@@mikehammer1777Why would you sell your SC2 Pro when you can just buy the wheel for it? Unless you like throwing money away, I'll give you my address.
You can use it with the simucube with the adapter etc. Just look up how to use. I would never seel a simucube for a simagic base it just doesnt make sense. You have so many options with the simucube for wheels. Literally the best wheels from other manus ever made work easiest with simucube. @mikehammer1777
I’m normally a little wary of Chinese companies. But huge kudos to Simagic, they really are knocking it out of the park. I’ve just ordered myself one of these here in the UK, I’ll be pairing it with my SC2 Pro. I’ll also be getting a Simhub licence.
I'm a huge Simhub guy, a big selling feature for me. Ordered it right off the bat. Which i'll use with my Fanatec setup atm. Thanks for the review. I really think this wheel is the standard at this price point.
With Simhub you have so much more possibilities. For example, you can make the Flash Button blink, while the headlights are flashing in the sim. And here I mean, not only flashing for a period of time, no, it flashes while the headlights are flashing in the sim. I love this wheel! Works very fine on my Fanatec DD with Podium Hub.
Can't wait for mine to come in later this month. Great review! Thank you for all your reviews and Interview with the Simagic ecosystem. It helped me make my choice to go with the Simagic ecosystem.
I was about to pull the trigger on a more expensive wheel But man, this has more functions and half the price Also, it has got mag link so I can use it with my sim experience V2 base. Thanks for the honest review, Shaun
Great review, mine arrived couple of days ago so looking forward to trying it out. One MAJOR thing that has to be mentioned though (as I found out the hard way); for the Fanatec ecosystem you not only need the MagLink Cable + a Fanatec QR but also either the Podium Hub (expensive and out of stock) or something like the SRM Emulator (better price, well made and in stock).
Great non-nonsense review as usual Shaun. I already have the FX Pro and awaiting delivery of the NEO. Do I need it? No, but I personally like a separate wheel for Formula/LMP and a slightly larger wheel for GT/Touring cars. Simagic are really leading the charge in delivering quality products at a reasonable price.
As a Moza KS user, I'm a little bit jealous that it can look even cooler, but then I looked at my wheel again and thought yeah, I guess I'll stick with what I bought. It's good enough ^^
I have a Simagic GT4 USB on a VRS Direct Force Pro, it has worked well been three years now. Made out of carbon fiber and aluminum, but it was more money.
I really fallen in love how Thrustmaster Ferrari 488 GT3 rim looked like and I was considering getting it on the promo for $200, but this thing change everything...
If you *really* need to put something on the "cons" list: When driving over the curbs in ACC or LMU, the push buttons all go rattling. But that's coming from a very violent shaking through the wheelbase, and I think it can be mitigated by some o-rings or similar. Just ordered some and will try that.
Pretty sure i will get this wheel and the alpha mini. Now i just got to decide on a cockpit first. I actually got out of bed one night to order the sim lab px1 i was tired of thinking about it. I put it in the cart with the monitor mount.. $250 shipping (without) a seat! Went back to bed😂. You got any recommendations on cockpits for someone in the USA? Also like the trakracer tr8 but it didn't show them in stock.. idk what to do 😂
Thanks for this great review Shaun, this I can slide past the CFO and go to checkout ... new wheel day. Separate question for you, 2 years ago you made a review on the RSR21 wooden rig from Mark in the UK, how has that rig stood the test of time or what happened to it? Many thanks to you and the team.
I love my FX, this new Neo has some cool features. I can't get past the front faceplate look. I wish it were all black instead of that plastic composites showing. I don't like that reviews say the rotaries are plastic & the shape isn't as cool as the FX to me. There are definite pluses to the Neo though. What are you going to do?
I'm in the same boat. That price is just unbeatable though and I race in VR so the colors and stickers are irrelevant. I think I can justify getting this wheel too because the button/dial layouts are so different. FX has 2 more buttons and thumb wheels but one less rotary dial and joystick. Some cars I need more dials for adjustment and some more buttons. So I'll still use both wheels.
I've an FX as well (and also a GTS), I like the new GT Neo and the SimHub compatibility is nice BUT I would lose two buttons and two encoders, so it is a no for me. I would consider the Neo if I would have had the GT4 for example, though.
Thanks for review. Do you by any chance know or can clarify with Simagic whether grips are replaceable at that wheel as some of users complain that they are already wearing out.
I think its great for the price but when using this wheel and comparing to others its not so crazy that its mind blowngly good. Its like people are losing there minds and even stating its as good as 1500 dollar wheels and stuff. Im like woah now lol. This wheel listen its good for the price very good. But thats how i hope most wheels start coming at this price.
Good question but the instant issue is these wheel weight more than stock wheel or replacements for non DD entry level bases. This means their already low torque power of under 2.5Nm would feel more like 1.5Nm because the gears/belt has to work harder.
I forgot to mention that it comes with a set of stickers for the rotaries to add to your wheel.
This makes me want to sell my SC2 Pro, and cop a Simagic Alpha U.

I think it’s safe to say that this is the best value wheel ever made for sim racing.
You would be correct!
In europe its not so cheap
@@sjorsrozendaal218 Just paid 340€ for mine including the maglink cable :')

Loving how a lot more companies are not locking their equipment to their ecosystem.

Hard to beat that pricing this day of age!

That KS look absolutely great if not better than the GT Neo, the GT Neo looks more premium built tho.
Either of these two wheel is amazing for the price. No regrets brother !
No idea how you only got 52k subs, definitely deserve more. Love your reviews man.
I appreciate that!
Thanks for the review. Looks like an awesome wheel for the money!
Thanks for this review, Shaun. I just hit the Order button to use this on my Accuforce base.
Glad it was helpful!

If you Look for a gt wheel, get the gt4 simagic. Full carbon plate and by the time it was Released it was a 700$ wheel. Insane Produkt
Awesome review
I might buy this wheel for my Simucube, it looks great!
My inner monk was triggered when the DRS sticker was attached off center… 😱😅
The 13 pins is intriguing. I was considering getting an Alpha but maybe the extra pins will be used for a pass through USB like Asetek has.
I have the CSL DD. I was thinking of getting the GT3 V2. I might have to rethink after seeing this wheel.

You can look at microcenter, they carry some sim rigs, also check out Advanced Simracing.

I no longer have it, but the current owner is still enjoying it
I have the simagic fx and am honestly tempted to get this instead. Thoughts?
I have not used the FX, but I think it seems like a great wheel and already paid for

Don't think they are replaceable. But you can wrap it in tennis tape and it'll be fine
I have seen many pictures on the Internet of the NEO GT with its rubber handles peeling off. How is your after normal use?
Not so good: Not for people who have to show off how much money they spend on sim racing.
With sim hub, you have control of all 74 LED's with the maglink
theres also. anupdate coming to enable rotary switch mode on the centre dials

It won't without the Maglink add on.

13 pin whats up with that.
