Jordan, the detour is a fine idea. I've never seen Roswell either. That's what makes this trip so special are the surprise stops and hidden treats! Loving each day with you two.
Its always a treat to see where you two will be each day and the tour you take us on. Im going to miss this when you guys finish up the trip. Your chemistry makes the vlog even better. Thanks for bringing us along.
Scott wearing the CKLW shirt. Grew up in Detroit in the 60s listening to the Big 8 from across the river in Windsor Ontario. Kind of strange seeing this while looking at Billy the Kid and aliens!
Hey Jordan I’m adding all your Route 66 to my watch later….gonna enjoy watching them all at once (if poss) in my day off with no work/kid/hubby/life My ambition is to do Route 66 when I retire. Probably just a dream but hey why not dream a little. You never it may happen 😊
another memory was when me and my parents went to see Billy the kids grave and museum, never knew about where he was shot, thanks for sharing that. Vaughn is another place we went to. wish you safe travels.
I've been watching mostly lives on another topic that's kind of heavy, but last night I started binging Route 66. I'm on Day 13, Shamrock to Amarillo TX. Y'all are so happy, even when faced with adversity. I needed that! Scott needs to SHUT UP though! LOL! After I'm done with Jordan, I'll binge Scott! Loving you both!
My son was fascinated with Billy the Kid in 1991. We traveled to the gravesite of Billy. An old old man working at the museum told us Billy isn’t really buried at the gravesite. He was buried on a property (I forget now where he said it was) that got washed away when a river rose up flooded the land and his corpse washed away.
Hi Jordan & Scott, I love the street lights in Roswell. Oh that Spacewalk was so much fun. I have always been fascinated by the Roswell story, I wonder if we will ever really know. Great vlog Jordan.
Jordan you have dazzled us with fantastic sightseeing for years. I did not mean anything bad about you with the gas stations. You and Scott are both great!
I think the spaceship was behind the fence in that group of trees. If I remember the newspaper clipping. Very informative video Jordan. Thank you. 10:42
My roommate grew up with Travis Walton’s son Luke. He was just here visiting us in Oregon and he said they are making another documentary about his dad. Sooo interesting. I’d love to see Billy the Kids grave. I wish people wouldn’t ruin history by taking artifacts. Now Billy is permanently in jail. Ironic? Idk 🤷🏼♀️ :)
My husband and I did a Billy the Kid adventure in N.M, 5 years ago. The museum was amazing! However, at the time you couldn't even get close to where he was killed. It was all private property. What a great opportunity for you guys. Makes my heart happy watching. Thank you for all you guys do!
The great Route 66 road trip continues. What is so great about a road trip is that it is flexible in that you can deviate from your "plan". Loved the side trip to Roswell. Thanks Jordan and Scott. Continued safe travels.
Thanks for the current tour of ABQ. I moved to TX about 17 yrs ago but while I was there, I heard about Bart Prince from several people. I ended up working at a small business in the neighborhood. His house number was the same as ours just different street. We got his mail and I used this opportunity to get my foot into that place. It had this amazing door that looked so heavy but it pivoted open in the easiest way. I can't remember if I rang a bell or barged in. The entrance area was used as an architecture office. I wanted to stop and scan everything but I managed to act civilized and not overstay my welcome. This was way before art became more public so there were no downtown murals and the place next to the Spaceship definitely was not there. Appreciated the reminder and seeing it in present day. Safe travels!!
Another great episode. Once more, fascinating stops and enjoyable company. Full marks to Scott for spotting the spaceship house. Thank you both for making this such a brilliant adventure.
I love detours very cool and Roswell too loved this trip🐾😎 I believe Goddard ended up in Auburn MA, there is a library with a rocket ship dedicated to him, we use to visit it often 🐾
I forgot what day of my holiday I am on, I’m enjoying myself so much and you know what ? I don’t mind you 2 tagging along with me 😂 Thanks Jordan ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
That was a great trip down memory lane. That whole area was part of my dads territory and we got to travel with him when we were kids. That was before all the tourist stuff in Roswell. Billy the kid was a great trip. You were not to far from Lincoln where the Young Guns were based out of. Next time. Thanks guys. I am enjoying this trip.
Even though it was a tad off the Route 66 it's a must see. When we lived in El Paso we would go up visit Roswell once a year. We would go for the UFO festival in July. Our kids were young and we all had a blast. Billy the kid grave was way too much fun! So much of America's wild west history right before your eye's. If you guys ever come back to SW Texas you should visit Cattleman's Ranch in Fabens, Texas. Great food and you get a free hayride tour in the Desert. They take ya to movie sets still there. Like Courage Under Fire and a few more. Bring water and lookout for rattle snakes. 🙂
Great side trip! So interesting to hear about Billy the Kid. You have done such an amazing job on this road trip adventure. I'm sure you must be tired and I just want to say thank you & let you know how much I appreciate all that you do for us!
Hi Jordan and Scott, on day 17 was fun, y'all keep providing an awesome trip. It was fun seeing the locations, so keep enjoying the journey. Stay safe, and I will see y'all tomorrow.
Spectacular video Jordan. You can't go all that way and miss Roswell. I hope you had the chance to visit Oatman or Kingman . America is great for history; but free or affordable prices. My Mum loves your channel. I hope Grand Dad is getting stronger and healing.
Oh man!! I love this!! I've always wanted to visit Roswell. I want to believe!!! Always been fascinated with aliens and UFOs. Saw one myself when I was about 14. Still haunts me to this day. This was a great detour!
I love this video! When I go out to visit my sister (she lives in Vegas), we have to go to Roswell! Thank you for showing us Billy the Kid's grave, he was so young. I love this road trip you and Scott are taking!
Awesome ! I was hoping you would take a side trip to Fort Sumner from Santa Rosa. Can't wait to watch this one. We took the same detour in 2005 moving to Kentucky.
Another day on the road with you and Scott. You don't have to stay on Route 66 if there's nothing to see. It's nice you show Scott some things he's never seen before. This is your trip, and you can go wherever you want to. I didn't know Aliens ate burritos until now. Lol. This was fun. Thanks for showing us around. You and Scott take care.
Hi Jordan, I have been enjoying the Route 66 road trip series with you and Scott. You know what is scarier than the Alien museum? The screaming kid inside the Alien museum. Were the aliens taking him to another planet? 😱😱😱👽👽👽 Sure hope you got something for Jah in alien form at the gift shop 🐶 Take care and stay safe 🙃🙃🙃
I have a story that actually happened. I still don't know what to believe. When I was a teenager, my sister worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She took me to work with her. One of the gentlemen that worked there took me downstairs and there was a top security clearance. Everything was behind doors and windows that had bars up. There were big freezers. Of course I couldn't go in. The gentleman said, (He was over that area and had a PhD.) that is where the alien bodies are kept. It was the same area and building that has since appeared on the news. I do have a question about this, why would this gentleman tell me this story? I do still remember his name, which I won't post. I have always wondered.
Hiyas cuties ❤ Ya know, them utility poles all kinda look like crosses to me, 😂. I wonder why there are utility poles in the first place. Over here in Germany, the cables and stuff are beneath ground. Anywhoos, back to Roswell I go love ya both ❤
I just watched your video on Little Richard's childhood home. When it was over, this video played. You mentioned being a fan of the Young Guns movies, so I figured I'd share a little fact that's related to my late husband's family. The brothel owner in YG 2 is a woman named Jane Greathouse, but in reality the brothel owners name was 'Whiskey' Jim Greathouse who is in some way a relative of my late husband whose name just happened to be Jim Greathouse. Do a Google on Whiskey Jim and Billy The Kid and you'll find a very interesting story about Billy being at Jim's house.
Thank you for showing Roswell I have always been a believer in Aliens and UFOs Roswell as always been #1 on bucket list so again Thank You for bringing me their though your vlogs
Not sure if you’ve been but out in Lincoln County in New Mexico (Just outside Ruidoso New Mexico) They have an annual festival around this time of year. It was the last place he escaped from. The old jail still has bullet holes from the shootout during his escape. An old family friend took us there years ago. She showed us the house her grandma grew up in out there. Looked like a shake. She said that her grandma had met to billy before his arrest. He was trying to hit on her lol. She was just a teenager herself. Also, out here near El Paso, Tx in a town called San Elizario, Tx is an old jail house. It’s known to be the only Jail Billy ever broke into lol. He went to help one of his buddies escape. Should check it out if you ever have the chance. So much history out there.
Hi guys! I had to pause the video because I didn't want to forget something that just came to me... A "Cigar shaped object" and now the "Tick Tac UFO's" same type of shape, just different eras...??? Just a thought.
Still me.... I'm like Scott, I would never think I would be there, but would enjoy it! I have always been fascinated with Roswell and watch anything I could come across on the subject. Would I want to visit, not particularly, no. Such an interesting vlog, Jordan, thank you!!! Papaw 🙏
@@DazewithJordantheLion just assuming. We will never know for sure. I just find stuff like that interesting. Maybe he did die by being shot or maybe he didn't. I just like history stuff like that

