    I never understood why Kokkinakis could not rise above the top 60 of the rating. One of the most undisclosed players on the tour at the moment. It's good that at least AO won in a couple.

      Injury, consistency, and shot selection… I don’t know much about Kokkinakis but I think it’s either one of them (def. injury in his crucial years of developing, not sure his problem now).

      He's not the strongest mentally, not very consistent. Doesn't defend very well and needs a lot of time to set up a good forehand (which he certainly has)

    Alcaraz and Sinner are so exciting to watch . Their level is unbelievable. So much higher than Fed .They play so physically and with ridiculous talent. They can defend , return serve like Djokovic and attack like Federer . They can even play all the spins and pass like Nadal. It’s simply crazy how good they are . Djokovic is by far the GOAT , but for how long ?

    This is even worse that Djokovic v. Nardi IW 2024.
    But, can we draw a parallel to Novak 2024 season and Roger 2018? Age-wise?
    Would this indicate a resurrection 2025 season for Novak, like Roger's 2019?
    Time will tell.......

    • @Luckyluckyluc
      @Luckyluckyluc 9 месяцев назад +1

      Actually pretty similar. At Indian Wells Roger lost to Del Potro in the final, a top player of the time, like Djokovic lost to Sinner at AO this year. Those matches took away confidence resulting in the losses just one tournament later to a much weaker opponent..!

    • @Karen_McAlllister
      @Karen_McAlllister 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@Luckyluckyluc But Roger came back in 2019 winning 4 titles including Miami Masters. Almost winning Wimbledon (was the better player as confirmed by Novak also)....
      This implies that if Novak finds his motivation again and is injury free, he should win 2-3 more titles this year and 4-5 next year.
      I'd go with a bold prediction he'll win at least 1 x Slam, 2 x Masters 1000 and perhaps retire by winning his last title at the Tour Finals (the fastest hard court).
