    I have always used yogurt but had never thought of using sour cream. I will definitely try it. Thanks Matt.

    Something similar, we call it naan bread here in India. It's healthier to make with whole wheat flour. Thank u Matt.:)

    Thank you for sharing, I'm at home and I decided that I wanted to make flatbread with my dinner but I don't have yogurt and I don't feel like going back out to the store so I jumped on youtube to see what else can I use and your video was the first one at the top and lucky for me I do have some sour cream in the fridge. 🤗

    Good one, Matt. My aunt makes flatbread a lot. Sorry not to get to this sooner, just snowed under at the moment. I'm keen to watch your video of the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, and will get to it as soon as I can. Keep up the great work and videos. :)

    I made this and it turned out pretty good. although it was a bit too salty for me. any recommendation on what to add to make it less salty?
    I used these to make a pita bread pizza and it would be perfect if the bread was little less salty.

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  2 года назад +2

      If it was too salty, you may have measured the salt incorrectly. You can always reduce the salt added.

    Hi, Matt. Thanks again ... I often make pita bread but that takes so long because of the yeast. Today, I forgot to start my yeast, so this recipe was quick and easy. I'm serving a spicy curry chicken! Lots of love 💘 (I still think you're one of my long-lost cousins.)

      Hi "Cousin" Ruth! :) That is awesome that you tried this and liked it. Yeah, I really like how quick and simple this is to make. I still like yeast based a little better, but these aren't too shabby at all.

    That looks so easy and tasty! When I’ve made flatbread before (different recipe) it got all stiff and hard by the next day. Any suggestions on how to store these so they’ll stay soft?

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! :) Store in plastic bag after they have cooled. Or wrap each one in plastic wrap.

    Can I use a plain whole milk yogurt instead of Greek yogurt or sour cream as a substitute?

    Only 2 Ingredients???? I counted 4.
    I just tried the recipe. Not bad. I like it as I am able to control the salt instead of store-bought flatbread with too much salt per piece. As well as the ingredients - I know where they came from or add chopped garlic or other savories.

    • @inthekitchenwithmatt
      @inthekitchenwithmatt  2 года назад +1

      Um no you didn't count 4 ingredients. Self-rising flour and sour cream which is what I used in the video. That is only 2 ingredients. If you don't have self-rising flour then yes you need 4 ingredients (flour, salt, and baking powder, plus the sour cream or yogurt)
