatersAndCompany Perfect driver for the owner. He takes it out and enjoys it like it deserves to be.
He HAS to get a second gen integra! Those cars are so much fun, and the gsr variant is super rare and sought after! Plus that Aztec green pearl paint 🤤
I had a frost white '92 GSR with King Motorsports built '01 spec B18c5 Type R engine. I bought the engine brand new w/ 0mi from Honda. Had light head work and a Mugen Gymkhana-spec exhaust manifold w/ RSR Ex-Mag(exhaust magic) 60mm exhaust, marketed as the quietest performance exhaust available
Such a sweet collection. I managed to find a 92 Integra GSR in Aztec Green fairly stock and the experience you get with these older Hondas is just one that can't ever be replicated! Best decision I ever made.
I had a frost white '92 Integra GSR with '01 spec B18c5 engine and Mugen Gymkhana-spec exhaust manifold. If I could build any Honda today, it would be that exact build I did 20yrs ago. I am also a HUGE EF fan. I found my late Brother his '90 Si 3dr back in 1998 after he was mad at me for selling my '85 CRX Si. He did a JDM Integra XSi B16a swap in '00
The Mugen Gymkhana-spec 4-2-1 and Toda 4-2-1 exhaust manifolds will clear your DB2 front crossmember without cutting. The o2 sensor on those ITR manifolds are in the correct spot for your GSR too, no change needs to be made to the wiring. '94+ GSR's have a different o2 sensor location/wiring
@JustinGreenRC A GSR in that color in nice shape is a unicorn now days. Love it!
Nice to hear the stories where each car came from! Fantastic collection.
3:00 91 Civic Si Hatch manual transmission is *the Best* with Double Wishbone suspension, No pwr steering -just like Real Feel and Handling of Sports /Race Cars
@WExplore136 You can tell when driving it too. The car is so playful!
The '88 Civic Si and CRX Si had slightly different rear suspension that had slightly more rear steer. Different lower control arms and larger sway bar. Honda changed the '89+ models as too many people crashed the '88's. The '88's were the best handling ones. I owned a '88 CRX Si and my Brother had a '90 3dr Si. Nothing wrong with later models, but if you find an '88 BUY IT!
@@M-t3chpeople always tell me my 91 hatch is "unsafe". No ABS, no airbags, no power steering, no NOTHING! I feel free as bird while driving it...which has been 24 years and I'm still HERE! 😂😂

Timeless gems...amazing collection!
For me that GORGEOUS 1988 Honda Accord, particularly in that color, was the one that truly stole my heart and brought back waves of nostalgia. My first love were Hondas and growing up of modest means - this was my absolute dream car. I test drove almost an identical one to this beauty and dreamt I’d eventually be able to afford (and hope I could qualify for a loan to own) one someday. I ended up eventually being able to finance a mint condition 1991 Honda Accord in green in ‘93 - but truly never stopped loving the body style and color of that 1998 that I first actually got to drive a couple of years earlier. I now really only drive Lexus (on my 3rd RX) but Hondas (especially Accords) still hold a special place in my heart so this video was truly a joy to watch. Thanks and looking forward to watching the test drive of most of these.
The front fascia of that 88 - OMG. Just everything about that car was beautiful. Especially in THAT color. If it were not a stick shift I would reach out to this owner and do everything in my power to pry it from him. Even the story behind it is an incredible story.
@zack-nyc I am glad you enjoyed it! Cool story too. A lot of people have those sorts of stories here.
A couple of the POVs are live. I did not get a chance to drive the Accord (time constraints) but I may go out there again next year. The Topher did drive that Accord! His review will be live in the next month or so.
My grandpa still has his 1991 Civic Si. Meticulously maintained, but it’s in the white colorway.
@bastian4079 White is a great color on those too!
I respect this guys cars collection he keeps his Hondas immaculate, people don’t understand how hard that is
the integra special edition is so nice. I currently have a 95 Civic coupe EX. I'm enjoying it immensely.
Awesome video. I lived thos scene. Traded my 99 Cobra in on a 00 Si and never looked back. Test drove a 01 yellow type r but didn't get it then my Si got stolen in 02 so I got the rsx type s. Eventually had 2 eg hatches then an ek hatch. That 98 type r is the reason i currently drive a champ white FL5. Everytime I get in it, it takes me back to those amazing days.
@sbklvr That’s so cool! You tried all of them. The FL5 is a breath of old Honda for sure.
I drove a white one last year, and I think it was one of the best new cars I have ever driven.

This is a great video..most of these Hondas were new when I was in college. One of my favorite memories was driving a 1987 Acura Integra from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. I was returning the car for a friend after his wedding. My biggest regret was not getting one after college. We have had several Honda Odyssey minivans and one Acura MDX since 1999 and most have the distinctive Honda key in ignition door beep.