Thank you for shareing this
We understand and appreciate all your road trips you do for us. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have seen Route 66 at all 😊
I will never get to travel like you and I’m so thankful to watch your
Fun videos , thank you 😊
Its always a treat to see where you two will be each day and the tour you take us on. Im going to miss this when you guys finish up the trip. Your chemistry makes the vlog even better. Thanks for bringing us along.
So glad you are seeing extras along the way . Awesome
“That sounds alien to me.” 😅😅 Good one Scott. I got quite a few chuckles out of that. Perfect pun execution!
I lived in Roswell when I was a teenager (mid 80's). Fort Sumner is cool, for more Billy the Kid history check out Lincoln, NM

My only disappointment is, I'm not there. Thank you Jordan, these places are great to see.
I like the Billy the Kid detour and the cool alien things in Roswell. Cool video!

A lot of Sci-Fi Eggs there. Star Trek, Stargate et, al. I'm glad you showed some serious UFO bits.
I love every where you go, cause I get to see places I can’t in person. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤

Omg who would steal a tombstone that’s just creepy 😮
James deans has been stolen twice
The easy answer to that question is SCOTT
My college is not far from here! I went to ENMU in Portales, and they have a campus in Roswell!

Why did he get shot? That's sad 😢
👍
Did you. see it?? Scott smiled!!
You can't prove that
yea i dont thnk we know where he is buried or anything, i think a flood washed a lot of the graves away, or even if he was killed by pat garret,
But you don't know, so why are you doubting it if you can't prove it?
