    Most peoppe I talk to feel a little creaking and hear it but its very very little. Even mine had some slightly but for a plastic wheel idk what conposite they are using def some cf mixed in there its the strongest plastic wheel ive rver felt. It also has some density it feels like a tank for being plastic. Love it
    Its one of if not my favorite gt wheel to use. Like legit goated af. Also idk why the new qr is off slightly it seems like the new ones just fit that way. So hopefully if we fit all of our wheels with new qrs we can fix that issue.

      Yep, I've been using it as my main GT3/GT4 for a bit now and am loving it. My FX only gets used when I drive GTP or LMP2 now

      Get one with me? Haha let's do this. Just go snag an fx pro ti replace out fx and boom. We will be using it more again gaurunteed.
      But for real I'm def getting an fx pro next.

    great video! I am interested in your setup, could you make another video about your pedals, and other wheels been wanting to get them but not sure since so many choices r out there.

      I do plan on making a general overview of my rig when I have the time, and will go more in depth on the pros/cons of the rest of my Simagic gear. Just need to find the time lol. The pedals have been solid, only had one issue that was quickly taken care of by the distributor

    If i didn't go with the moza r9 and moza gs gt wheel I definitely would've went with simmagic. The Simagic GT NEO in particular looks like a higher quality moza ks wheel for the same price. The backlit encoders is a great touch, and something I wish the moza gs gt wheel had.

      We're spoiled for good choices right now for sure! More competition is better for everyone.

    Great video. I'm keen to hear your thoughts on whether you'd get the FX over the GT Neo if you almost exclusively drive the W13 in iRacing? I'm tossing up between the two but feel like I'll only stretch to the FX if the Neo will leave me slower. Lap time for me is critical. If lap time is the same between both then yeah, I'd probably go the Neo.

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  5 месяцев назад

      I don't think the FX would really help with lap times, unless you are constantly making multiple adjustments per lap in the car, where the extra set of thumb encoders the FX has would come in handy.

    Hello! One question: you have the GTC steering wheel, how do you feel about the FFB compared to the FX and GT Neo? Its size is 32.5 cm and I think it's a little exaggerated, does this interfere with FFB? This steering wheel would be for me to use in GT. I have an Alpha base that has a little more strength. You recommend ?

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  5 месяцев назад

      It definitely dampens the FFB more than the FX or Neo, but it’s not night and day. For example I run the FFB in ACC about 5 higher on the GTC than the FX. I use it in AMS2 a lot and for things like Porsche Cup in ACC where I’m more likely to have to counter steer a lot.
      The grip shape is SUPER comfortable, probably the most comfy wheel I have from them (the D shape rim they sell is the same grip too).

    • @celiohigashi
      @celiohigashi 5 месяцев назад

      @@bfife22 I really like round steering wheels because they are very comfortable, but they hide the view of my dashboard and screen, while the formula ones are very agile, have good vision, but are less comfortable. I already have a round one and a formula one, I think Simagic could have made this U steering wheel in a diameter of 30 cm and not 32.5 which I think is very exaggerated.
      Thanks for the answer !

    Curious if you would buy simagic again? I'm going to make my first build purchase in the next week. Hope you post your thoughts soon! Subscribed.

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  17 дней назад +1

      @@anonymous_friend Yes I would, especially the wheelbase itself. I’ve had absolutely zero problems with it.
      I like my pedals and shifters, but there are so many different options that some others could work better for you, depending on what you were looking for

    • @anonymous_friend
      @anonymous_friend 17 дней назад

      @@bfife22 I was thinking about getting all Simagic stuff, probably the p1000 pedals. To start I would be using a Sigma Cortex with a PS5 to play VR2 Gran Tourismo, then eventually build a gaming pc if I stick with racing. I'm not sure the sigma cortex would allow me to mix and match different brands together.

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  17 дней назад +1

      @@anonymous_friend yeah that’s a good point on the Cortex, I’d stick with 1 brand to be safe.

    I have the same issue with my quick release being 2 degrees off of my GT1 wheel. I also didn't receive my button stickers, tweezers or allen key. Slightly dissapointed.

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  4 месяца назад +1

      I’d reach out to the vendor you purchased it from about the stickers. They should be able to get them to you.
      Simagic support confirmed with me that the new QR is a new design and the 2 degrees off of the old one is in within spec

      @@bfife22 I am guessing this is not an issue if the maglink is used?

  • @DKTrickster

    Does the quick release come with the wheel? I thought it was a separate purchase.

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  4 месяца назад

      The Simagic quick release comes with the wheel, but will only work on Simagic bases. You need Maglink to allow another brands QR to be attached to the wheel, it replaces the Simagic one

    is the maglink cable included or would I need to buy that separately?

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  4 месяца назад

      Maglink is a separate purchase. It’s about $20 USD. Currently the GT Neo is the only Simagic wheel that uses it, but I would be surprised if any of the future wheels going forward didn’t use it

    • @joumasevoet
      @joumasevoet 4 месяца назад

      @@bfife22 awesome thanks, needed to know so I can make the purchase. I'm thinking there will be a V2 of their current lineup that includes the slot for the maglink upgrade.

    2 months later now.... how did you with Simagic and the Ticket you submitted?

    • @bfife22
      @bfife22  3 месяца назад +1

      They got back to me quick and said it was within spec, and it’s just that the new design may be aligned a few degrees differently than their old QR design. The QR itself functions perfectly fine. I’d imagine any new Simagic wheels going forward will have the new QR design and will be aligned the same as the NEO, but we’ll have to see.

      @@bfife22 oh damn, hope it doesn't have too much effect on the new wheels. I have a full Simagic Ecosystem (Alpha 15nm, P1000's, GTS Leather Wheel, DS-8X Shifter, TB-1 Handbrake, Sigma Cortex Converter etc) coming my way in the next couple of weeks, so hope it's not too bad. I'm also considering getting a GT Neo too hehe. Thanks for your quick reply 😊 Don, Perth W.Australia (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)
