I lived in Roswell for 20 years worked at the bus plant that took most the air base. Built greyhound bus and RTS Intercity. The UFO crash really happened. You got to live there meet several generations of people to get the real story. The bottomless lakes state park is cool.
My wife and I could not get out of there in less than four hours, read everything. Amazing place.
NM.. There's so much cool stuff to see in that state.. Up near the Colorado border is just amazing
THANK YOU RUSS for taking us to Roswell,NM! It's wonderful for those that can't get there!
That's funny, The street lamps are Alien heads LOL!
👍👍 Thanks. Roswell been in my go to visit list for 26 years now. Never had the chance. One of these days.
Roswell doesn't look anything like I thought. Looks very interesting.
We Love RVerTV.
Some cool history there Rush one day we're going to have to meet and talk about it I was born January 13th 1926 still kicking I was a guard at Los Alamos during 1942. 1946 stories I could tell you about the atomic energy commission the Manhattan Project love watch thank you so much for the Memories
That would be very interesting.
Even the street lights downtown have alien eyes! LOL!
Thanks Russ.. Hope you miss the hail storms in Texas and Okla
. my state.......
We Love RVerTV.
RUSS! You the man. I blasted right by area 51 last year (ok, 45 mph) missed all that nothing. I better put this one on my list though. Hope you didn't show everything 😄. 👍Roswell. Those folks are making an effort all right.
Good Video! THANKS for Sharing Russ!Stay Safe !
Hey Russ, I live 15 minutes from Kecksburg, PA., Which is called the Roswell of PA. The sighting happened in 1965. The tiny community has a UFO festival every year with speakers on all sorts of paranormal stuff, including Big Foot! And of course a gift shop ( I did buy a T-shirt). I love your channel. Happy Travels!!
Your festival has Bigfoot as a speaker every year? Far out!
P.T. Barnum stated " A fool is born every day and most of them live." These places thrive on fools money. Enjoy
Isn't Kecksburg in the Tuscarora Mountains?
Thanks for all your videos..... When I watch them.... it’s like going on vacation...Keep up the great videos.....
We went to Roswell on our way to Carlsbad Caverns. That is why that store was selling caving gear.
Roswell also has great art museum with lovely art inside and a whole area devoted to Robert Goddard, the rocket scientist. The Alien Conspiracy people are positive the Aliens came to Roswell to kidnap Goddard.
There is a strong art community there.
It's a lovely town.
I will be using your time off to watch your old videos. Take as much time that you need with your family and enjoy.
I always look forward to your giggle, it makes my day. Thank you.

“okay I believe!” (Roswell Museum)…you crack me up! I’ve spent the night many times in Roswell but never saw any REAL aliens or strange happenings! ~Jim~
Thank you for the video I had a great time . When I went back in 2020

Love it Russ!! Roswell is a neat small town America!
Thank you for time
That was out of this world! Thanks Russ!!
Rozewell is much bigger than I expected. Traffic was heavy on the main drag through it. Nice, clean, pretty town.👍👍
We Love RVerTV.
Yes it has been growing since I passed through in the '90's.
Thanks for sharing Russ
Russ, I am glad you stopped in. Now I don't have to. I'll read the book(s) and skip the movie(s). It looks like Roswell itself would be more interesting than the museum. Now that antique shop you passed, for instance...
Great video. Thanks.
Russ I don't think really know what is out there. But I am glad you enjoyed it.
always a good morning when you wake up to a RVerTV video
Watch out for Them Guys...thanks for the trip
I went to Roswell last summer with my kids drove all the way from GA it's actually a nice little town
We Love RVerTV/
Thanks for the video. Tripadvisor has close ups of all the wall exhibits. 1909 photos.
that’s cool i always wanted to see this town thanks russ
When the Honda Civic first arrived in the USA
I purchased one outright using cash. It took
me to Roswell from California. I arrived when
a parade of pimpled people drive their tricked-
up old cars up and down past the Courthouse.
I'd had my doors painted to look like the flag
of Japan. Those who followed me didn't quit
until I went east of the Pecos River. Yup, the
Honda Civic was their first encounter.
That was about the right amount of Roswell. Bet if you stay 2 to 3 streets away from the main strip, Roswell would be a nice small town.
Roswell is one of the most dangerous towns in USA per capita
Great.
Need to add some interviews with locals who had actually witnessed.
My beautiful home town, where I was born and raised until I was 18! ❤️
Btw, if you don’t read the information in the museum you haven’t really experienced it. It’s not about visuals, it’s about information. Come back sometime and do some research. There’s a lot of history here. Thanks for stopping by.
I love New Mexico! I guess the alien stuff is all part of "The land of Enchantment" logo about the state.
"Looks like a bad hairday for them huh..."
Hey, you blew right past Gort! I guess you’re not a sci-fi guy. May the force be with you.
