PLEASE paint these - You have created absolutely phenomenal sculpts and they truly deserve it. Would have loved to have seen this as a much longer video to be honest!
Lukas is truly a genius and an artist. He never ceases to amaze me. My favorite part of these 3 units is how he managed yo keep them all very similar in overall height despite the very different poses.
we love you luca, i think you should make the videos a bit longer or maybe split this video into 3 parts (15-20 minutes) specifically for these series but in general too, you are underselling your work, you have invested so much time into this sculptures and we barely see any of it. They dont have to be as quick pace as this one, they can be less edited too
Yeh this video definitely needed to be 5-10 mins longer to show more of the sculpting process. Too many RUclipsrs seem to be stuck in the past when it comes to the RUclips algorithm, it now prioritises longer videos rather than penalising them.
I love the idea that your SO would be weirded out by you looking up lots of photos of muscly dudes, but they’d be totally ok with finding a folder on your computer full of rat feet pics… ya know, for reference.
It would be kinda sick to have some warpstone coming out of the beast moulder rat, as in lore that’s how skaven make such mutated beasts. A large crystal coming out of the shoulder or chest of the creature would be pretty rad!
Maybe for future sculpting / kitbashing videos add a shot of the mini primed? When I kitbash it usually looks like a Frankenstein monster, but once primed it really ties it all together.
I loved everything but the Plasticard Bionic Legs I think adding some more clay into those would help blend those parts together better, maybe more tubing and hoses that looks like muscles, I feel like some carbon fiber muscles or something to fill in the gaps would help alot
I'm leaving my dream, having all the amazing hobby channels feature more skaven (my army), but having Lucas specifically giving so much love to the rats, and putting together crazy good videos like this one... oh man, that's the cherry on top. One more like so we can get a video of Lucas painting the verminlords!
Apoxie Sculpt tip: keep it in the freezer for a longer shelf life. The jars really do last for a long time if you’re not building something giant. However, I’ve found that they get really crusty and unusable after a year when stored at room temp. I usually pull mine from the freezer 30 mins before I need it, that gives it time to warm up and become workable again.
Oh, I just did the same with the sylvan treeman for my oldworld woodelves. another incredibly useful box is the mortis engine, you get super cool bits from it. 3 vampiresses , 2 of which can be sculpted onto horses, 1 which is very fitting for a throne sculpt 3 dynamic banshees 1 necromancer in admittedly pretty basic posture, but fits well into old-world units and a ton of nice stuff i used for terrain
Look amazing, only thing bugging me is the mechanical legs size not matching up to the rest of the mini scalewise... can't wait to see them painted yes yes....
The out of the box vermin lord is so un-Skaven-ly it's terrible. What you've made from the box is absolutely incredible, I'd never have thought it possible. Very impressive.
I'd love to see these guys painted up, especially with the Darth Maul-esque legs getting the wood texture. I have minimal sculpting skills, so seeing this play out was beyond phenomenal. Great work!
If you're going for the cheaper build thing, use cold porcelain instead of epoxy, it's just glue, water and corn starch with some lemon or vinegar to prevent bacteria and fungi, it's resistant, easy to deal with and the result is surprisingly similar. Use vaseline while sculpting
I started something similar with a chaos Helbrute, but the sculpting part of the process got in the way. It was definitely a skill issue. Love this project
What an amazing set of custon miniatures, congrats, Lukas! I agree with many other comments, would've loved to see a bit more of the actual sculpting process - you guys are totally elite but we rarely get to see the nitty-gritty of your work process anymore unless you do explicit tutorials. And you do such amazing work. Anyways, thanks a lot for inspiring the rest of us :)
my only complaint is the length. This was sooo short. Amazing work. I'd love to see a lot more of the sculpting process. So fascinating to watch. Love the result!
I made 3 different Treelords for £32.36 (and a couple of spare bases) - Got 3 copies of Stormbringer Mag #40 and one copy of #41. I get em for £8.09 each as Forbidden Planet does a university staff/student discount of 10%. Issue 40 makes the Treelord Ancient all on it's own, then issue #41 contains all the parts to make the Treelord and the Spirit of Durthu variants - but all the bonus bits are exclusive from one another so as long as you have 3x issue#40 you can make all 3 models from 4 issues.
I don't have social media so I'll say it here: my copy of Paths of Sona just arrived. Super hyped to get into it, congrats on the incredible achievement
Lucas really needs his own brand of cookies. Ones that come with several different icing colours that you can use to create your own custom coloured iced cookies.
"remember to apply de-greaser" is a bit broad. I work in storage, and if i use industry de-greaser, the model will be ruined. What kinds of de-greaser would you recommend?
Those minis are as always madly beautiful, great job. As a great fan of the skaven faction, i would love to see some warpstone technology thing added on the clan moulder one ! I think it would add even more definition and identity to the mini that is already very beautiful.
I feel like the moulder rat could probably benefit from some kind of rag/cape around the legs. They looks a little spindly and out of place with the torso at the moment.
This is amazing, I really love the sculpting you did on the two you had to completely freehand. My favorite personally is the one that was prebuilt just cause the added details really make it pop. Second favorite has to be the robe rat though. As amazing as they all look, I will say that the two you made from scratch need more details unfortunately. Stuff like necklaces, trophies or belts, fur texture definitely. The legs on the muscle rat also feel a bit long IMO. These feel like fantastic bases, but they just feel like they're lacking in enough detail. Like for the robe rat, I could totally see a necklace of skulls, some tattered robes/holes in the robe, maybe a rope belt with hanging potions or something.
they are amazing Lukas! personally I think that the mechanical legs would look better with some more meat on them like they implanted those things making it work somehow
PLEASE paint these - You have created absolutely phenomenal sculpts and they truly deserve it. Would have loved to have seen this as a much longer video to be honest!
This video was criminally short, i really wish it was 2 or even 3 parts really showing us everything
Lukas is truly a genius and an artist. He never ceases to amaze me.
My favorite part of these 3 units is how he managed yo keep them all very similar in overall height despite the very different poses.
why are we not talking about how amazing those sketchs are?
we love you luca, i think you should make the videos a bit longer or maybe split this video into 3 parts (15-20 minutes) specifically for these series but in general too, you are underselling your work, you have invested so much time into this sculptures and we barely see any of it.

