@@mskcrcone of the most exciting Wimbledon matches I've seen. I was drunk on that Saturday watching this and laughing so hard. People who don't even watch tennis, at bars and stuff, were saying "what the heck is going in here?? What's wrong with this guy?" LOL
It's so ridiculous how they removed every piece of controversy in these highlights. They didn't even show the handshake pretending as though it was a perfectly normal match. 😂
I was on court one for this and honestly the atmosphere was AMAZING! After that ball into the crowd no one wanted Stefanos to win! Completely changed the game and Nick won a new fan for life in me!
Honestly one of my favorite matches of 2022 some good tennis and I know some don’t like the shenanigans and drama but I loved it. Defintely a match that will divide opinion
I don’t know anybody who is passionate about tennis who doesn’t admit that they could watch Kyrgios play the game all day. Poetry in motion, violence in rhetoric. The most talented player of his generation, and the most tormented genius on the tour.
I love kyrgios, one of my favorite players to watch. He's incredibly talented but he could be doing so much more with that talent. I get that it really seems like he just doesn't want it more than other people, which is understandable because of the amount of money he's making, but it is a bit of a shame that he's not achieving more. I really hope to see him perform like he did last wimbledon in the future.
Must've watched this 100 times , such a good match👍🏻 so glad Nick won ❤❤ it's a great shame 2023 is down the toilet for him 😢 fingers crossed for 2024 ?
Watching the in-match tension and Kyrgios's extra provocation efforts is incredibly enjoyable. Whenever I'm bored, I keep coming back to watch this highlight 😁
If he had been, it would have been a good lesson to him. Unfortunately he learned nothing from this match and still goes on about believing that Nick is a "bully".
I really hope so , it's been a long time since I've been this invested in a tennis player . I know he can do it 😊 maybe don't have his girlfriend in his box , she's a hindrance❗️
Doesn’t look like he’ll be able to repeat this form at Wimbledon 2023, hopefully I’m wrong. What a serve, and what a returned Nick has 😮. Where I’m from the call this “Could have, should have, and would have; if,”
Could be a hot take here but matches like this are kinda what tennis needs atm, puts a lot of eyes on the sport and could interest people that maybe wouldn’t be interested otherwise, but honestly this could just be said for players like Nick too
So many squares complain about Nick Kyrgios disrupting the flow of the game by talking to the umpire and consider tweener serves semi-cheating. Mental game, when its being done carefully (i.e. at the bordeline of legitimacy) is NOT an easy feat to accomplice, especially under such huge pressure that a grand slam match exerts on a player. So Nick kept his composure here and played Stefanos like a violin. That is, apart from playing some great tennis as well. Kudos to Nick, he deserved 100% this victory and more so for bringing out the worst side of Stefanos I have ever seen. I'm a Greek fan of tennis, I crave that a Greek player will someday reach the top, but Stefanos makes me hide my face in shame trying to outright send Kyrgios to the hospital with a black eye.
never won a grand slam and made only 3 quarter finals in his entire career. A wildly overrated clown loved by similar clowns in real life. That is Kyrgios and his fangirl club of dolts. LOL
If Tsispas can get his confidance back - back to the level he showed at the 2022 French open - he can, along with Alceraz - break the big two stranglehold on majors
2:20, 2:31 - love the underarm serves, but have never seen a clearer foot fault. wtf?? what does that line umpire do on a center court in wimbledon?? also, like "YIL-ji2sl" wrote, ALL the funny stuff has been removed , but why?? the match was so freaking hilarious. oh yeah, i see, the scoreboard which Stefanos fired at (while having aimed for Nick's head) is holy in wimbledon.
Tsitsipas made that body shot and did not excuse himself... after that, Kyrgios went on provoking him and he kind of snapped. Tsitsipas was playing his best tennis before that. Sometimes the best way to get into a bully head is being a bigger bully.
I'm so glad kyrgios will never win a slam he does all these theatrical things and pretends he doesn't care yet he only hits underarm serves at 40-0 and cries about the umpires and crowd whenever he's losing. Heres to hoping he never recovers from his surgery ❤
Tsitzipas made me like kyrigos lol. Did thought that’s ever gone happen^^ But to see the positive sides, tsitzipas plays beautifully and doesn’t look that bad, just everything human about him is kinda unsympathetic
Why did they call game for kyrgios in game 10 first set to make it 5-5? it was 30-0 and he hits an ace and they call game instead of going to 40-0. Unless scoreboard just didn’t update before his ace?
One of the most chaotic matches I've ever seen live on TV 😂
These highlights don’t do it justice
It was awesome

Kyrgios doing the "big balls" motion throughout Wimbledon is timeless
Sam Cassell the NBA player who created that taunt/dance was somewhere smiling watching this..

this and the match against meddy at USO 2022
@@rajlol16 that tiebreak got me nervous
I'd say against Federer 2015 was his best match.... It has been downhill from there.
Not even close. His near complete demolition of Rublev was far superior.
I think he was great at Acapulco too. Beat all the top players!
