      @Cowboy Bebop I know you ;) Beboop. You are a keyboard satirist. Is the exact weight on the bar the same. No, men can lift more but nobody is dumb enough to make that argument. Men also weight more. F=ma. High school physics if you went. She has stand out genetics, incredible work ethic and discipline. Probably you are ill informed and under educated.
      To reach Pro level, Female or male is 99% impossible. Winning even harder. Coupled with all of that women have a hormonal cycle which makes training require a bit more strategy. Come out of your cocoon and step into her shoes. What's my point? Pound for pound she is stronger than most dudes working out in the gym for years. A gifted Athlete.

    Hey John.
    My traps have always been lacking and I haven’t really bothered with shrugs, because I could barely feel them.
    But last night I decided to take your advice and hold them at the top for a couple of seconds.

      Yea guys bouncing the weight on shrugs doesn't do anything. I use at least half the weight they do and I control the movement the whole time with a 3 second squeeze at the top. I also started holding the bar behind me and I felt it alot more also.

    • @BendApparatus
      @BendApparatus 4 года назад

      My traps never grew UNTIL i started doing heavy deadlifts...
      This got me thinking and i started targeting them with heavy rack pulls and static holds.
      I'm a super light weight...so if i was doing deads for 315 for 5 reps... I'd do 415 for 5 or 8 holding for a count of 5...(straps of course). But i was going from nothing to traps...if you already have mass then whatever John says is word...
