It feels like Kokkinakis was so hyped to play with Nick and play over his level because Nick gave him confidence with no pressure. I also think Kokkinakis want more this slam for Nick than Nick for himaelf. Amazing duo. Happy for both of them. They deserve it
Just love the energy they gave to each other and the crowd, the incredible power and accuracy of their shots time and again under pressure and the heart on sleeve emotion…one of the best if not the best mens doubles matches (in terms of viewing pleasure) I’ve ever seen on a court.
You know, always when I stumble upon these 2 playin together, it reminds me that while people may don't have a good opinion of you, having a friend at your side can boost you.
kyrgios looks like he's having so much fun here, I'm glad for him. honestly, I don't know why singles is more popular than doubles, this stuff is entertaining as hell.
When i watch tennis, i only like the singles matches until the two ks did doubles, they made the doubles more interesting nowadays! The excitement and entertainment they brought in
As an Aussie, I loved watching Kyrgios and Kokkinakis play but am I hearing things or is Nick yelling stuff out in the middle of points? Is that allowed?
anyone can explain why they were booed that much? did they do something? or is it just "kyrgios = controversial so let's boo him bc we want the other ones to win"?
They were saying "Sui" it's a Cristinao Ronaldo celebration that became popular amongst young people in 2022. It's used as a "let's go!" for Kyrgios and Kokkinakis. It's meant to be a positive thing.
@@ineedhelpplw3710 oh wow, it totally sounded like a boo! I'm a Juve supporter, we know Cristiano celebration pretty well :D Thank you for the clarification!
@@hubaiiiii Yeah, cause that's what his goal has always been. I mean a 43 year old won the doubles this year, so Kyrgios still has 15 years left on the doubles circuit.
At least he did something to discover his talent: followed a passion and worked hard enough to compete at a high professional (not the best, but with the best). Whatever he wants to do with that talent, it's his decision. He always said he wasn't cut out for the day in day out training and wanted to enjoy life his way rather than commit to constant discipline. So, it's his choice, no waste for him, let alone you! Btw, ATP website says he got something....$12.5 million dollars... you must be a billionaire if it's nothing to you !😂

With Nick's attitude, he deserved to get dropped long ago.
I agree and this run 'I feel really inspired Nick he made the finals of Wimbeldon and then the semis of the us open....it was like he wanted it more
Quarters of US, but stull
Every 4 years, we see a leap year and Nick making an effort!
@@noahsatir2762 My bad for some reason I thought he beat Medvedev in the quarters but I was wrong...
Just the energy of it ..Doubles is just about energy .. it’s sad to know we won’t ever see them playing together again.. it was just once
Why wouldnt we see them play together mate? they would have played in ao as well if kyrgios was fit admitted by thanasi himself. go look it up
Fingers crossed for next year :)
In a few years when they're done with singles I can see them playing doubles together more often. If they want to continue playing tennis that is.
Really hoping they make it next year mate. i will watch them from stands.@@thetenniszone123
nick is coming back

Nick serve and kokkinakis forehand were on fire these two weeks in australia❤️🔥
The energy from the crowd is insane. Nick looks so chill in this run, this is probably his best year
I love the way kokki hits forehand!
I don't like the kokk he was playing with!
You don't know what you mean kyrgios is a total GOAT🐐
This run made me SO happy for both. ❤❤❤
This run was too good and too funny to follow everyday,AMAZING
You know, always when I stumble upon these 2 playin together, it reminds me that while people may don't have a good opinion of you, having a friend at your side can boost you.
They added a different dimension to what tennis also can be. Every point had you on the edge of your seat!
Both of them greek-australians and super talented especially Nick. Kokkinakis forehand reminds me of del potro.
Del potro had a very short swing but managed to generate enormous power which always astounded me
Technically these forehands are VERY different. Eastern Grip vs Full Western!
An all Australian men's doubles final there's nothing better
kyrgios looks like he's having so much fun here, I'm glad for him. honestly, I don't know why singles is more popular than doubles, this stuff is entertaining as hell.
BEST DUO WITHOUT A DOUBT
Absolut miracle run
I Was smiling for the hole video❤
Kokkinakis has an absolute cannon for a forehand
I love the celebration after the semi final win
Great example of « The whole is greater than the sum of the parts ». So much energy between the 2 of them in doubles
Très bon point
Merci infiniment.
Super! Very emotional editing!
Ngl that year, every australian won, having 4 australians playing in the final ❤️. Kokkinakis and kyrgios played well
When i watch tennis, i only like the singles matches until the two ks did doubles, they made the doubles more interesting nowadays! The excitement and entertainment they brought in
Highlight making duo!
Kokkinakis forehand was a bullet
Very great point. 😮 The battle of the Australians themselves?? 😮😊
That Kokkinakis Forehand was on fire!
That dude in light blue in the semis had some absolute fire gets
The best entertainer
que dupla mamaaaaaaaaa
The most watched doubles pair in history.
Kokkinakis and Kyrgios... the greek-australian version of The Beauty and the Beast.
This is next level 🎉 amazing duo
Nick's dropped many levels since
Nick Kyrgious is a great partner, he doesnt even try :D
They gotta do a 3 peat of this in the future
@6:35 that was fucking crazy
nothing better than two greek men representing the australian team lol
As an Aussie, I loved watching Kyrgios and Kokkinakis play but am I hearing things or is Nick yelling stuff out in the middle of points? Is that allowed?
めちゃ良い
Is that what you called “Brothermance”?😂
Why was the crowd hype every game except the final 😂?
I just remember Venus being a absolute toss after losing
they should just come out already. along with mannarino and ruud.
When you have absolutely no content except for one week each year
And they do pretty well considering
"Australian Open, this is the third time you've shown the class Kyrgios and Kokkinakis' doubles run."
Why the public whistled? 😂😂
They didnt they were doing suisss
The WhoLE crowd Were australians, so naturally they would cheer for Nick and Kokkinakis
@@Pedrito_Tennis Yea ofc I just told him they werent booing

Probably because all 4 finalists were Aussies?
Nick can retire with one middling win! Good for him
How many “middling” wins do you have?
And then got wrecked in the ATP finals tournament 😂
they did won a match and it was very good for a non-regular doubles team
bro who gaf about a non-grand slam tournament. noone watches anything but grand slams
good players, good clowns
P4p duo the Australian open
wait kokkinakis kinda carried
Xd
