I recently redownloaded Skyrim & installed LOTS of mods. The game loads fine, runs for awhile, then freezes up. After days or research, I came across a tutorial for the SSEEdit on the Nexus. I tried doing that but SSEEdit said that it was an outdated function. (Cleaning master files). Somehow, not sure how, I came across your videos. This video was painless. It walked me through how to use that software flawlessly. That led me to your page, where I quickly became a subscriber. And what did I find on this page? hands down the best tutorial video i've ever seen: aren't obnoxious, jokes take like 5 seconds, straight to the point, don't stutter, slow enough to where I can remember most of what it is you're saying, not having to pause every minute. and you managed to keep all that condensed to 6 minutes. just clear cut. genuinely, thanks. it's refreshing.
I have been Modding this game since oblivion before Skyrim launched and I have NEVER understood the cleaning process completely, until now. Best tutorial I have ever seen.

I was a bit nervous when I tried to manually clean my files and it told me the guide I followed was outdated. Saw I super helpful "Videos" tooltip on the top right of TES5Edit and it lead me to you. Super grateful for your help in starting Skyrim again. Cheers!
Happy it helped = ) It's really difficult to truly mess up the game. Very easy to make it not work temporarily = ) If you create backups of saves and vanilla files... and only install one or two mods as you go (so you know what mods caused the issues if there were any as you test) you'll be fine. The downfall for most people is thinking that they can toss a bunch of mods in and just play the game without issues.
this is my go-to tutorial foi any xedit problems i face, i gotta say you're one of the most charismatic and effortful people i've ever seen, the care and production level you endorse into your videos are inspiring!

There is one other benefit to cleaning mods: Beleive it or not it will help with game performance if you use a lot of mods. I did it long ago with 500 or so mods in load order, some i tagged with esl tag via wrye bash to lighten the load order and game ran at ultra settings with small changes through bethini smooth and lag free. I also tend to in order have smooth perfomance avoid getting close to plugin limit and use esls or eps tagged as esls as much as possible. One other kink i'll have to work out is texture replacements and merging them to reduce impact on performance and to lighten load order even further.
Awesome tutorial, friend! Man, I still remember all those years ago when you just started doing Paxton's play-through.