They getting so big they don't read comments anymore
Love that Lucas started a Skaven army! His painting is really nice!
“And Rats doesn’t have hooves”
- Lukas
They also don’t have bionic legs! Sorry but I think those plasticard legs look REALLY out of place
I love the idea that your SO would be weirded out by you looking up lots of photos of muscly dudes, but they’d be totally ok with finding a folder on your computer full of rat feet pics… ya know, for reference.
lol
Dude Lucas, that sculping is legit my duder. Clean as hell.
Nice work

"14 kilos, that's 36 Stones for you Scottish people, and a million pounds for you Americans" hahahaha, that had me rolling
muscle verminlord can finally skip leg day all he wants. Amazing work!
I loved everything but the Plasticard Bionic Legs I think adding some more clay into those would help blend those parts together better, maybe more tubing and hoses that looks like muscles, I feel like some carbon fiber muscles or something to fill in the gaps would help alot

Nice! That's a great way to get variety from Verminlord kit. I'm looking forward to seeing these painted, especially that Eshin Verminlord.
Feels a lot less like 'turning it into 3' and more like 'sculpting 2 additional' ones.
0:50 he turns into Uncle Roger for a split second :)
Just amazing what you created with this Skaven. He has earned his cookies this week.
Oh, I just did the same with the sylvan treeman for my oldworld woodelves.

You're KIDDING by fitting all of this sculpting into less than 15 mins!
AMAZING work Lukas!
All Praise to Lucas! May his future be blessed with many cookies!
Very impressed with the sculpting, you must be proud of how well all three turned out!
The out of the box vermin lord is so un-Skaven-ly it's terrible.

It’s not like one of us would be able to do something like that! That’s AN AMAZING WORK!!
I loved to watch the process, can’t wait for the paint job !
Most excellent Lukas!!! 👏👏👏👏You guys have really been hiding your talents, the drawings, the sculpts, very impressive.👍👍😉
Another proper hobby video. That’s 3 in a row. 👏 👏 keep it coming.
If you're going for the cheaper build thing, use cold porcelain instead of epoxy, it's just glue, water and corn starch with some lemon or vinegar to prevent bacteria and fungi, it's resistant, easy to deal with and the result is surprisingly similar. Use vaseline while sculpting
Rad stuff! You made the sculpting look so easy! I’ve been a fan of Aves apoxy sculpt forever. It’s such a great product.
Those look dope af man.. very nicely done! Can't wait to see you paint them up!
It is projects like this that blow me away. I now want to start collecting Skaven... Thanks Lucas!!! As if I don't have enough in my pile of shame.
I started something similar with a chaos Helbrute, but the sculpting part of the process got in the way. It was definitely a skill issue. Love this project
“Praise me, and give me cookies” 😂😂😂
Nice to see Lucas doing his own video . Both the guys are super awesome and funny as heck
PAINT IT ! PAINT IT ! PAINT IT !
What an amazing set of custon miniatures, congrats, Lukas! Incredible poses! Well done, Lukas, on the sculpting. Can't wait to see the paint jobs.
As ever, great artwork from you guys. Looking forward to seeing the next chapter in this project
They all look so good!! Really hope to see you paint all three in the future!
my only complaint is the length. This was sooo short. Amazing work. I'd love to see a lot more of the sculpting process. So fascinating to watch. Love the result!
I would love a part 2 where you get another box and convert the other three!!
I love the videos about turning one kit into 3 models. It's inspired me to give it a try
Man, these are incredible - can't wait to see how you paint em!
This is the kind of video I like on this channel
I made 3 different Treelords for £32.36 (and a couple of spare bases) - Got 3 copies of Stormbringer Mag #40 and one copy of #41. dude, your scuplting is on a godly level.
The drawings you make before creating the figures are truly amazing, great work all around

