      Jamie Delgardo somehow managed to raise his confidence level and made him believe he could win those big matches. Grigor is much stronger mentally and this is clear in his last matches. He also has much more power as he gained more muscle weight. I believe around 6 kg and this was also part of Jamie’s plan.

Anytime Dimitrov is on and his body is willing, he's going to be a nightmare for ALL of the younger guys. Simply because he's played many many times against players who could do everything THEY can do BETTER than they can. And he's got the knowledge/experience of beating THOSE players. And if he could figure ways to beat the big 4 during their reign, he can definitely find a way to beat these guys just a few years later.

    Beautiful tennis from both players but especially from GD!!!! He's been playing really well the second half this year!!! His form is second best to THE GREAT ONE (FED) and just as wonderful to watch!!! Can there be a AO slam in the future!!!??? Hope so!!!
    Great to see two players with one handed backhands!!! Always a pleasure to watch!!!

    So good to see Grigor playing consistently well. So deserves to lift the title. Both players were playing lights out tennis with a style of one handed backhands you don't see enough of these days and going after their shots.

    I love Dimitrov's style - he doesn't hit the ball hard most of the time (comparatively) and he doesn't hit the most spin but he gets to a lot of balls and his placement is extraordinary.

    • @gabrielametodieva8360
      @gabrielametodieva8360 Год назад

      Do you mean hard as in speed? Because they showed the stats at the end of the match and the average speed of his FH and BH was faster than Tsitsipas. Also the commentators said that he hits the topspin BH harder than anyone on tour (one hand or two hands). I don’t know why people think he doesn’t hit hard, his opponents always say he’s one of the harder hitters. Maybe because he doesn’t grunt?

    As someone who have played that game on a semi-professional level for almost 11 years - the way these guys return services is simply astonishing. The level of tennis within the top 100 is simply astonishing for a person as me who did that for so many years and I considered myself good at it, having won multiple matches and tournaments. I have trained all my life and was considered quite talented, yet the level here is simply from another planet.
    Not sure this can be understood from a non-player, the level of these guys is simply immense.

    DIMITROV takes the ball more early than before and the backhand and forehand is more brutal than before that make a huge différence..now i think he can be more consistant to beat everybody everywhere..such à nice technic to see since Federer ✌️✌️🙏
