  • Traveling from Gallup New Mexico to Winslow Arizona on Route 66 #4, we check out Gallup with abandoned motels and the art district. We check out a vintage bridge in Sanders that was a part of Route 66 until 1931. Then on to the quirky Stewart's Petrified Wood Shop. and finally to Holbrook, AZ where we check out the vintage cars at the Wigwam Motel, one of only two remaining facilities and now serving travelers.

    8:25 We drive by the one you refer to as the San Bernardino location. It's actually in Rialto, California which borders San Bernardino on the west side. We've never stayed because we're afraid, but reviews online say it's decent.
