      He's been doing this style of content since day 1. So if he does become a champion (which he very well could do), it won't suddenly be because of his brand/style of content, but as another reply suggest, just his display at the show

      That will not happen, 1.he is no american 2. Look at cbum he can also not win a pro open, not enough body mass. 3. You have to train in USA. 4. You have to double or triple your intake and thats dangerous business.

      I literally just picked up my phone to say the exact same thing.
      He’s the perfect example of a champion on every level.
      Hell stop mid set to explain or answer questions that random people might ask.

    I am a 67 years old amateur power lifter and fitness trainer I have been working out for over 50 years. I weigh 80 kilos I don't have big muscles like a bodybuilder. Wesley is a good bodybuilder he looks good I learn a lot from him in this video I'm going to try this workout in the gym. I cycle long distances and rowing and boxing, fitness and I bench press 80 kilos and lift 100 kilos and squat 120 kilos I don't eat refine sugar and trans fat I'm strong and healthy for my age.

    I hope you will change the way you hit that leat spread during the olympia. No need to hide them anymore. And you can't hide a pose if you want to beat Bumstead.

      Wessley has such an amazing physique but his lat genetics really played him and his posing. I’ve been a fan of Wessley for 6 years and I sweat he has the dream physique. Sucks he hasn’t had higher placements. I really want him to win

    Back thickness has improved so much over the past few years, much more paraspinous density. Width has been your calling card for a while, but the thickness really took your back to the next level.

    Wesley, you are my newest favorite trainer! I only follow 3 other bodybuilders and you easily earned a sub! I love how you calmly and humbly walk us through the how's and whys of each movement, along with warm ups. You have an amazingly ridiculous physique.....you definitely are the Danish Hulk my friend...Lol Thank you for your expertise and helping us new guys get motivated!!!

    It is good to see Wesley listening to the feedback and focusing on his lower lats and quads which are considered weaknesses in the present judging criteria. Best of luck!

      Hams and glutes too, but he has so little room with his weight cap to put on mass in those areas because already on stage he's only a few pounds from his weight limit. Coming in outrageously shredded isn't "Classic" either, so that's not necessarily the fix either. If he puts on those few pounds of muscle in the weaker areas, will it be enough to even notice on his massive frame?
      All this aside, I prefer Wes' physique to CBum and many other of the top Classic guys, and I would love to see him crack top 3 this year.

      He has arguably the best back in classic. He can't build up the lower lats because his insertions are high.

      @@RDS_Armwrestling to me his taper is already improved, it might not be enough to beat Cbum but second place will be more than possible for him.

    Guys listen to him. I came back to this video only to confirm this workout. I only added a warm up of 3 sets with neutral wide grip pull downs, and did 5 failure sets of each exercise. Haven’t had a back pump like this for a long time! Thanks Wesley 👏🏻👏🏻

    A bit of confirmation bias, but nice to see him say if you can’t contract with good form to stop. I’ve been doing partials & myo reps at the end of sets, but the recovery has been tough as i’m getting a few weeks out from a show.

    A thigh and calf workout please! I have a better defined and stronger right thigh than the left one, I can see it when I do squats and in the mirror...
    I train the legs once a week in one session (quadriceps, femurs, glutes, adductors, calves and finally the abdomen).

    wesley never explained why, but the first movement is good because one of the functions of the lat is not just to bring the elbow down, but also to tilt the torso.
