MirrorInsanity I SECOND THIS. Rumors are that the director/creative brain behind DD is strongly considering a sequel, and I can't wait for it! Dogma was such a good game with so little content. And what a travesty to make DDON but only local to Japan you harlots!

And yeah I know it was only released in Japan. You'd think they give it to the west too. But for reasons unknown or simply not stated I imagen that will never happen. If they need money it'd be a good way to get some.
@Bruce Wayne You are an idiot they will never come out with Dragons Dogma 2 even if they did, it will be in many years and I highly highly doubt it will every be released anywhere. They won't release DDO in NA for years and now they want to make us pay $30 for some extra bloom effects. They have you 100% fooled, this is the problem with Capcom they will milk you for everything you got until the very last drop and tell you "Sorry no NA release" Just like every other eastern developer it's classic and has happened too many times for me to trust a simple comment like this. Take a look at what Capcom has on their plate at the moment, do you really think DD2 is on their list of things to do? I highly doubt it with the success DDO has had why would they spend all their time and effort to neglect DDO (which is doing great btw) and make a whole new DD2 to further reduce DDO server populations? They would never do something so moronic. It's time to stand up against these developers that are going to make us pay another $30 for the exact same game besides some bloom effect. You seriously need to stop letting these guys dig their hands in your pocket and stand up against this kind of marketing.

This is one of those games where graphics would not matter because the game as a whole is so epic, like Shadow of the Colossus.

Brown Sinatra You could get an eternal ferrystone, IF you imported your OG data into the Dark Arisen re release. It should have been a default thing in the vanilla game though. Capcom left faults in the game purposely to charge for an update.
+Q M It wasn't really a fault, it was just hindsight. Something extra they put in, on top of giving us a ton of extra content.

Please just give us a sequel already. Really liked the setting, battle system and the atmosphere of this game. with a larger open world and better story it has the potential to become the best arpg of the decade. This is from someone who spent hundreds of hours on skyrim and witcher3

mine too. i literally only bought this game because I thought it had legit coop gameplay for me and my buddy to play. but after the disappointment of it only having the pawn-system I happened to land on one hell of a underrated game! it's amazing! the game after beating the final boss blew my mind!

Eric The Cleric smooth combat with a fair amount of combat strategies. Some of the best magic of any game. The story is great if u keep up with whats happening

Such an underrated game back then in 2012. Capcom didn't seem to over hype this game at all very well like they do with their street fighter games. But now I can play it on PS4 :D

Cos to me DDDA is a true spiritual successor of the D&D Arcade, both GREAT games made by Capcom
uh call it D&D based game, D&D themed game, or whatever suits you. I like the arcade games too I wish Capcom can diversify instead of just milking the fighting games.

Back when my cousin had a PS3 (so did I) I used to always go to his house and play this game. When he finally bought it for me I was so happy. I was stuck on gran siren and he all ready finished the game! Now it’s come on PS4 it will get much more famous.

I would like to know is there anyway to transfer/convert my savedata from PS4 to PC? my savedata was JP ver. and intended to buy the PC in JP too if I can transfer/convert it into PC savedata.
I assume that it wouldn't be possible to, maybe it's better to just give up and play it in PS4.

One of my favourite games. I think I played this, Skyrim and Dark Souls for more hours than any other game. Some reviews mention no fast travel but this was patched ages ago (and wasn't even an issue in the Dark Arisen version). Just the right difficulty too - some really tough areas if your character ready - and you have to be alert. 9/10. Whether you get it on PS3 or PS4 try get the Dark Arisen version it's the best. I played it on PS3 but will get the PS4 version now.
if the new shenmu or whatever got kickstarted, im pretty sure that a sequel for this series will do even better in crowd funding.

I was expecting a little more, but at the same time, it's what i was hoping. I don't know about those things, so i'll make a comparison: reminds me the remaster for skyrim, some upgrades in textures, but big upgrades in light and frame rate/performace.

Better lighting equals more immersive gameplay. Not to say thats the only better thing. But definetly one of the biggest changes. I cant wait for this.

Not a drastic overhaul by any means but I can certainly see the difference. Especially in environmental textures like walls, cliff sides, and dirt.
The lighting seems to be quite better as well.

Yeah the visuals were a bit blurry, vague and painty looking, I remember that.
New version looks a bit sharper, which is good, and I like that they're releasing it on modern consoles, but.. they really should make a proper sequel.

Capcom could've very easily dropped or forgotten dragons dogma due to the poor sales and focused on more lucrative IPs, but they didn't. They know this game has a huge cult status and i think if this does well, we might see a sequel
