@@JA-dh7gk Probably is nice to have something that one of the greatest in all time don't have, that's the biggest achievement actually for Grigor and ATP 1000 Cincinnati.
I agree to an extent. He uses his slice which is amazing to set up his down the line forehand. Slice deep and to the corner, pull his opponent off the court then a forehand down the line. When he's on his game, it works perfectly.
@@brownie43212I believe the best is yet to come from Grigor. Even at 32 he is super fit and agile like antelope. Jamie Delgardo somehow managed to raise his confidence level and made him believe he could win those big matches. Grigor is much stronger mentally and this is clear in his last matches. He also has much more power as he gained more muscle weight. I believe around 6 kg and this was also part of Jamie’s plan. Certainly exciting times ahead. Grigor deserves to be in the Top 5.
Really happy to see Dimitrov so focussed and hungry on court again. Hope this gives him extra confidence for next season. Always played well in Australia in the past.
Sad for Tsitsipas - he had a good tournament; the fire is still there, and we are here for it. But happy for Dimitrov - I'd like to see him win a Slam - whether Aussie or SW19. Beautiful athletic tennis from both.
Dimitrov's mind is at its sharpest - the last few passing shots show he is great at identifying his own bad shots, and the narrow windows of opportunities that come when opponents inevitably take an aggressive position
Dimitrov always had the talent. When he showed up, i thought he could be the new roger federer based on his style and skills. his mind is stronger now with age. He is playing on another level. Impressive.
Dimitrov is that classic oldschool type of player that we just dont see anymore. this is what he can do when on top of his game.. smooth real classic beautiful to watch shots. and the way he goes about himself just a top bloke. what a ripper final it should be 🔥😎
I'm a Stef fan and wanted him to win but I am happy for Dimitrov it clearly was a more important win for him. It's been a while since I see him bring in such a consistent performance with very few errors. I hope he wins this.
Probably here best tie break I've ever seen Dimitrov play, that 3rd set tiebreak - unbelievable winners from everywhere that took it out of Tsitsipas hands. Court positioning in 4:26 point is completely Fed like, the kind of aggressive inside the court tennis he needs to play, and that only comes with confidence. Very few players can pull this off, and he's one of them. Hope he wins the final but regardless what a tournament he's had!
Part of it is end of the year fatigue eliminating some good players. In this case though, Dimitrov has just been on fire. Anyone who watched him back in 2017 knew he was capable of this though!
Dimitrovs backhand in this match was absolutely unbelievable. Constantly hitting the sweet spot, no rush in his motion, always leaning on the ball, matching pace... Poetry in motion today. Bravo Grigor🎉
The fact that people forget that Dimitrov held the #3 spot and won a master's tournament in a time where Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, and Murray were ALL in the mix and at the top of the game can NOT be understated. Anytime Dimitrov is on and his body is willing, he's going to be a nightmare for ALL of the younger guys. Simply because he's played many many times against players who could do everything THEY can do BETTER than they can. And he's got the knowledge/experience of beating THOSE players. And if he could figure ways to beat the big 4 during their reign, he can definitely find a way to beat these guys just a few years later.
Djokovic vs Dimitrov at his best form will be a final to not miss! Not gonna lie, gonna be rooting for Dimitrov!! He’s put in so much work and deserves this
Dimitrov has always been a great talent and he's also a very nice guy, a class act. He's easy to cheer for and tennis is always uplifted when he's playing well.

Both Grigor and Stefanos have been playing aggressive tennis this week, but i feel the difference is Grigor has more variety in his backhand and he plays the net better too. Grigor still has his mental yips, but i would love to see him qun this.
