Hi Anne! I have a naan video as well. But it uses yeast :) ruclips.net/video/pgq0QpmYCiI/видео.html You are welcome! You commented on the naan video already haha :)
Thank you for sharing, I'm at home and I decided that I wanted to make flatbread with my dinner but I don't have yogurt and I don't feel like going back out to the store so I jumped on youtube to see what else can I use and your video was the first one at the top and lucky for me I do have some sour cream in the fridge. 🤗
Good one, Matt. My aunt makes flatbread a lot. Sorry not to get to this sooner, just snowed under at the moment. I'm keen to watch your video of the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and will get to it as soon as I can. Keep up the great work and videos. :)
I made this and it turned out pretty good. although it was a bit too salty for me. any recommendation on what to add to make it less salty? I used these to make a pita bread pizza and it would be perfect if the bread was little less salty.
Hi, Matt. Thanks again ... I often make pita bread but that takes so long because of the yeast. Today, I forgot to start my yeast, so this recipe was quick and easy. I'm serving a spicy curry chicken! Lots of love 💘 (I still think you're one of my long-lost cousins.) Ruth Taylor from Texas
Hi "Cousin" Ruth! :) That is awesome that you tried this and liked it. Yeah, I really like how quick and simple this is to make. I still like yeast based a little better, but these aren't too shabby at all.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt Hey Cuz'n. Well, the whole stack disappeared! I don't know where they went! I used about a third whole wheat flour and the rest regular white flour, sour cream and a splash of olive oil ... Very tasty! Much love 💕
That looks so easy and tasty! When I’ve made flatbread before (different recipe) it got all stiff and hard by the next day. Any suggestions on how to store these so they’ll stay soft?
Only 2 Ingredients???? I counted 4. I just tried the recipe. Not bad. I like it as I am able to control the salt instead of store-bought flatbread with too much salt per piece. As well as the ingredients - I know where they came from or add chopped garlic or other savories.
Um no you didn't count 4 ingredients. Self-rising flour and sour cream which is what I used in the video. That is only 2 ingredients. If you don't have self-rising flour then yes you need 4 ingredients (flour, salt, and baking powder, plus the sour cream or yogurt)
Excited to watch. The flatbread came out so well, looking soft and tasty.
Thank you!
I have always used yogurt but had never thought of using sour cream. I will definitely try it. Thanks Matt.
Awesome, Vicki! :) Yeah, give it a try with sour cream and see how you like it. :)
God bless you and your family🙌 thank you so much for the recipe😄
Thank you so much, same to you!
Bless you Matt, family and subscribers Matt , Thank you for all you do , and these great video lessons and recipes :)
Thank you so much! :) :) And you are very welcome. :)
Something similar, we call it naan bread here in India. It's healthier to make with whole wheat flour. Thank u Matt.:)

Can't wait to try it; sour cream is in today's grocery order. How well do these freeze?
Good luck! These freeze very well. :)
Tasty recipe
Thank you!
Hey Matt, still enjoying your Italian bread recipe. And many others. You’re awesome my friend, hope you’re doing well!
Thank you so much, Brandon!! :) I am doing very well, thanks again!

I used these to make a pita bread pizza and it would be perfect if the bread was little less salty.
If it was too salty, you may have measured the salt incorrectly. You can always reduce the salt added.

Thanks! :) Store in plastic bag after they have cooled. Or wrap each one in plastic wrap.
Awesome, thank you Matt.🍄
Thank you! you are welcome!
Can I use a plain whole milk yogurt instead of Greek yogurt or sour cream as a substitute?
I use sour cream in this video. :) But yes, you can use plain whole milk yogurt instead of Greek yogurt.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt Thank you for replying! :)

@@inthekitchenwithmatt Just made them Matt and they turned out perfectly. Great recipe!
@@joy7437 Glad you gave them a try already!! :) Thank you!
Hey Matt, lovely recipe. I'm wondering if I could oven bake these?
Thank you, Deni, they will turn out a little differently and take longer, but try them at 350F/176C for 15 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
You are very welcome, Jamie!
Hmmm, that looks yummy, and super easy, would be delicious with a curry 👌 the possibilities is endless 👍 🇿🇦
Thank you, Bonita! Yes, very delicious with curries!
I’m going to make these one day.
You should, Matt!!!
Thanks for sharing
You are welcome!
looks yummy
Thank you, Tyler!
Do you have a video already on how to season the skillet?
No I don't, Eugene, at some point I will make one. :)
Any idea if this would work with gluten flour? Thanks
Do you mean gluten-free flour? I do not, I haven't tried it with gluten-free flour.
Can you use gluten free all purpose flour?
I haven't tried, so I can't say for certain. I don't see why not. Give it a try! A super easy recipe to experiment with.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt yes. I will give it a shot thank you.
