From the perspective of a long term viewer of yours, you’re bridging the gap of the RUclips community to the superstars of tennis. From watching your what’s in my bag videos with Lucian to your casual convos with world famous players like Tsitsipas, it makes those top players feel more relatable and not just someone you only see on tv.
@@WinstonDuWinston my junior brother wants to play you, UTR 8.9 15 year old. He’s a lefty Nadal wanna be, would be a good match. I think you got him, but he watches all your videos and is confident.
I had no idea he was such a chilled out and cool guy - not many pros would try to help you improve your game after a hit with some advice - respect to him and defo a new fan of his 👍
That's common at his level. Same happens at the lower levels... I can go head to head vs 5.0 players rallying but I'm not even close to beating them in a match.
Come on, Felix would be a nobody in the tennis world without his RUclips clout and fanbase. Only reason these top players hit with him is that they see it as a PR opportunity. They would never hit with him if he didn't have his YT channel.
@@Stu49583 Oh definitely. I was referring to the ability of going toe to toe during rallies. As far as getting the play these people like nothing... Correct, he'd not be doing this without the channel.
Awesome video. He obviously appreciated the questions, and that you knew various things about his past, he really lit up when you mentioned his channel.
Stef is actually a very chill guy, ngl… He is very talkative and likes to have conversations doesn’t matter if he knows the person or not. A true philosopher indeed😂
Another awesome vid! I think thinks it's cool you just scored some points against Stefanos. He's one of those players that on a good day can beat anybody.
Man....that's crazzzyyyyy!! Playing against tsitsipas and having good time with him....watching the tv, I comment that his backhand is a weakness, but dudeeeee.....that backhand is fire!
I'm not one to talk, none of us are, but you can clearly see it is a much weaker shot. He used to be able to finish with it, but nowadays it's at best a hail mary save, a slice or a set up for his monster forehand
Tbf it is a weakness. He missed two backhand returns here, one off a second serve, which shouldn’t happen much with this kind of talent disparity. Of course, it’s fast indoor hard and Stef was just playing for practice, but still that does show it’s a weakness especially when he’s going up against guys who serve and move much faster.
Felix, ive been watching you for like 1,2 years? Youve come really far and your backand is so much better than before amd your serve. Your journey fascinates me. Youve won an itf title, your facing BIG players like hugo hubert and even STEFANOS TSTIPAS!? The journey is not over.
What an amazing session! As a greek a love Tsitsi hope he does better next year ! keep on going bro you have made an amazing effort and you deserve to be in the top 100 to show us ordinary people how is it on the tour 😊
I'm sure Stef knows Nadal's achievements in doubles when Tsitsipas was really young but let's be honest, Rafa has not really played much doubles for the last several years until Bstaad & the Olympics in 2024 & of course a bit at Laver Cup 2022 & 2017 with Roger & LC 2019 with Stefanos.
Debatable, i think roger is better due to his volleying in doubles....and both have gold in doubles for their respective countries, its just that nadal has played more doubles tournaments
@@iceoj4980Nadal is nearly as good a volleyer as Federer, and has higher doubles IQ from observation. Also places passing shots very well as we all know which is an underrated skill doubles. Federer chips a lot of returns in singles which will get you in trouble in doubles.
ATP is probably the best international sports body these days. They really have their stuff together in terms of media. Which means: you're in their eye of sight and that's a great honor. Tsitsipas looked like he connected to you, maybe he'd like to be a youtuber rather than a top ATP player ;)
would be cool to see him do kinda what Simon Freund did, and make videos on tournaments, considering he plays in bigger tournaments. Maybe that way we can get some decent highlights from RG and Wimbledon haha
These videos show just how good you have to be to play professionally let alone top 50. Insane to see just how tough it is to be in the top 10 and even crazier with what Nadal, Djokovic, and Federer did.
Felix be like: “Next week I play a Roger Federer in a best of 5 sets match at centre court in Wimbledon, let’s see what I got” Hope you’re pinching urself because younger you would be dreaming of these days :)
It often looks like your ball goes out but it gets called in. You should know, play to the opponents call, not what you think! You did really well against him. Would have been interesting at 5-5 to see what would have happened. Never know, you might meet him on the tour in a year or two 🤞🏼
Felix, ask some advice from these top ATP players that are you playing practice sessions with them. If you can hit competitive points with them you should be better then your. current ranking.
It’s good to see these top players giving Felix a chance in these matches to make it more interesting to watch! In reality, they wouldn’t be dropping a single game in a real match so nice to see them being humble!
Prime Federer lost a set to the japanese guy from Sutateni Academy when he was around #1000, so it’s definitely possible that they lose a game, who knows.
I have a feeling your RUclips numbers are exploding with this type of content, it's very cool you're securing matches with top players. Just don't take your foot off the gas in your pro career!

Tsitsipas made an excellent point about the return of serve. Going forward, that's a HUGE area that you could improve with extra focus/work.
Just simple information like that can be a goldmine. Esp from his perspective, he knows exactly what kind of returns are needed at his level
Yup, play without fear. He knows he should be aggressive, but he was afraid. Don't let fear stop you from playing right way!
I mean.... I don't really think that is rocket science or some unknown thing. It's just that executing that against that level is different.
Stef could definitely improve his backhand serve return . Very weak part of his game
