The pre-orders are still about a month or so away but the FX is available now. Is there a huge difference in build quality going from one to the other or are they both about the same and the FX is going to be phased out?
The FX is better quality as it uses real carbon but the handles have flex on the bottom and the Neo is super rigid! Also the FX don’t have SimHub compatibility and have less LEDs for effects!

How important do you think it is to have the lightest wheel possible with the Alpha Mini? I saw a review where they said heavier wheels will numb the force feedback, making it not feel as agile too. Would the F-Core be a better option for the Alpha Mini than the Neo?
Hey! Been using your alpha u settings for a while now, but recently switched to simpro V2 and can't figure out the settings, I get a lot of oscillation when i let go of the wheel..Any updated settings from u? Thanks!
I have the f core wheel from CC but just wish it had back lit buttons now after seeing this I’m considering swapping my wheel for this. As you’ve tried both how does it compare to the f core?
Thanks for another perfect review! Being huge fan of Simagic since it's M10 hit the market. Their progress is something not only sim-gear companies should look at. Still need one quick advice from you. I'm about to order new setup for home use and can't decide if it's worth extra money to take Alpha medium (15nm) instead of Mini (10 Nm)? I never tried Medium/Ultra, so don't know if they can really add some serious gain into FFB details, that Mini is missing. Maybe even make some vid about it.
Thanks for the kind words man 🤛 About the base, if you don’t planning to use 12-13nm for daily driving then you won’t gain much in terms of FFB details! One advantage of having big base and use it at 40-50% is,they never get hot and the rest is placebo in my opinion! I still prefer to have as bigger base as I can but is mostly my ego and the fuck questions in my head (what if) If you don’t care to spend, definitely go for the bigger one but the gains are negligible 🤛
Here we have one of the negative things about VR. We are not able to enjoy beautiful products like this. Would be nice to have a active wall mount. Meaning you can hang it on the wall while the LED's are illuminated. 👍
Hi buddy🤛 I know Simucube for example don’t suggest extending the shaft and they must have there reason to say that and I guess that must be the case for all DD bases as they are the same mechanism but I use that now for months and the base is going well without problem and never heard anyone have problems with that! I will continue using extensions in the base for sure as that’s how the rig is built and if some day will have problem will report!
Are expensive Steering Wheels needed? Like the $2000+ ones. What are gaining by spending $2k+ for a steering wheel? Wheelbase I understand, but a steering wheel I'm still trying to understand are they needed for ex: Aestek Forte wheel or this one video Simagic. Thank you for your time
No buddy! They are just better quality and maybe have more effects but the premium price is mostly for those who can afford them ! I. Terms of gaining something from driving perspective, the difference can be negligible! I we sometimes pay premium because we can and want to enjoy certain product without expecting more or less! At least that’s my personal opinion 🤛
I have no complaints with my KS wheel, but if I were to be on the fence right now, then Simagic has won me over just slightly. Moza KS is also really good value but now it’s second fiddle.
Wow, this gave Moza KS wheel a run for their money… They stepped up on the value even more which I thought wasn’t possible at this price range. I hope Moza isn’t going to let this slide ;)
@snappedbydan I have the same question. The KS wheel at high NM force rattles like crazy and you hear all the plastics buttons rattle. I wonder if the same happens to this wheel?
We definitely need good quality budget wheels. The market is flodded with too many premuim high end wheels and expensive use of materials for a sim rig.
You need the Fanatec podium hub or SimRacingMachine emulator. The MagLink plate have different pattern holes to be attached to standard 50 or 70mm holes for the different quick releases on the market, Fanatec included 🤛
So you can just bolt on a Fanatec QR2 and this will work? (no pins that will break etc?) After there mess of Black Friday, I'm looking for a good GT wheel, and this might be it!
I am in a dilemma, I have the KS steering wheel and I still have to buy the motor base. I have three options Moza R12 + KS Alpha mini + adapter to ks Sell KS steering wheel and buy simagic NEO + alpha mini steering wheel I heard that the feeling of the alpha mini is better than moza but its software is complicated compared to Moza Where I live, a R12 MOZA base costs the same as a Simagic alpha mini. It would only be $50 from the apadtator if I choose moza ks + alpha mini I have felt that the shift paddles of this NEO do not transmit sensations, because they did not make any noise Although once immersed in the game's audio it shouldn't matter and could even be positive
To me the alpha mini doesn’t feel better from the r12 in the settings I personally prefer the FFB. I can make them to feel the same buddy for my taste! Most of those bases are very very close interns of FFB detail and performance
@championdark970 I can't speak for the KS, but I have reviewed and compared R12 and mini. You are right. Mini is a better base, but the software has been better now. Also, KS is an amazing wheel, but GT Neo is a wheel with third party compatibility, stronger build and Simhub support. I have reviewed it too. :)
Cool video, but these expensive wheels are unnecessary in VR. I’d save the money on gear and get a CSL dd setup with motion sim and VR which is the end game setup.
