All set in Stone. after the first ( payday) i am getting MY FIRST SCX24 ( Gladiator) from the local hobby shop. No shipping wait time haha. I would Loev your Suggestions and or THoughts :) ?
if your still having issues with the throttle. you have to set your remote to 0 on trim for the first time sync then after that shouldnt have any other issues.
Thank you for this review, been dying for someone who knows their stuff to review it. The throttle problem could be that the throttle trim needs adjustment, I have the injora MB100 brushed esc and it was behaving the same way until I sussed out the throttle trim, also I can't solder at all! but I've recently purchased some engineer PA-09 crimpers and they are fantastic for crimping the PH2.0 (standard SCX24) connectors they only seem to work with 24AWG silicone wire it took a couple of goes to perfect it as they are tiny but they really are good👍again thanks for taking the plunge and reviewing this system👍
@@24Yepp You need a channel 2 output on the receiver. SCX24 V1 has it, V2 (the blue one) NOT, not sure about V3 i think yes. Also a new radio might not cost more than 25 or 30 bucks.
@Danielxperez14 once you power it up, if you're not getting response, then it's already in calibration mode, you just have to do the full throttle, full reverse, then you're good
Looks like a great setup. Def not looking forward to cramming all that BS wiring into a small truck but I’ll be picking one up after this review. Killer job bro!
Seeing this has me convinced to build an RC crawler. On the plus side you have plenty of wiring to play with, and once you know where you want everything you can shorten those wires with a little flux, solder, and heatshrink.
@24yep hello, i have little problem. Everything is good but from 15% to 25% it is nervous. Settings is factory. Battery is full also in the controller. I try use a 3s 450mah battery with switching bec output but the same problem. Can you help me how to solve the problem ? I think a smaller setting in ESC would be enough But i don't know which on it is.
Question: Can you run the purple viper with the stock v2? I'm building both my boys the ir60 and already ordered the esc and remotes from the gen2 scxs. I just tried one and i can't figure it out. It works with the first gen and the new 3rd gen. Am I missing anything on the 2nd gen?
What radio did you use along with your ESC ? Probably gonna do something similar. This is my first scx24. I have a few 10 scale trucks and two fms fcx18s. Doing a beetle build and wanna do it all right !
Nice one looks like il be upsetting the wife again just purchased one of the injora brushed esc's and was realy impressed with its slow crawl .oh well 😂 thanks for the vid great as usual. great timing to watch it before i head off to work in the uk . PEACE !

@@24Yepp Nice I’ve been a mountain biker for over 20 years every. Ike I have has been custom built I’ve picked my own parts & frame. I’ve raced & built mountain bikes for years. That’s kinda what got me into RC I think the two are a great match. My current ride is a Yeti Lunch Ride 29er.

@@24Yepp I bet the Stupid Break is on full in default. I have no idea either heheh i am just guessing by the way my stupid Break works. I really like that Motor and setup. Does it bind to the stock controller ?
Pleased injora finally broke into this part of the market but the seriously need to reduce the size of their esc’s.. I wanted to use one on my new FJ but it was to big so had to burn more money to get a lizard pro
Just a quick question (not related to the video) I noticed that you run injora SCX24 shocks on a couple of your rigs. I'm trying to set up 2 sets for my boy, I've filled them with 20w oil, I've farted around for ages trying to get them compressing and de-compressing smoothly, I'm extremely sure there are no air bubbles and I'm still coming a rubber, it's getting quite frustrating, I'm getting them to a point where they feel smooth, then I'll leave them for a while, upon my return they are binding up 😳 have you ran into this problem? If so, would you happen to know any tips or tricks to overcome this? I must be doing something wrong as yours seem smoother than Fonzie on a night out.
I use thiker oil 35 or 40. And just some drops. And the binding is normal, when you didn't use them a few days. Just move them up and down 1 or 2 times and they will act smooth again.
I actually have never messed with the oil. I just open the package & toss the softest springs on them. If they bind at all, I loosen the threaded parts a bit and they seem fine 🤷🏼♂️
Boy that thang is noisy! Like a baseball card in your spokes. This is for those that love A LOT of wires. A LOT of wires. Sticking with my Python Pro/ Cedar set ups.
@Danielxperez14 the best, in my opinion is the Furitek Python Pro/ Cedar combo. It's definitely not the cheapest but worth every penny. Smooth as butter and the Bluetooth ap is $$.
You are the first one I could find reviewing this item, and I'm glad you are👍🏻🙂
Been waiting for an honest review of this!! Gonna watch it now
I've had a few people tell me theirs were bad right out of the box. Injora has sent replacements though... 🤷♂
@@24Yepp well you sold me on one! Loved when you held the throttle and it climbed right up no problem.
Yes they are great in my opinion. Especially for 60$. I immediately purchased two more. Like the vids, RC onward.
Set throttle end points to 0 and restart esc. Should throttle bind every time!! Love the videos and your content!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!
Gotcha, thank you!

Does that work with the stock receiver and radio ? Finally some cheap good combo 👍

The mb100 esc does the same thing with the throttle
Funny cuz my friends does but mine doesn’t
The esc needs the remote recalibrated. So when it does it go full throttle, then full reverse, then you're good to go

It is the thing you use to program the esc
Is that with no tuning, just plug and play? Might have to order myself one. Looks pretty smooth for the price
