  • Welcome to the 2024 CAL Calendar blanket! January's graph is a simple snowflake!
Pattern available on ETSY and comes with the written pattern and the graph!
    shopsmores.etsy.com/listing/1...
This year we are going to work 12 different graphs (one representing each month) in filet crochet. You can turn these into a nice blanket at the end of the year, or, if you prefer, you can use them individually as placemats, or table coverings, chairbacks... etc!
    Materials:
at least 150yds of yarn per month (I'm using 4 weight acrylic)
    4.5mm crochet hook
Using these materials, my square measures about 14 inches wide and 10.5 inches tall.
Feel free to play around with your hook size and yarns if you'd like!

I have just come across your channel with this CAL. I will be doing mine with dk, it's easier to get hold of with a bigger variety of colours in my local shops.

And one of the nice things about these blankets is that you can really use any yarn - and if you want to make a larger blanket, you can always make extra blocks by creating your own graphs duplicating certain graphs, or by adding a wider border at the end! :)

Hi, enjoyed your video tutorial. How do we get the graphs for the squares? Thank you!

Thanks for watching! I am working on getting the patterns up on ETSY (shopsmores.etsy.com) which will include a graph. But you can also take a screen shot of the graph at the end (minute mark 17:43 - ruclips.net/video/Ub5EOJKBGP8/видео.htmlsi=NxFGWSLnA5oTwmqj&t=1063 )

How many rows is the snowflake square?

Each square is 20 rows (if you're following along with the monthly calendar blankets and the different squares!)
