@@OCRacinguhm would not agree in general ... lets compare buttons to buttons for example. MOZAs are of way better quality id say when i listen to those on the neo. 3 rotaries on the front with the MOZA vs 4 with the neo. Okay ... one for the neo. Same with the housing. This goes to SOMAGIC and thats kind of a bummer with MOZAs KS ... but the thumb rotaries and toggles are better on the MOZA again. And then we have pnp on MOZAs system vs a USB connection... so they both have pros and cons but lets keep it honest. Id still prefer the KS over this. Since most people run drivers + simhub anyway there is ne benefit or disadvantage The KS is as compatible as this one ... ;) it comes with everything for adaptation aswell... quality is quite a subjective topic. I simply wouldnt switch. KS is sturdy AF with absolute 0 flex. So what benefit does really come with the carbon fiber than this idea in the back of your head that persieves this as "better quality"? In the end its a surface...
@@alecmillea4539 where is the need for that if i have to run the base drivers anyway ... And i still run simhub for my button box ... dash runs Moza, wheelbase runs Moza. So as i said this is no benefit nor disadvantage
@@Timmy_with_CTRL The MOZA KS is only compatible with other bases if you get the Universal Hub Kit (39 USD), which costs more than the Maglink that Simagic is offering (19 USD). Your point of the PnP for the KS is kinda redundant cause you still gotta have an extra hub vs just a USB for third-party compatibility lol. Thumb encoders on the KS are made of plastic vs the GT Neo, which are made of aluminium. The KS has analog thumbsticks that translate to digital signal for some reason, but the GT Neo has 7-way funky switches. The KS is not Simhub compatible, so that's already a big disadvantage in customization. Plus, the GT Neo has LEDs for the rotary encoders, AND has the customization already built into their own software, so you don't even need Simhub. I've handled both the GT Neo and the KS in person, and the GT Neo is straight up built better. Ultimately, we'll be biased towards any of the Rims, but your comment literally pointed out the KS' flaws (No. of rotary encoders, Rim & knob material, Customizability with the LEDs). This isn't any reason to switch to the GT Neo if you already have a KS, but it sure as hell has a higher value proposition than the KS

can I use an fanatic wheelbase with this wheel
this wheel will not work on a Fanatec base for PS5 right?
Not for console no
If any of your wheels go missing just know it wasn’t me😂
😂
It works on moza base without the simagic cable link?
no, and vice versa (Moza KS wheel on Simagic base)
Looks like a bargain compared to the other wheels in this price point. I am into simagic eco system with a Alpha wooho
how does it compare to the ks wheel from moza?
A whole level better. When you actually get to test them side by side the difference is shocking
It's a great wheel, but the frame is made of carbon composite (reïnforced plastic) It's the same material as the Asetek wheels and the shaft of the CLS DD. This wheel has one layer of real forged carbon.
Where are your gloves from
One thing you didn't mention is this is the first Simagic wheel you can use with simhub.
You can use this with the simucube 2 pro?
You're right Oscar it's a beautiful rim😊🙋👍
It sure is 😅
Hi I have the Fanatec CSW V 2.5 Wheelbase but I dont find any Quick realistisch Essays for it does anyone ine something
does it work on the t300rs for ps5?
Unfortunately no, it will not work on consoles
Can i use this on moza?
yes with Maglink
@@mArvAlcao71 ok thank you
Review the simlab handbrake
Does it go on logi g pro?
logi hasint released a 70mm qr and no one has made a 3ed party one yet. so no you cant put it on a logi g pro. logi has locked thare ecosystem for the g pro more than fanatec has locked thare ecosystem.
@@TheRivalryDriftinglogi has no ecosystem really. It’s been so long and still nothing from them which is weird
wanted to get a Fanatec Mclaren GT3 rim but I don't think I will after seeing this
Damn, the MOZA KS doesn't look as good now. 😂
This launches 2 weeks after I buy the KS. fFS
Without the KS launching you wouldn't have this wheel
@@scorps0326 I know. Simagic probably wanted to challenge MOZA.
