You're such fun, THANK YOU FOR TAKING US WITH YOU! I don't like driving anymore, im an old 67 year old lady from L.A. Your trips mean a lot to me. "Yay"!
I can't keep my eyes off my big screen samsung tv. The pictures are just amazing, it's like I am there watching. Being disabled and 73 this is such a blessing that God has opened up my eyes to our beautiful country.
I did the Route 66 From Barstow to Seligman took the I-40 back to Laughlin, Nv. Absolutely One of The Greatest thing I ever saw. Route 66 after Kingman to Williams. Is a Movie. For sure it's a Western.
Hey man enjoy your videos. I live and farm just east of Amarillo, TX along old Route 66. If you do a trip down old 66 give me a shout, I will show you the real old 66 when it was dirt road before being paved. There is a mile long run on our family land.
Thanks for visiting La Posada. The museum is new. There are more paintings upstairs. Free to see. Rooms are old school. We visited a few times over the years. The Turquoise Room is relatively expensive but worth it. I’m glad that you showed there’s more to do than stand on the corner.
everyone did & does Rt 66........................ do Back roads cross country... like San Fran to Maine or DC or Carolina coast ? Keep up the Great Work ! it is only getting better from what I have seen.... We need more Buggie trips too !
God Bless , United States America , Russ , RVerTV Fans. Happy Independence Day - U.S.A. Happy Trails - U.S.A. - Russ - RVerTV Fans. WE LOVE RVerTV - BEST TV On RUclips. Thank you Russ.🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
Thank you for the excellent video tour! We did the Route 66 road trip in 2018 and stayed at the La Posada. What a fabulous place. You really should stay sometime. The rooms are each named after a different celebrity who stayed there. We were in the Shirley Temple room, across from John Wayne. The rooms are beautiful and rustic, decorated in old Mexico style. This is truly a gem. Hoping to do it again in 2024! (Note: For older or handicapped folks, there are no elevators, so you have to climb the round staircase with your luggage. Not sure if there are any rooms downstairs. Aside from that, never stayed at a more historic, eclectic hotel!)
Traveled through this area 40 years ago on a motorcycle. Temperature was in the 80's. Nice to see what I missed. The longer videos are nice. Get some rest and continue the journey. Looking forward to traveling with you this year. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
Hi Russ, really glad you decided to film the start of the road trip. The new format is awesome, especially the 360 camera. Looking forward to the rest of the adventure. Will be back in the U.S. Shortly for a adventure of my own.Stay safe.🇬🇧
Excellent video Russ. I love both the rear view and 360 cameras. I love the Eagles. Glenn Frey is from Royal Oak, Michigan - a suburb of Detroit and only a few miles from my home city of Oak Park. I love the Ford pickup, my grandfather had a truck like that.
Thanks Russ. I take care of my mom, and I truly ENJOY your videos daily! RV ing is something that I’ve always wanted to do, but yours are the next best thing to doing it! Safe travels to you😊
Great video as always Russ! Love the new cameras! So much cool stuff in Winslow! Who Knew? Thanks for bringing us up to speed! I'm getting excited for this trip! Good health and safe travels Man!
love the back camera angle. we drove cross country every summer in the 60's and 70's... in a 60 something ford station wagon. Sometimes that is the only view my brother and i had since we thought we were cool riding backwards LOL
I cant tell you how much I love these videos. Ive mentioned before I drove cross country for UPS. We ran LA to Greensboro NC, so I-40 all the way. We ran it there and back in four days. It brings back so many good memories just showing you running down the road. Our first driver switch point was Winslow but I never got to see the statues, the truck is just too big to take down there. I finally got to see it after I retired and did a road trip. So your videos show all the things I missed over the years. I think it's time for another road trip!
Love that place Russ. Was staying in Sedona and done this place fascinating all the stuff on show . And eat at Restaurant. Great trip. Thanks for the memory.👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Takes me down memory lane, Russ. I interviewed to become Airport Manager of Winslow (they offered me Director of Finance instead). I was hoping you would have included City Hall in your presentation and captured an Amtrak arrival/departure from the Winslow train platform (or other historic railroad infrastructure since the town's history is so rooted in that industry).
“Well I was standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona….” 😊 Started singing it the minute you turned off for Winslow! Great videos! We’re loving them! Thank you Russ! Your camera views rock! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really cool additions to your hand held cameras and with the addition of the camera in back of the van. The 360 camera is very, very cool. The difference between the GoPro and the 360 really shows up when you visited Winslow. I am in awe of the La Posada Hotel. Thanks for including us with your travels. Stay safe and keep cool.
I've taken the Amtrak Southwest Chief from Chicago to Winslow just to stand on that corner. Hopped back on the train the next day and went to flagstaff for a trip to the Grand Canyon. Long distance train travel is so awesome!
Hi, I am sight seeing in AZ because of ur videos. Thank u for all ur hard work. That 36 view is something on ur new camera. 👍🏾 Im headi g to Winslow now. 🙏🏽
New camera views are very nice and clear. I stayed at La Posada before but I've learned more about it from your video. Thanks for making these videos about Route 66.
Hope you get a sponsor for snacks on this epic journey! I can remember red dye on pistachios (shells)… think nowadays those are probably in a museum of its own … or in a bunker!
Thanks Russ. We visited that hotel in summer of 2021. Leaving Ohio 2nd week of August heading west for about 8 weeks on our way to our winter home on Florida. Maybe our paths will cross. Enjoy the journey. 👍🙏😢
Great beginning to your 2023 summer tour! Question for you Russ, is the rest area on I-40 that you captured in the drone shot (12:20) new? I don't recall seeing a rest area there before. But I have been known to fly past stuff everyone else saw LOL! Thanks.
Good trip today. I would have like to seen the pottery better, my husband and I worked in a pottery in Newel , WV, Homer Laughlin China Company. By the way we enjoy your videos, I am 70, and my husband is 74 . Happy safe travels.
Interesting as always Russ, thanks.
You are very welcome

That camera is great. Has a little focus shake because it focuses so fast, but it is crystal clear. Great video as always.
