Many tennisfans were always bashing Murray for his moodiness on court and sometimes passive tennis, but stories like this one from the lockerroom are so nice to hear and makes you understand why he was so well respected and loved by his peers. (he had a great relationship with the big 3, whereas they had much more tense relationships between them, especially Nole vs Rafa and Nole vs Roger)

@@ChessboyJohnny An old school friend of mine worked at the 2012 Olympics (iirc, his job involved walking tennis players to the practise courts etc). He'd never been a Murray fan but came away raving about him.

Ive noticed how you play a lot better when you're more relaxed. Im sure going into these matches with players like thanasai and musetti the mindset would just be to go all out and not hold back considering how this is a learning experience for you. When your playing a futures tourny you at times change the aggressive nature of your game all i wanna say is maybe try playing like this in a professional match too. (Btw im aware of the fact that youre definitely aware of this too but just a word of advice on my end ). Keep up the good work mate i see a lot of potential. i myself am working on my game right now maybe we'll meet each other at a tournament some day!

I'm not sure I've seen a person on RUclips consistently hitting as big a ball as Kokkinakis. Every shot was an absolute missile. Felix tracking them down and just getting them back was amazing. Of course, Kokkinakis' hit tolerance had its limits, but just wow.

Hello Felix! I've been watching your progress for about 2 years now & you've definitely have improved a lot. You're a big reason why I come back to tennis when life isn't as busy. I'm also a huge fan of Kokkinakis! We're around the same age so in my High school days I would watch his matches when he was a junior & when he transitioned to full time pro. I would love to win one of his signed balls! But if not thank you for reading my comment & keep grinding bro!

I’ve been a huge fan of Kokki for a while now - I love his fighting spirit and all his fantastic comebacks, especially the one at Wimbledon against Auger. It’s a shame he struggles a lot with his injuries. If it wasn’t for his injuries he’d be a top 10 player no doubt.

Was a ball boy for kokk at rg2023 in his 3rd round match against Khachanov, I’ve seen some of the best players ever up close (Rafa, Novak, sinner, Alcaraz and more) and I think he might have impressed me the most, both in his offhandish attitude as well as his amazing shot quality