Interesting!! on May the Fourth 😀
Thanks Russ 🚐🛸🛸
Thank you: That is too cool! I am going!
It does attract a surprising amount of tourists. I go through that down often and its really a joke to the locals. But people do come.
14:30-The next time you go to Sturgis you need to make a trip over to Devil’s Tower where they filmed the movie Close Encounters.
Wow, I will be out that way soon!
Awesome! Been through those areas a time or two. Thank you Russ💖
I just looked in your store for the fridge & freezer - do you have those on there somewhere & I'm just missing? Thx
Thats funny when I was in Roswell I thought the courthouse was the coolest thing there...lol
I am glad you stopped there.
That would suck to travel to cool places and don’t have anyone to share your time and to make great memories with!
I only visit NM from the west coast to discover and explore karst.
Yes, the Bottomless Lakes State Park outside Roswell, might school
interested readers. Not to mention the NM ;pumps that gushed out
Troglodytes. From a water table Roswell may yet share with them.
I’m a crazy souvenir shopper, I would have been in every store buying things I don’t really need. 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for keeping the videos coming, we really enjoy them.
Not going on the Bucket list. To much hype. I would stop only if it was on my way to some where neat but Thanks Russ for showing it.
Make sure you visit the Spacewalk on 2nd street on your next visit
It great we always dare to imagine what is, Roswell is on the vanguard of these stories, facts just need to try and keep up.
Air Force Dad was stationed there once upon a time in 1949.
That was a great place who knows 👽 thanks for stopping
Thank you Russ, You never disappoint. Fantastic Videos :)
So many trees!
Don't bring that wind with you, perfect day in southeast Oklahoma.
Nice Russ
We Love RVerTV.
Yee haa welcome to Texas! Thanks for the look around Roswell.
Thanks for taking us there!
Last time I was in Roswell , beanie babies were popular.
Mulder, it's me...
Eat with the aliens🛸👽
Roswell is a cool place to visit.
Hey, I live there!
Another medium rare town, no wait,... it’s well done!
UFO in the opener 😆 🤣 😂
I wonder what this town would look like if the UFO incident had not occurred. And those people who remembered being probed at sometime or another may be confusing their visit to their proctologist. After all, they do sedate you and, well, you know.
We were glad we stopped there a few years ago, after the caverns👍🏻
The museum is the old Roswell movie theater. I use to go to the movies back in the late 60's . I went to NMMI so had to walk all the way from school to the theater. Old Times flash back. Thanks
My wife went to NMMI in the late 90s and when I saw it for the first time a few years ago, she said nothing was the same. Place has everything now but mostly a tourist trap
All the buildings are exactly the same, downtown. Just the names all changed.
Yay
Bravo.
WOW..!!! That's the cleanest, neatest, well maintained and safest looking city/town in NM I have ever seen..!! I think I'm on another planet.. LOL! Considering what is flying around unidentified, that museum is 'right on'...
Roswell is also home of New Mexico Military Institute. ( a mini West Point Academy)
My home town
I loved seeing the alien themes in the shops.
remember to check rear view mirror real well
“ The truth is out there agent Spender”.
You don't want to be at "room temperature"!
🙋♀️ Hello Russ! Enjoyed seeing Roswell. Interesting. I hope you get to enjoy your few days & spending time with your family. 👍
Hey Russ!!! "Don't" get to "FAR" from "THE BEAST" They may "BEAM" You "UP"!!! Be Safe!!!
Virginia Beach let’s go
👍👍😊
Watch out for those Aliens
I love all the small towns who have the historical court houses !! Thx for the video
Pretty neat small town. That's a nicely done museum. Fun stop over. 😊👍
Believe or not, something happened in Roswell. Maybe one of these days we will be told what.
Little bit of trivia for you. While the 579th Strategic Missile Squadron didn't have anything to do with aliens, it had much to do with Roswell and Walker AFB (former Roswell Army Airfield). The 579th, headquartered at Walker, consisted of 12 Atlas Missile silos dispersed around Roswell. Coming into Roswell on US-70/380, you passed by two of them. Leaving Roswell on US-380, you passed by two more. All four are approximately 1,000 feet off the north side of the highway. The Wikipedia article on "579th Strategic Missile Squadron" has a map of all twelve locations, plus Lat/Lon for each. If you try to visit one, better wear a bulletproof vest, they are all under private ownership, now.
Did you get out to the crash site? How about the street lights looking like an alien head! 🤣
Imagine visiting UMW in California,,, LOL
I want to go to roswell
Thanks for the tour. Roswell didn't look anything like I expected. It's much bigger , I thought it would be a smaller town .
Same for me. I don’t know why but I’ve always assumed it was a small town.
The thing on the 579th Missile Sq is probably because they were stationed out of Walker AFB (the former Roswell Army Air Field). They had 6 Atlas F missiles in silos