@@scorps0326without Simagic, there would not be a Moza. Simagic is the pioneer Chinese DD sim company and their QR system was copied by moza at the start
@@wangte27 maybe so. I think moza more copied fanatec haha. Especially with the R9. I'm fairly sure the QR come out of real world application race cars before simagic or moza had it. I could be wrong.
Either way, cheaper products is a win win for everyone 👍
could that work on csl dd?
Yes, but you also need the Fanatec Podium Hub, which is expensive.
You're right i forgot about that, fck.
Shame cause the wheel is stunning
Oscar is the best sim racing content creator
Truly honored ✋😔
So I'm guessing you can't use this wheel on PlayStation?
Nope
@@OCRacing I've seen there's a unit that supposedly makes Simagic compatible with all platforms. Have you seen it? A Sigma Cortex?
You mention production cost of this wheel...I can tell you that wheel is about 50 dollars to produce, and in the real world should cost 125-150 dollars but we are so programmed to pay extreme prices because this hobby is niche and low volume. Thats not the case anymore, atleast not as niche as it was 10 years ago. Prices need to start coming down so we can finally attract more and more sim racers.
Simagic needs to get PlayStation Licensing!
Brilliant package but I am getting more and more used to the all-metal construction feel... may be too late for me. Cheers,
damn!! IMMA GET IT ON PREORDER
3% off using code ocracing 🥸
can i use this on a logitech g29 xD
Will it work on a Thrustmaster T300 wheel base?
Too heavy and too big
So not ANY wheel base then. 😁 Looks great though…..
It will if you get a TM side QR & the Maglink.
I preordered mine a month ago to use on my T300 hahaha
The regular T300 rim weights about 1.2kg, the GT Neo is 1.5kgm and is larger in diameter @ 30cm, so I do expect a decrease in FFB
Got this to lock myself into upgrading my base anyway, so its a lil investment
@@60000L The Simagic QR weighs 400 grams and the TM one much less...
@@60000L You will increase the chances of heating up and killing your base.
The t300 wheel is already too heavy, which is why many prefer the open wheel, which is lighter
Does it work wirh t248😂
I think it needs a screen. Good vid oc!
Probably impossible at this price 😢
honstly the only thing ive ever heard people say about wheels with screens is it looks cool but i never look at it well racing. kinda defats the point of a screen if your never gonna look at it and use it
fanatec needs to release something to beat this and the MOZA KS
fanatec dosint need to do anything cus even if there users buy a gt neo thares a good chance thare gonna buy a fanatec qr and podium hub instead of buying an emulator
Pre ordered it, it's a shame it's $400 in Europe instead of $290
I don't see any buddons on the wheel. Just buttons. ;)
only 290 dollars is a steal
Yeah, extremely competitive at that price
I will sell my Formula V2.5 X once it´s arrived and buy this instead
This would make sense if they beat the others brands price ... which is barely valid for the moza ks wheel for example ...
The KS wheel doesn’t come close when it comes to quality though. This is levels above it
No other brand makes a simhub compatible wheel with this quality and functionality for anywhere near this price. Closest I can think of is the grid MPX which is over $1000
@@OCRacinguhm would not agree in general ... lets compare buttons to buttons for example. Since most people run drivers + simhub anyway there is ne benefit or disadvantage
The KS is as compatible as this one ... ;) it comes with everything for adaptation aswell... quality is quite a subjective topic.
This isn't any reason to switch to the GT Neo if you already have a KS, but it sure as hell has a higher value proposition than the KS
do the KS god damnt!!!!
3% percent off is pathetic but wonderful wheel and i will pick it up with your discount code
It is really bad and I should probably talk to them about increasing it 🤣 still better than nothing to be fair haha. Thanks for the support
When you don’t even have 290 dollars 😳.
Affordable damn... That's over half a month of rent XD
That's about 3 days rent here... lol

Downvoted because you don't test it with maglink and show if it's usable or not.