as someone who really enjoys rally racing I wish ANYONE would make a dedicated rally wheel. everyone is reinventing the same formula wheel. onroad racing is just flat out boring to me. way to sterile and clinical with zero room for error. I'd rather wait in line at the DMV than play road racing on the sim.
I’m testing this wheel on that video with Moza R16 actually and the QR pattern is the same but you need the MagLink to use it with other bases including moza !
What I don't like about simagic, and maybe generally about Chinese-made gadgets, is that they have to make everything a Christmas tree. Way too much lights for my taste.
Great video as always, thank you! I dunno if there are many folks asking for this but I wish Simagic bases, wheels, and pedals worked with the PS5. I would buy their gear in a heartbeat *take-my-money.gif*. This wheel and the P1000 pedals (w/ haptic motors) have me drooling. Sooner than later I'll have to make the jump to PC sim racing just for the experience of better gear and sims.

thank you for your opinion Master, this wheel is so Gorgeus but i have my FX ehehe
I wish the FX had the MagLink compatibility and be able to run with all bases 😃
Hey! Been using your alpha u settings for a while now, but recently switched to simpro V2 and can't figure out the settings, I get a lot of oscillation when i let go of the wheel..Any updated settings from u? Thanks!
Now a nice round wheel 32-33 cm for the same price please 🤞
Taken right out of mozas book. I like it tho. It’s def a bit better looking
I have the f core wheel from CC but just wish it had back lit buttons now after seeing this I’m considering swapping my wheel for this. As you’ve tried both how does it compare to the f core?
In terms of comfort they feel almost the same having similar grips and as you can see, this one is loaded with features and is insanely rigid 😃
Thanks for the kind words man 🤛
About the base, if you don’t planning to use 12-13nm for daily driving then you won’t gain much in terms of FFB details!
One advantage of having big base and use it at 40-50% is,they never get hot and the rest is placebo in my opinion! I still prefer to have as bigger base as I can but is mostly my ego and the fuck questions in my head (what if)
If you don’t care to spend, definitely go for the bigger one but the gains are negligible 🤛
Looks good. But on what base can it be used?
Any wheelbase with the MagLink connector.
I will sell my formula V2.5 X once it´s arrived and will take this instead@@wangte27
Awesome
Here we have one of the negative things about VR. We are not able to enjoy beautiful products like this. Would be nice to have a active wall mount. Meaning you can hang it on the wall while the LED's are illuminated. 👍
That’s true man but VR is such a brutal experience, isn’t it 💪😃
Hey Steliyan, are you still using the Simagic extension shaft on your alpha ultimate? Any concern about motor wear or damage?
Hi buddy🤛
I know Simucube for example don’t suggest extending the shaft and they must have there reason to say that and I guess that must be the case for all DD bases as they are the same mechanism but I use that now for months and the base is going well without problem and never heard anyone have problems with that!
Boss thank you. So just flash. Lol
What is going on with the apocalypse outside
🤣🤣🤣
Crazy weather 😁
were available (also for preorder) in Germany?
Those guys here have it for preorder buddy
eu.sim-motion.com/produkt/simagic-gt-neo/?lang=en
damn what a nice wheel and the price ...... i´ll get this
thank you sir, might pick this up for my moza r5. would you say this is a better value over the Moza KS wheel?
The SimHub gives so much more options man 😃
Definitely. Quality is also way better plus more features
I have no complaints with my KS wheel, but if I were to be on the fence right now, then Simagic has won me over just slightly. Moza KS is also really good value but now it’s second fiddle.
Simagic user here! Shut up and take my money!
🤣🤣🤣
Wow, this gave Moza KS wheel a run for their money… They stepped up on the value even more which I thought wasn’t possible at this price range. I hope Moza isn’t going to let this slide ;)
That competition is crazy 😃
The guys here have achieved something incredible for the price 🔥
@@chepilevski Indeed they have. I do feel a little bit jealous for those who have their faith on Simagic now. :)
@@X1errathe difference is that one is a dedicated sim company with no other business while the other isn't ... No prizes guessing which is which.
@@chepilevski do you think the simagic neo is worth it to somebody who already has a KS wheel?
