It is so sad to see so many abandoned buildings. They were important to many people, i feel that way when I see abandoned homes here in CT too. Beautiful scenery from Route 66, I love all of the different landscapes of the land.
It always gives me a strange feeling seeing all those abandoned places. You think about how it used to be, all the people that used to go there and how busy they once were and now they're just empty. Abandoned and even lonely looking. It's sad but yet fascinating.
I love the old missions. When I was a kid growing up in Southern California we used to go to the San Juan Capistrano mission. I still haven't gone to the ones here in San Antonio and I've been living here now for 10 years. I don't really have an excuse I just get so busy working I don't take advantage of a lot of cool sights.
You can easily do the SA missions in a day. The only one that rivals Capistrano is San Jose but all of them have their own charm. Take a day off during the off-season for tourists and do it, you'll be glad. Take it from this old SA guy!
Those baskets look like old repurposed satellite dishes.I love this whole adventure you guys are on,I am really enjoying getting to see more of Scott. These travels remind me of vacations we took as a family when I was a child. The motor courts, swimming for hours in the pool, eating at Howard Johnsons,It was all magic and now precious memories, thank you for bringing some of the magic back to my heart
Hey Jordan, Thanks so much for your Video about Gallup. I used to live there and stayed there through high school and it's a truly, truly unique town. I can't think of a better place to spend so many formative years with all the diversity that they have there. I could tell you a million stories that would sound so unbelievable. My 50th high school reunion is coming up this summer and it's hard to believe that it's been that long! Thanks again!
The Indian Market! ❤❤ Hotel El Rancho... Now on my bucket list! ❤ Love the ghost towns...but wonder what lives were lived in those now empty buildings. Thank you Jordan Fantastic journey! 💪❤
Thank you so much for sharing these videos and your trip with us! I get up every morning looking forward to seeing the next part of your trip. You and Scott have spoiled us :)
My dads mate died in the 1979 Appin mine disaster in here Australia, 14 of the 46 men working lost their lives. RIP to all men who have perished in the mines. Thanks Jordan. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
I have to say, my favorite today was the crosses and all the autographed pictures of the classic stars...love, them all! Thanks, Jordan!! Continued safe travels for you both!!! Papaw 🙏
This is why I first started watching vloggers. I am obsessed with abandoned places. Years ago I once typed in Abandoned Places and the rest is history. Thanks for letting us tag along.
Jordan, thank you for passing by the Route 66 Hotel and Casino. We love to go there and have stayed and gambled there up from El Paso, Texas. The birthplace of Irene Ryan, Debbie Reynolds, Gene Roddenberry and former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
Looks like you've had great weather so far. Beautiful skies. Some of the scenery reminds me of Thelma and Louise. My father was a miner. They worked their tails off. The underwear at 15:58 😂
Thank you love the video. You are amazing and so is Scott, been watching you both for 2 yrs and watching video when you guys started I think I have seen almost all now
Awesome video. I hope we get experience route66 one day. I am not allowed to watch your videos until the evening and my family watch it together. You guys have amazing towns free or cheap experiences and activities. Great work Jordan and Scott.
Hi Jordan & Scott, such amazing little things all over Route 66, I loved Owl Rock. What beautiful scenery aswell. That was a lovely Gift Shop, some really nice things. I'd love to stop at the El Rancho. Great vlog Jordan.
Love everything I see, I'd make a great tourist. Hey, Scott we love you and I think Jordan would like you to talk so talk it up. Scott I love your channel. thanks guys
I got to go down into a salt mine in Kansas once. Pretty cool and amazing they still work like that. We explored a section they had already mined out. Love watching both of your vlogs!
That Uranium cave was AWESOME!!!!!! Another one added to our DO list. The Indian Souvenir Place was way cool too. Reminded me going as a kid to the Reservation making arrows and tomahawks. Growing up as a Cherokee made summers fun as a kid. Not so much at school. I cut all my long hair off and tried to fit in, dumb mistake. You can't hide who you really are.
Very good video. I alway learn so much when I watch you. I have been to NM and Taos I live in Colorado. I never have seen the area you were in. Thank you and was nice to see Scott trailing along with you☺️
WOW…great as always ❤❤….Beautiful Scenery ♥️🫶😍 I have to say, USA Gas is so much cheaper still then Ontario Canada. With Litre conversion from gallon , USA pays approximately 97 cents per Litre. Our Litres run between $1.50 to $ 1.63 per Litre. for REGULAR Gas. JUST SAYIN 😮😳😬
I am from San Fidel and my family owned the bar there and at one time a restaurant by the Whiting Brothers. Many of the places from Budville up through Grants, NM are still owned by families. I'd love to give you the actual history on Many of the places you mentioned and displayed on your video.
Cool. Had no idea where the actual Continental Divide was. That was the first movie I ever did extra work on with John Belushi when they were filming part of the movie in Chicago...I remember I went to register for extra work at a Holiday Inn on Ohio St and when I got to where you were supposed to sign up there was just a card table set up outside the hotel room with little cards to fill out and attach your photo to. I didn't have a pen so went back down to the lobby to borrow one to fill out the card and just happened to get into the elevator on the way back up with the extras casting director Lisa Gottlieb. She signed me up for five days of work on it...that was cool...
Love that artwork display you showed, Jordan. I will never have the chance of going through all of Route 66. Thank you for the adventures, enthusiasm and honesty in your videos. ❤️🙏🏻😎🚘
I have been to the route 66 casino it's really cool to check out inside most of it is alien themed 😂 but there is a really cool resteraunt with old classic cars like busting throw the walls and live bands also and the bar is a alien space ship u sit in
Jordan, as usual, I'm having fun with you. I really am jealous though, that I couldn't go along. Maybe in my next life. Did you ever go to the Kokopelli shop in Vandalia? They have tons of jewelry, Kachinas, dream catchers, native American music CD's. It's a wonderful place. It's on Little York Rd., off Dixie. Stay safe, and see you tomorrow.
I'd love to see an episode where you show all the trinkets that you bought.
blue sky white cloud wind desert road goes forever so good trip

Pet rocks in New Mexico.
Those old deserted places give me such a feeling of melancholy. When does the time go?
