2024 Filet Crochet CAL 👻 OCTOBER GHOST | Calendar Blanket

Welcome to the 2024 Filet Crochet CAL Calendar blanket!
The October square is a ghost!

This year we are going to work 12 different graphs (one representing each month) in filet crochet. You can turn these into a nice blanket at the end of the year, or, if you prefer, you can use them individually as placemats, or table coverings, chairbacks... etc!
Materials:
at least 150-200yds of yarn per month (I'm using 4 weight acrylic)
4.5mm crochet hook
Using these materials, my square measures about 14 inches wide and 10.5 inches tall.
Feel free to play around with your hook size and yarns if you'd like!

thanks so much for all the bonus squares that you have provided of late - ghosts & pumpkins don't really mean much in my world, but you have provided plenty of other options. Do you recommend blocking the squares before joining?

You shouldn't have to block the squares before you join, but if you feel that would help get them all the same size (if some seem bigger or smaller than others), then it cant hurt to block.