@snappedbydan I have the same question. The KS wheel at high NM force rattles like crazy and you hear all the plastics buttons rattle. I wonder if the same happens to this wheel?
Какой руль лучше, этот или круглый? Я понимаю , что круглый универсальный, но все же хочется этот
это зависит от машин, на которых вы ездите. для автомобилей GT это лучший выбор
@@chepilevski в Asseta Corsa лучше на Neo?
I'm seriously torn between this and the moza ks, since both will work with my wheelbase, which one do you recommend?
Neo is definitely better wheel buddy 🤛
Thank you!
My whole simrig is based on your recommendations and reviews, you've been of great great help.
Thank you so much!
@@chepilevski
Glad I took your advice again
Got it paired with my cammus 15nm, absolute beauty
Can this use in M10 base?
We definitely need good quality budget wheels. The market is flodded with too many premuim high end wheels and expensive use of materials for a sim rig.
Absolutely agree with you man
What size monitors do you use?
32 inch buddy
360 in Europe still vfm of course.
Yeh man, MSRP is good for some companies but here we have to pay quite a bit of VAT 🙈
how to i use this with my fantec dd pro base
You need the Fanatec podium hub or SimRacingMachine emulator.
The MagLink plate have different pattern holes to be attached to standard 50 or 70mm holes for the different quick releases on the market, Fanatec included 🤛
Moza KS vs Simagic Neo?
Well, this have simhub compatibility quite shifters better grips !
The KS was absolutely awesome but this is better in few aspects 🤛
So you can just bolt on a Fanatec QR2 and this will work? (no pins that will break etc?)
After there mess of Black Friday, I'm looking for a good GT wheel, and this might be it!
You will need a Fanatec podium connector. That's on Fanatec 😢
You will need Podium Hub for the base activation and this will work.
Does the fit on a normal 70mm Quick release?
yes with a mag link to use on another DD
@@RoadRashHDthat’s awesome. I can slap my simucube qr on this. Thanks for the reply.
I saw in there website they are working on different quick releases for all bases out there !
can use with console? Xbox x?
No but there is some conversation kit about that bit I personally don’t know much about 🙈
I am in a dilemma, I have the KS steering wheel and I still have to buy the motor base.
I have three options
Moza R12 + KS
Alpha mini + adapter to ks
Sell KS steering wheel and buy simagic NEO + alpha mini steering wheel
I heard that the feeling of the alpha mini is better than moza but its software is complicated compared to Moza
Where I live, a R12 MOZA base costs the same as a Simagic alpha mini.
It would only be $50 from the apadtator if I choose moza ks + alpha mini
I have felt that the shift paddles of this NEO do not transmit sensations, because they did not make any noise
Although once immersed in the game's audio it shouldn't matter and could even be positive
That’s true 😁
as someone who really enjoys rally racing I wish ANYONE would make a dedicated rally wheel. everyone is reinventing the same formula wheel. onroad racing is just flat out boring to me. way to sterile and clinical with zero room for error. I'd rather wait in line at the DMV than play road racing on the sim.
Response to Moza's KS?
🤔
No... it's been a while since they took out a wheel
Hello! Is simagic quick release compatible with moza one? Not gonna lie that I'm interested with this weel :p
I’m testing this wheel on that video with Moza R16 actually and the QR pattern is the same but you need the MagLink to use it with other bases including moza !
Damn!
What I don't like about simagic, and maybe generally about Chinese-made gadgets, is that they have to make everything a Christmas tree.
Way too much lights for my taste.
349€ in germany......
The VAT will change the price for different places and we have to pay quite a bit in Germany indeed 🙈
319eur in Poland.
@@Haro64 wow, that is quite a difference from Germany 🙈
That wheel looks Terrible sorry.
That’s fine Nick, we all have different tastes and I’m sure there will be people who will not like the esthetic.
Have a great Sunday mate 🍻
Lol😂😂😂😂 lovely comment
Great video as always, thank you! I dunno if there are many folks asking for this but I wish Simagic bases, wheels, and pedals worked with the PS5. I would buy their gear in a heartbeat *take-my-money.gif*. This wheel and the P1000 pedals (w/ haptic motors) have me drooling. Sooner than later I'll have to make the jump to PC sim racing just for the experience of better gear and sims.
They do. Just get a SIGMA converter ruclips.net/video/jgXgz5YvRHw/видео.htmlsi=ZWM6GMR8yhrGUkZP
Okay but where is it 289 though? It's more like 350 euros and some shops even ask close to 380.
