Book club isn't my type of color way, but I'm also obsessed with how yours is working up! I started mine yesterday and ended up doing the same open block C2C pattern you picked since I was worried the normal one would be to warm. This pattern really makes this yarn's color pops shine. 🥰
Thanks, easy to follow. My initial response to the pattern and yarn separately was so-so. Together though, they work well. You’re creating a beautiful and interesting blanket. 😊
It's so beautiful! I wasn't able to get the Bookclub, but snagged 2 of the Evergreen, I've had them sitting, trying to figure out what pattern I was going to do, Thank you so much for doing a great tutorial, I'll be making this one.
Thank you so much for your information and your tutorial on the C2C method. I was watching blossom crochet explain it, and it was a good tutorial, but I didn’t like turning at the end of every row because it was confusing me. I found the way you do it. and hooked by Robin. So the good news is I finally understand it now and I am doing the open stitch. I had to rip it out two times. I’m not gonna lie but the third time it is perfect and I have made quite a bit of progress. But thank you so much for these tutorials and videos on crochet and plants and really anything you wanna do your videos on. Thank you so much.
wow...beautiful stiches....also tried your chicken and LOVE it...I have decided to make a family chicks...bahahahahha...hope your birthday trip was outrageous !!!!
Thank you for the tutorial. You are a great teacher. I have the Evergreen Anniversary Cake with the plan to make my boyfriend a camo blanket (he’s a veteran). I saw my colorway works up great when doing C2C. Thank you for your yarn review video and this tutorial. ❤
I picked up two skeins of the Birch Bark for a c2c blanket for my oldest daughter for Christmas. I also have two of last years' colourway Wild Flowers that I'm making a Sunflower style Granny Square blanket for my youngest daughter for Christmas. The colour changes are much further apart and I'm colour controlling to keep each block a single colour. 4 rounds is over 8" square unblocked.
I ended up with 2 Prismatic and 1 Book Club, the green ones as well as browns. I am in love with these cakes. I’m sad I didn’t get more than 1 of book club. But might do a C2C like yours with prismatic. So fun talking Anniversary cakes and c2c today Nick! 🩵🧡🤍💛💚
When the video started, I thought it was a focal illusion where the yarn cakes were really close to the camera, and you are far. Imagine how wide my eyes were when I realized that those yarn cakes are actually GIGANTIC
Oh please please do a tutorial on hexagon cardigan. I want to make one so badly ! Whose tutorial are you using? Please please do this. Love the yarn it will look gorgeous. ❤❤😊😊
When I saw the title with "bookclub" in it, I thought you might be doing a reading/book blanket. Similar to a temperature blanket, you assign a yarn color to a book genre and crochet a line of that color when you read the genre. I'm not disappointed, but knowing you like to read, I think a 2025 bookshelf blanket is something to consider.
How many rows did you do on your Halloween blanket compared to this one? My Micheal’s app only lets me go out to a 200 mile radius. There was nothing out there. I love this bookends color. The other colors are not as nice to me.😊
Your blanket is beautiful, Crystal at #bagodaycrochet just posted some beautiful yarns, too. I will definitely be using this #crochetstitch to make my #c2cblanket Thank you for posting the how to #crochettutorial...✨️ ❣️ ✨️
I just started this pattern in this colorway this afternoon, but am hesitant just wingin' it because i dont want to incorrectly estimate when ive used half of the skein and then have to frog it back if i run out. Any pointers on how big of a square i can get with 1 skein?
Do you have a scale? Maybe just weigh your cake as you go. You know it’s 1000g to start, so use up half of that, give or take, and then start the decrease!
Im not sure why you are not interested in doing tutorials as you are good at explaining the details, slow. no loud annoying music, and explain each step csrefully
Nowadays Gorgeous bag, however, for saving money and high-quality bags, try luxrul the rest of the money goes to needy students at schools to pay for their education, not much, but do help them a little.

You did a great job explaining this stitch. You are a great teacher. I am going to definitely make an afghan with this stitch. God bless.
Nick, It's just awesome how much you accomplish in just a few days! I really like the way this colorway works up using the C2C method.
I love the POV of the tutorial! The lighting, the sound and the instructions were grade A+ 😍

Thank you for the swatch square. I couldn't get an anniversary cake . Good luck with your nursing career. I retired after 43 years. 🙏🏼💙🐦😷
I think you do a very good job explaining how to do this. You don't rush through it and take the time to see what you're doing 🎉😊
Thank you so much! I used to be a teacher before I was a nurse so maybe that’s where it comes from!
Beautiful 😍
Just beautiful colors and work

Wow what a compliment! ❤
This isn't a new tutorial Bob Wilson 123 aka crochet with Clare did this 10 years ago. You did do a good job with your tutorial though.
Happy belated birthday. Hugs, Naomi in Sth Australia
How did you do yours? How many rows? I love the yarn colors hope to get some. ❤❤❤️
Lovely!
You should try doing more tutorials. The patience and instructions in your work anyone could learn from you.
Can you possibly tell me the size I could make with only 1 cake of this yarn? My old brain just won’t do this. Thanks, Nick
Do you want to see the blankets I completed using Anniversary Cakes? On blanket #5.
I would love to. Let me know. 😊😊❤
Yes please! Post pics on our Facebook page!

The blanket is lovely. Just stated one in the inclusivity color way from Joann’s..

This is the only color I see these cakes in, so far! Do you know what other colors they have??
I just got my anniversary cakes!! I’m wondering how to guess half way point of c2c
Do you have a scale? Maybe just weigh your cake as you go. You know it’s 1000g to start, so use up half of that, give or take, and then start the decrease!
Ho did you find store with stock?

That looks so heavy. I wouldn't be able to lift that.