@@M-t3ch Fun fact: 4 short beeps are Morse code for "H". Great collection of cars!
I'm so glad you included the toyota 🔥🔥
Love the 87 accord!! Should try to find a 96 exr manual as well!
The yellow Integra is a RS that stands for rally sport specifically designed as a rally car. It didn't have a sun roof like the type r and is actually lighter with more low end torque without VTEC where as the type R and GSR motors peak torque at a higher rpm band. It's cool that the previous owner made a full blown typeR replica out of it but The rally sport is meant to be a pure b series engine all road all weather No VTEC, no ABS, no LSD no lowered suspension no spoiler skirts lip etc
@midnightjazzgroup Really cool information! I never knew about the RS trim. How do you know it is an RS?
A fake ITR is a cool build too imo. It drives pretty close to a Type R.
@@M-t3ch you said the owner was from Florida? By any chance is there an import sticker on the driver side door sill? Where it shows the tire pressure color code etc the RS model was shipped to Canada with the same usdm lights it should also say the trim unless he took the sticker off during the phoenix yellow paint job. The RS model handles really well on bumpy and dirt roads it originally came with steelies. I bought a 98 rs from a collector with only 25,000 km it was imported from Canada with a Canadian stamp. Lots of enthusiast back in the day chose this model to convert into type RS and when I mentioned to him that I wanted to make this a type r he was totally against it and explained to me about this car's originality. Not all integras need to be made for the racetrack so I decided to keep mine original stock ride height and everything and I see why after all these years. This car was meant to drive hard and handle over everything we got to appreciate that for what it is too but at the same time it's so easy to switch over to racetrack mode with modifications and swaps you can even do what they call a Frankenstein build to have both low and high-end torque on the bseries not to mention all wheel drive
the non vtec B18 makes less torque everywhere compared to the Type R B18. Yes the type r peaks higher, but it still has more all the way to the bottom aswell
@@CrackedDylMil the b18 non VTEC produces peak torque way faster and I mean by half the rpm at 3k where as the b18 VTEC peaks up around 6k with longer gears. They have shorter gears in the non VTEC it will be more torquey a lot quicker. The type R is meant for the track and not meant to be driven hard over harsh roads
I've driven every single one of those cars (I owned or a friend had one... same make/model/trim (minus the special edition tags) except the civic R and the NSX)... The memories!
@@JacobParkYusuk They are all awesome machines!

When I got into cars, I always thought the U.S.A. is all about freedom & over here in Germany everything is about emissions. Later on I realized it is the other way around. While having all freedom for customization etc., when it comes to stock cars / from factory I was shocked when it comes to Honda that the U.S. only got the silly, emissions friendly engines. Way better option trims, way better interior I'm really jealous of but in the end, so glad we got all the great engines that Japan also had (just a bit less compression so those engines don't need to run on premium, no one would ever had bought it then). Also shocked that the U.S. never got officially the EG6 & I always got called out I don't have an EG6 in Germany because it is LHD 😅 So glad we got the B16 & DOHC D16 in the CRX, the EG6, the EE9 (EF9) etc. Only thing we never got was the EK9 & DC5, but that's it. The B16 was sold for 10 years straight. First in the CR-X, then the EG Civic & CR-X Del & EK. Oh, and we never had the USDM Coupes with the B16 sadly officially. Only some re-imports etc.
Since the early 2000's tables turned completely. Honda is barely to none existing nowadays, only just crap of engines & all the great stuff is in the U.S. Also stuff like the CR-Z (we only got it for some years, don't have the cool sedans, only have crappy engines) & not even the cool Honda Fit (it's called Jazz over here but withban crappy engine).
@@charlesmchoop3007 This is a very interesting take! We do miss out on a lot of cool jdm cars over here.
I like a lot of modern Hondas. The new Type R is one of my favorite new cars on sale today. But they don't have as much character as they used to have. However, what modern car does?
@@M-t3ch We miss alot of great / fun USDM stuff.
I get your point with new cars, I'm the same. Despite the quality /reliability the Dodge Challenger is one of the modern cars that just by the look is amazing. Looking so oldschool, I love it. Also from the look the Honda e (was only sold in Europe & Japan from 2020 to 2024 or so). The Honda e is somehow a mix of the Honda N360/600 & 1st Gen Civic.
Despite the fact new cars suck alot because their more of an smartphone on wheels, I really dig alot of USDM stuff. The Dodge stuff looks all cool, also love the Camaro & C7 Corvette & oh heck, did Cadillac did a great Job with their "new face" of the the vehicles. AT-S, CT-S, Escalade; I really, really like them. It's not even the buying price over here in Germany, we get all the stuff cheaper the you guys in the U.S. but fully loaded & sometimes bit better stuff. But our Gas Prices & Emissions taxes completely killed the affordability for most of us. Heck, because of Gas Prices I got rid of my beautiful C1500 & '72 Chevelle Sedan. Now looking again for an 1st Gen HR-V or something but somehow, for daily use, I don't want to go back 😅 For daily purpose I would love to get an in good conditions GMT400/800 Tahoe. Could afford the gas, parts so dam cheap & so comfy with alot of space.
That green color was also available for the 91 CRX Si, and the only year it was on the CRX. Super hard to find one, and I have only seen one or two in all these years on the road. Now rocking a 98 EK Civic 4 door with a manual transmission. An absolute great daily driver.
