I love these so much! I've only been crocheting for a few months and doubted whether I'm up to a new skill, but you've made me fall in love with filet crochet and I look forward to the next 10 months! It's not perfect, but I'm so proud of my snowflake from January.
I have only just come across this CAL. ❤ I want to do this. But I will save the videos for each month and begin when I have finished all the WIPs I have - already have 3 afghan/throw/blankets WIPs as well as 4 other projects! 😀
I love this idea of filet crochet. I am really having a hard time with last month's design. You took us through a few rows and I simply cannot read the graph. I'm sure I will be lost again this month. 😔 is there any way you could show us the entire pattern? I know it would be a lot of work, so, if not I completely understand. I hope it didn't hurt to ask!! Hi was able to master January and the February square it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be but if we wanted to make this in panels instead of individual squares how many chains would we have to start with like for 3squares
Hi! If you wanted to make this into a horizontal panel, you would multiple the number of blocks (15) or the number of chains in that first square (46) by the number of total repeats you want for your panel. So if you wanted 3 repeats, multiple by 3, if you want 4, multiple by 4, etc. Then add an extra 2 chains at the end and dc into the 4th ch away from the hook. (I haven't tried this so you may need to work with the numbers a bit to get a panel that works!)

I would love to work up the entire pattern but I'm afraid it would be a very long video! I will try this for the March pattern and see how it goes!

Is it chain 2 at the end or chain 3
I used 2 chains at the end of the foundation chain and then worked a dc back into the 4th chain from hook.
p.s. I LOVE this idea. I might try to work something up for those than want panels instead of individual squares.
