- Have you wondered how to crochet a woven heart?
In this video I'll show you how to crochet this cute woven heart. You might have made something like this with paper in your art class. It's an easy project that creates a lovely decoration. These make great gifts too!
I'm using a size I 5.5 mm crochet hook for my sample and worsted weight 100% acrylic yarn. Feel free to use any other size yarn and hook for your heart including cotton if you want to use this in the kitchen and bath.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I hope you enjoy this video! Donna Wolfe from Naztazia

I follow a lot of crochet RUclips people. Most of them could take a few lessons from you on making the perfect instruction video. Clarity is exceptional! Instruction without any unneeded or confusing words added. I just cant give you enough accolades! Seriously, thank you!
Thank you for your kindness!
Donna , I have been a “student” of your videos for years but never expressed how grateful for your very clear instructions. You are the best 🥰👍
Thank you! Happy to help!
Donna I totally agree with that other listener Wendy I think. Your instructions are so clear and concise and helpful. You make such lovely things. Thank you for all the help and inspiration. Bless your hands
Thank you so much!
What beautiful hearts Donna I crochet a heart every year to put inside my husbands valentines card I will be making this one this year with finer yarn and a smaller hook because I don’t want it too big , thank you ❤️Amanda xx💞
This is the cutest heart. I am going to make several for granddaughters. They left their Christmas tree up without decorations and are decorating it for Valentines.
Great idea!
I was thinking of doing the same and making garland. My tree is pink tinsel. Your granddaughters will love these 😊
Another beautiful pattern. Thankyou going to make this for sore.❤❤❤
Love the pattern but even more I love and appreciate the clarity of your descriptions and especially given reasons for why you’re doing particular stitches where. Sized up and paired, these would make gorgeous cushion/pillow covers. 💖
Happy to help!
The hearts are fantastic. Love them. So lovely .
Great video. 😊😊😊 Thank you for all your great videos.
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful & great instructions. Thank You!!!
Thank you for sharing so many beautiful crafts. I love them for myself & for gifts. God bless you ❤
Thank you! 😊
Just completed 50 of these using cotton for my son's school, students and staff.
I really like this. I'm thinking of ways I could use it. Thanks for this Donna.
That would be an absolutely adorable hot pad. I love it! ❤
Be sure to use cotton yarn for a hot pad. Acrylic yarn could potentially melt. I'm going to try a hot pad, too!
I absolutely love this heart! U make everything seem so easy. I love following you... Thanks!!!
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Donna. These are so pretty! Your instruction is stellar! Thank you for sharing!❤
Happy to help!
Very pretty for a Valentine!
Thank you! 😊
Firstly I would like to say thank you for the subtitles. Not everyone thinks of that. Secondly I would like to say, how you presented this in crotcheting in a way that this caught my attention from beginning to end. I am so excited to start making woven hearts from start to finish. Finally I will actually finish crotcheting something, this will not go in my half done project bag. Even though I have just found you, looking forward to see what else you have out there. Thank you. ❤
You have definitely made my day. For me 2024 is looking real good.
Thank you for your kindness!

Çok güzel...💯💐💯💐💯🙋 Elinize sağlık olsun
❤
Thank you for the video tutorial. I am left handed and twist it. It doesn't look right.
Just discovered your videos and am already a fan! Thankyou for sharing, just wondering if this could be made bigger? How would I accomplish that please?
I would assume it's possible, mostly by adding more to the semicircle and length to each strand, although I've never really expanded upon the one shown in the video.
💞💞💞
Lindo
Lovely, can we just use one strand , I find it hard to use two strands thanks for the lovely cute pattern
The heart is designed with 2 strands of yarn in mind to make it larger, sturdier, and prevent curling that otherwise would occur with 1 strand. Plus the heart can be made within an hour or so.
Thank you 😊
If I want to make them much bigger do I just increase the chains that are made initially and then follow the pattern according to the chains I made? I hope I make sense. Like I know my numbers will be bigger but in regards to following the way it’s done.
Plz how and where all can i use these hearts other then gifts.
Hearts are very pretty i want to make them and use them too. So plz tell me its various ways of using it
This is so pretty. Did you use acrylic yarn or cotton yarn?
Because mine are decorative, I used acrylic yarn. However if you are going to use them as useful items like dishcloth, washcloth, etc. I would suggest cotton or wool instead of acrylic.
@naztazia thanks for responding so quickly. I thought they would make pretty hot pads, but I might have to sew two together.
God bless you. You are so creative!
