Historic Route 66 Winslow AZ - Twin Arrows AZ

We explore some great venues in Winslow Arizona on Route 66 #5. Winslow
AZ is home to the tribute to the Eagles' Famous song "Take it Easy" with a line about "Standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona," and a mention of "It's a girl my lord in a flat bed Ford." These are things you will see in Downtown Winslow. We also explore the exquisite La Posada Hotel and train station with art by Tina Mion. We check out the 9-11 Remembrance Garden, and also the famous Ghost Town of Two Guns and explain its colorful history. Boondock camping is done at Twin Arrows Casino.

I'm in the Winslow area. I was wondering what to see there? I'll look forward to that trip today..

I think I saw the major attractions there but of course there is more. The song that made Winslow famous and was the inspiration for the downtown attraction was "Take it Easy" by the Eagles. I think it was recorded around 1972. Enjoy Winslow!
