Simagic have stated that the Neo is fully Simhub compatible if you are using the USB connection which opens up loads more options for customisation . 👍👍👍
Just as an FYI: I was unable to get this combo to connect when using a powered hub on my sim rig. Eventually got it working by directly connecting to USB on the motherboard. PIA but finally got it working as described.
I will try the Sigma Cortex Converter, it only makes Simagic products work for consoles. Many people coming from DD Pro say, that it's better force feedback and of course stronger.. there were many updates making it better the last months. Every button, even the light, works. Hoping for a decent review of this converter 😁
I would like a wheel like that for my non-DD base. I currently don't use my setup enough to warrant an upgrade to DD (as I have an idea of brands and it won't be cheap, lol), so I am going to be using my current setup for the foreseeable future with minimal upgrades available.
I really like this wheel. For someone, like me, looking to upgrade, it’s a great price point. I don’t know if I will need a maglink because I’m really considering the Alpha Mini for my dd.
will this work on a fanatec dd+ wheel base (new extreme bundle, ps5 only). I just saw fanatec released a bundle with an f1 wheel (which pissed off a lot of folks that had just bought the dd extreme bundle) but is the same-old -too-narrow- 2.5x-with lipstick as before, and the Simagic Neo would SLAY on the dd+! a response would be greatly appreciated, if it works I'm getting one ASAP
@xavphoto29 Do you even need the SRM Emulator? I can run my CSL DD without a wheel attached, seems like you could use any QR1 (or QR2 if you've upgrade) wheel side right?
@@SethMcClaineyou could but the fanatec base wouldn't see the wheel and would give 0 force feedback. A podium hub or SRM emulator will allow the base to detect the wheel thus giving ffb
@ but isn’t there some sort of solution out there for owners of a Fanatec base that want to use the GT Neo on a PS5 ? I thought I saw one somewhere one day.
Not that I am aware of. I know there are emulator like Sigma Cortex to get wheelbases to work on PS5, but sure about just a wheel. SRM makes conversions to use any wheel on Fanatec, but the wheel functionality won't work on PS5.
Fantastic video and information! I am unfortunately handcuffed to a console at this time but I do use the Logitech direct drive Pro wheel and pedals. Do you know if that wheel can be set up to adapt to Logitech? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the fantastic videos!
@@DevinJamesKI know what it is 🤣 I own the wheel! And it’s still Bluetooth! And did you know moza,Asetek, simagic, simucube all are Bluetooth but guess what they all are only Bluetooth for the company that makes them!! So I know what I’m talking about! I’ve owned Logitech, thrustmastes, fanatec, simucube and now own simagic alpha and a moza r5. So I’ve owned pretty much every base besides like 3-5 on the market.
Moza is good value if you stay within the ecosystem. If you don't have their base, their "hub" sucks and disconnects in the middle of races which is a No Go in my book.
Very efficient video using the sped up sections but keeping the natural sound, well done.

That is correct
Going to have to buy this now that I have 2 rigs. Simagic alpha and moza r5 so now it works on both in under 30secs
I feel like someone needs to test this to the extreme and put it on a G29
I was thinking the same .. I have a G920, and was looking at a wheel with a similar attachment/hub , since I currently have an Acelith mod on it …
Just as an FYI: I was unable to get this combo to connect when using a powered hub on my sim rig. Eventually got it working by directly connecting to USB on the motherboard. PIA but finally got it working as described.
I just received my GT NEO today and after updating software and such the wheel does not show up in my simagic manager at all. Any tips?
At 3:12, you did some magician magic swap thing I did not pick up. I wish you had that at normal speed.
The magnets on the maglink are stronger then the magnets on the Cube Controls wheel
Does anybody know the exact model for the quick release mount on the hub? I have been looking for it but can’t find it
so we can just connnect it to moza r9?no quick release adapter?
If only Simagic could get PlayStation licensing, my world would be complete

Is it any way fit the fanatec Dr pro qr2 thanks
Great video. Could you point us to the NRG quick release adapter attached to the Ricmotec wheelbase? I can't find it anywhere. Many thanks.

run on moza r12?
saludos
Do you have to get the mag link or can you also use the usb-c port that is on the wheel anyways?
It really does look like STRONG value - maybe this is Simagic's loss leader to get people's heads turning. It's working on me, anyway...
Wow its just impressive

as long as you use that in PC then it's gonna be OK
@@mArvAlcao71 I had just said ps5 only, so no, right?
Could I use this with moza r9 direct drive?
What is needed to fit on a Fanatec CSL DD?
You'd need the Fanatec podium hub along with the Simagic Maglink addon

no, you need the maglink for it to work on non-simagic wheelbases.
Can this work on PS5 with a Fanatec DD base?
It won't. The maglink allows you to connect the wheel straight into a USB port on the PC.

I dont think this wheel will work on a stock Logitech wheel.
Hi i have a R5 wheelbase, would this wheel fit on my base?
Yes it works no problem. I own a simagic alpha and moza r5 both are the same QR
@@SIMRIG412 ok thanks, but do i need maglink or just fit the simagic QR onto the r5 directly
could you put this on a moss r5 ?
Yes. Moza and simagic have the same exact qr. I have a simagic alpha and a moza r5
Awesome video. Would that work on my r9 from moza?
Yup, it should work with any wheelbase as long as you have the right QR.
Why a cable? Why not using Bluetooth?
Then you have to have a battery in the wheel.
It is Bluetooth
@@SIMRIG412 only when not using the cable. It’s a proprietary Bluetooth protocol.