"remember to apply de-greaser" is a bit broad. I work in storage, and if i use industry de-greaser, the model will be ruined. What kinds of de-greaser would you recommend?
They look amazing, great work!😍 I really look forward to see them painted!
Lucas is very impressive. My english is too bad to say how he impressed me all the time.
amazing sculpts. I am exited to see how the wooden legs will look after painting. Keep up the amazing work :) I enjoy every of your videos
Was there ever a follow up video? I'd love to see these painted and finished!
Not yet!
Feel free to get more content from this kind of exceptional work
Absolutely love that the aluminum wire got its own B-roll with the lighting and fog 🤣🤣🤣
The Eshin one crouching over the ruins?
**chefs kiss**
wow they turned out so great! so many awesome little details, love all three!
I love watching kit bashings videos so much. And you guess do such dope ones. Can't wait to see these painted.
Those minis are as always madly beautiful, great job. As a great fan of the skaven faction, i would love to see some warpstone technology thing added on the clan moulder one ! I think it would add even more definition and identity to the mini that is already very beautiful.
This is by far the coolest video and minis in this channel!!!
Can we get a longer video of this build? I would watch the sculpting for an hour! Great job
All three of these look fantastic. I don’t know which one is my favorite. Giant Darth Maul Ratman has some great vibes though.
Want miniatures? Sculpt them. Genious advice I definitely searched for
I feel like the moulder rat could probably benefit from some kind of rag/cape around the legs. They looks a little spindly and out of place with the torso at the moment.
Awesome stuff - would love to see more of these verminlords, and more videos like this!
These are INCREDIBLE! Can't wait for the next video!
I love this kind of content - I turned my Great Unclean One kit into three GUOs just using the extra bits and papier mache.
can you do a video on the acrylic pens? are they worth using?
They look awesome. Can't wait to see them painted
Those look really good.. Want to see the painting video(s) for them next please!!
Plant them into some sort of support while sculpting.
That Eshin one is my fave and is really incredible. They all look good though and have inspired me to try to do something similar.
they look so awsome i like the middle one the most
Great work! My favourite one ia the lurky assassin standing on the wall!
I like the Consept sketch’s ‘cus it give the viewer a roughish picture of what the final model might look like.
paint paint paint.
I NEED to see these fully realized.
You guys are inspiring me to sculpt. Also your brush video helped a lot as I was getting really frustrated with a real hair brush
Would these models bend out of shape due to the wire frame or does the putty harden enough to keep it in place?
Love this series!!! I would love to see this painted the sculpting is incredible!!

Har ni sett Jazza måla med AKRYL-pennor?? Funkar det verkligen - kan ni testa???
Excited to see these with some color !!!
bloody fine work Lucas! keep it up, can't wait To see you paint them 🙂
Never would of thought to do this. Nice.
Prefect timing for new AoS and a start of skaven army for me
Is there really no part II of this?!? How did you not paint them?
does anyone know what the music is at about 12:40? absolutely banging (just like the sculpts)
Loving the skaven content Lukas, keep it coming Im getting hyped for my skaventide box
5:30 - I immediately pulled my headphones off, thinking someone to my right's cell phone was going off.
I like how he used strategically placed leaves instead of starting the bionic legs a little higher.
Awesome Work! I can´t wait to see the paintjob!^^
Lucas you are one talented bastard! Well done they look amazing can’t wait to see the paint job
I mean... wow!!😱😱😱 so friggin gooood!!! I wanna try this.😊
they are amazing Lukas! personally I think that the mechanical legs would look better with some more meat on them like they implanted those things making it work somehow
How much did you actually save when you spent that much on the clay? Don't get me wrong they look cool...but did really save $$$?
