    It's really hard to find fault with the Vorteks, Fury, and Gorgon. They're a modern day Frog and Blackfoot, but reliable and more affordable. I would absolutely consider a Fury for some short-course bashing.

    These have kind of a Tamiya-ish flavor about them. The DT-03 would almost look at home next to them

    I ended up ordering the fury in blue, it was either that or one more NASCAR as I already have one and was tempted, but I’m running out of space and I figured I’m better off trying a completely new platform then getting another car I already have but just a different design. NASCAR is not so fast so let’s see if the fury is faster. My Fury came yesterday so I’m hoping to get it outside today. I’ll try to get a Video Up!, it’s just I end up having so much fun. I forget about making a quick video lol at least I’ll get a Short up.

    I think the fury is cool, but I don't understand why arrma dropped the vorteks boost for this. The 3s vorteks is awesome, and the 2wd one looks really kind of lame. I'd be curious on your thoughts after dropping a brushless system in the fury

    • @lyricofwise6894
      @lyricofwise6894 2 месяца назад +1

      The arrma vortex boost didnt have 2wd suspension and setup in mind, but moreover 4wd, since expecting to upgrade. And the gorgon was a proven platform for their 2wd, just hope the replacement parts not expensive like the gorgon's

      I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Cheapness trickling up through the Arrma line up. Parts availability in the future? Like you said we already have 2wd senton and vorteks in brushed and brushless. Discontinued models to come?
      This isn't a good sign.

    • @cbailey18b
      @cbailey18b 2 месяца назад

      hopefully this is just for beginners. for example i buy it and my little cousin wants to run an RC; without giving him my big rock or stampede i could hand them this and them still have fun without feeling like im giving them walmart cheapness. beg mom and dad for one and they get a boost model inviting upgrades in the future now that they have driven and gotten use to the 2wd brushed.

    ... Neither is "better" than the other... They're all the same. Minor differences like different suspension setups and slightly different lengths does NOT make a different chassis. They're all based on the same Gorgon chassis. RC manufacturers dont make anything different or new anymore... It's all the same old crap with a different body... They had a little success with the Gorgon so now they're letting it take over their entire production line basically. Same with Traxxas and the trx4 and axial with the scx chassis. I wish manufacturers would do something different and new. Something to make their extortionate prices actually reasonable for once...
