@sanderbernsen thee r5 bundle was 649 on 16/11 in belgium. I took a screenshot back then to compare. However, the bundle is basically on a permanent sale, so including the sale it was 549 on 16/11. Also picked up every top sim racing games including 2 years of iracing. Super excited. Bought the R12 as my first DD wheel. Price to value ratio is the best, and the performance holds up really well. It’s the best option along with Simagic for those who don’t have a local Fanatec retailer like myself. :)
Simmagic has actually a lot better performance per buck ratio. The Simmagic base has just the higher resolution while also having a better Tourqe level and a peak torque at 13nm (not 10nm as advertised).
@@kreativerjungeI've heard. Did a lot of pondering between the two, but Simagic wheels are very scarce at least in my place, so Moza is the next best thing with their nice lineup of wheels in stock. If Simagic's got a good deal for you, I'd say go for it.
@@kreativerjunge how come, Simmagic state MAX is 10nm. Never seen giving them credits for FF quality, if there is a comparison please share. Asetek Prima (12) was best option for me so far, but I will wait for DD+ reviews another month or two.

I've the R5 and yesterday got the RS v2 which is a bit heavier and larger, and FF it's slightly dampened, but not that much. I don't like super strong force feedback as I'd like to enjoy driving with a certain amount of challenge without having to crazily fight the wheel to keep the car on track. Although now I have set the max torque to 100% both in game and on Moza software. Depending on the car used in AC he FF is almost identical as before with the new settings. Although sometimes a little bit more torque would be welcome. As I've bought the R5 as bundle initially, I've now CRP pedals and dont use the ES wheel anymore. So got sr p lite pedals and es wheel unused, as I've now GS V2P and RS V2 as wheels. Considering selling the R5 bundle and grab the R12 to get rid of unused pedals and wheel, I guess.
the problem with the qr is actually because of the cs wheel, i have the same issue with my moza ks but its fine, you just gotta be a bit aggressive when bolting on the steering wheel
I have this problem with the original ES wheel on my R5 for some reason. I've the GS V2P and RS V2 and these two get attached very quickly and easily. The Qr or ball bearings may need some lubrication.

Apparently its just an updated V2. For some reason they didnt call it a V3 and its luck of the draw which one you get depending on how old stock is. I got mine recently but got the old V2. Still happy though I didnt find out about the update till after I had already ordered
Appreciate the hard work, I recently had my own issues with Moza. I purchased the SR-P pedals with the brake mod which woulda been awesome had I not been sent used gear. I contacted Moza directly which was interesting, their customer service is a joke. I eventually was offered a refund by the US distributor I got the gear from(Sim Motion) but I won't ever order Moza gear again, the anxiety of spending this kind of money & wondering if I'm using someone's old rig..or a test unit that went out for review. Hard pass on Moza, I'm ordering my Asetek gear next week.
Hello, I'm still driving with my Fanatec CSW V1 since 2012. I'd like to purchase a direct drive Bundle (only base and wheel as I'll stay for the moment with my Fanatec pedals V2). Hey man. I just got an alpine Trak racer trx. I need help deciding on a wheel base . It’s between MOZA r12, simagic alpha (15nm), and fanatec clubsport dd+(15nm) help me decide please !!!
What did you get eventually? Teste yesterday the alpha, felt great in AC but some clipping (maybe software related). The Prima felt equally powerful and detailed, but no clipping. What goes against Asetek is the weight of the Al rims.
Can't say anything about the TH8S (TH8A is great) but the logitech shifter is total crap. It's just a toy basically, plastic on plastic on plastic - just junk quality.
So one other thing of note. I'm wondering why with the table mount they didn't include 2 sets of washers. Just a small thing. I am forced however between choosing to put washers on the rail that connects the clamps, or the bolts to connect it to the base.
Do you encounter the R12 wheel base motor weird buzzing sound? The sound would apper when power on the base and during driving, especilally on the final long straight line of Nürburgring Norschleife track, motor buzzing sound would became louder then any situation...I' received the wheel base yesterday and troubled me all night...
I think you have to customise the ffb settings. That probably high frequency FF vibration, and it depends on car, game played, and wheel base settings. This motors are very precise and high torque, so no surprise if they emit vibrations or buzzing sounds. They reproduce everything the game pass on it. Give it time to customise and learn how it works
Stay Away from Moza - Had had nothing but problems with their products since purchases. I have the H Shifter, Handbrake, KS wheel and Hub and I run a Simucube Pro base. Their hub seems to disconnect and restart always in the middle of races and half the time you have to exit the entire game to reset and your race is over either way. Do yourself a favor and and unless you're stuck with a Moza base, stay away from this ecosystem by a mile!!!!
